Understaffed - find a better location to go to; or better yet a different chain store to go to. I went in last night in search of fish... there was a worker chatting with a customer like they were friends. They walked away and I waited about 10 minutes in the fish department. Finally went up to the cashier and asked if I could get some assistance in the fish department and he paged over the intercom. Went back, waited another 5-10 minutes before giving up and leaving. The guy I originally saw must have disappeared and the only other worker I could find was the only guy working the front register (while also trying to stock shelves in between customers). Definitely dont have enough staff here so if youre in a hurry, or just in general, find another store.

Oh wow... So one of the cashiers couldnt do a return to my card for some reason, so she gave me cash - and one of those $10 notes (out of like $18 or so in change) was counterfeit. Of course, I didnt notice it immediately but called them within 48 hours. They only offered to "exchange" it - after giving me fake money (committing a crime) and putting me in a position to be charged with a felony had I used it. When I came in to exchange it - the manager or the store said that they were only doing this as a "courtesy," and implied that I should be thankful for some reason. Needless to say I wont be shopping here ever again, and I would advise you not to as well - unless you want to subject yourself to criminal charges and flak from the staff.

Smaller than your average petco. Either the staff is friendly or rude. There isnt much of an in between. They sold me an infant ferret that passed away in less than two weeks due to malnutrition from not having her mothers milk. (You cant really buy ferret baby formula in a store). The ferret should of never been put in store that soon. I wasnt given proper paperwork to file upon adoption and the store refused to reimburse me (and even suggested I dig her up from where i buried her and keep her in my freezer for proof that she had passed). I had to contact corporate and it took awhile but I finally got refunded. I will say they seem to take better care of their beta fish then most stores. And overall its not a bad store.

Come here if you want to shop for toys/leashes/fish. Pass on their grooming service, one hot mess. Have an older dog who, normally goes to a different groomer, has some weakness in the back legs. They turned him away saying its more "humane" to "not force him to stand." I prefaced my appointment with the above concerns and they allowed me to make an appointment. And, the more exercise my dog has using his back legs to strengthen them is what my vet recommended to curb the progression of the neurological disorder. Really disappointed at their grooming staff for being flat out lazy. So many other places to go with understanding staff that can accommodate if you have a special needs dog.

We take our dog to Petco each year to get his vaccinations without any problems until today. Our dog is not aggressive, however, we did muzzle him anyway while he was in the store. He happened to growl at one of the techs and therefore they refused to give him his shots. These techs should not be so quick to judge a dog and are supposed to be trained in dealing with every type of dog in all types of situations. This clearly was not the case today. I never had any problems in all the years we have been to this Petco location and am very upset that my dog had to be turned away due to their complete lack of intelligence and know how.

Terrible grooming customer service. I made an appt for grooming for my Wheaton Terrier. My scheduled appt was cancelled because they did not have a groomer avail for the Wheaton traditional cut. So it was rescheduled that day for a groomer who could suit his needs. When we showed to the scheduled appt, they didnt have us on the books and refused to make room for our dog and did nothing to make it right. Very frustrating when this was Petcos mistake. I make appts for a reason. Petco just lost a dedicated customer.

Love the staff here! Both my dogs do too! I highly suggest bringing your dogs here to get a nail trimming. The two ladies works in the dog grooming area today were so incredible. My dogs go a little crazy when they get their nails trimmed, and the staff was so patient with them. I was very impressed! I then went to shop in the store for one specific item and another staff member took me straight to it and even explained how it works. Thanks for everything, we will be back!

Ive found the Dog Trainers to be very good and knowledgeable, but ever since some changes in the fish department ive been steering clear of it for live fish anyways. They used to have a guy there who was extremly knowledgeable about fish keeping and offered great advice and answers to many problems that happen in the hobby. The new staff in this department seem either undertrained or they dont care and just want a sale. In all other areas they are a exceelent store.

This Petco is a small one but they have the basics like food, supplies, and toys. They also have an area up front for a couple cats waiting to be adopted. Sometimes they will do training and behavior coaching. We go to this store because its next to Wal-mart. So its convenient for the location. Not many staff are ever on hand and the most Ive seen in there is 2 people. So if you know what youre there for its fine but if you need assistance it may not happen.

They were very nice but I think there was a huge misunderstanding. They shaved my long coated dog without my permission. This wouldnt normally be a big deal, but I have been reading that their hair does not grow back or does not grow back the same. He looks like a little rat currently, so they completely ruined my dog if that is the case. The consumer should definitely be informed of this dramatic of a hair cut.

This is a great Petco. I dont know whats wrong with the person complaining about the fish being sick and what not, but this place has given me great advise in how to keep my fishtank healthy. The staff is great and very helpfull. Im not sure I can mention names but I always look for a specific staff to help me out in the fish section. Much props to you J***.

I was there today buying things for my dog. My dog has a torn acl, I thought maybe some sort of a brace would help for out on his walk. When asked if they had some sort of brace for her ankle or leg that may possibly help. They suggest and tried to sell me an E-collar. Ummm ok. My dogs not trying to lick stitches out lol

DO NOT buy a fish from this store. My boyfriends betta that he got 2 days ago died and when we went back to look for a new fish, we saw a dead betta in on of their containers, not to mention all of the other bettas that were barely moving. Needless to say, we will NOT be getting his new fish from this petco.
