Ive been to many Michaels stores and I must say that this one has to have one the most pretentious assistant managers I have ever met. I believe his name was Ben, and I felt so offended when I was approached by him. First of all I walk in and I try being pleasant and say hi and I get no response, the employees at the Michaels in Encino are much more pleasant. Back to the story, later on Ben comes back towards me and tells me to leave the store because he thinks I told him some obscene comment. It was made into such a big deal and I was so embarrassed when other employees came to calm the situation down. At the end he figured out that it was a misunderstanding but all I know is that I am never doing my shopping there and advice others to make the extra trip to a better friendlier Michaels.

Our local scrapbook store went out of business So I had no choice but to shop at Michaels. But never again that place is horrrible. Now if I need stickers, invitation paper, scrapbook supplies I drive out to Agoura/Oak Park to Treatured Memories. Its a bit of a drive but its worth it. They always have everything I need, Glue, popdots, craft supplies, stamps, inks, huge paper supply, cardstock. Plus they are the sweetest people ever!! Ive even started going to classes there.

rude staff, I was looking for the same product I bought a week ago at a different Michaels , the floor associate didnt know where it was and said they dont carry it , after I insisted he called the assistant manager which said it was on clearance and now its gone.. I knew they were lazy to look for it and guess what??.. I found the product as I was heading to leave the store ! rude and lazy staff!

My favorite of all of the Michaels that Ive been to.... And there have been alot of Michaels and arts and craft projects over the years! And not just as an adult either, but even as a kid growing up! Have Fun! Enjoy yourself & find everything you need for every kind of arts and craft you can think of. .and some you cant! Theyll even teach you how to make it! !

Salesperson will not help. Yes it was busy but maybe she could have given me a number or asked me to wait or get somebody to help. Had to twist her arm so she cantell me to maybe come back thursday for the new shipment. Hopefully there really is a shipment. Hate what I am doing. Its unfair for all the oher good workers. Weed them out.

Had what I needed but employees kept telling me they didnt carry it. Just took some searching around in the store. Similar items, paint for example, is in at least 4 different places throughout the store instead of one area. This can be a bit confusing, even to the store workers.

I shop here often for my kids schools projects, asking the staff for help is like getting the "k-mart treatment, if if not there we do not have it". cashier left without saying a word and left me standing by the register. Bad work ethics on that employee register #3.

Theres not enough staff to tend to the customers needs. I went here on a Wednesday morning to buy some fabric. I dont know why 5 other people rolled up wanting fabric at the same time but they did and there was only one person to measure and it took her forever

Wow, the store is fine and things seem organized even during holiday season. But I couldnt breathe in the store due to their air freshener. It smelled like spicy cinnamon which Im sure permeated throughout all my clothes.

Great place to get supplies for school stuff if you need it right then and there. However there is barley any staff on floor so asking for help can be troublesome.
