DISHONEST OWNERSHIP Originally I had planned on purchasing a bicycle from this shop, I went twice to test ride different bicycles but when I went into another shop I realized how many things even the owner did not do that every other bike shop I went into did. They do not properly fit you for the bike, They put me on whatever bike I was interested in purchasing no matter the size ranging from a womens 17 to a mens 21 inch. I was never once told which one was my size or where I should place the saddle. They would have sold me any size without hesitation. They do not do a safety check on the bike before allowing you to test ride, and they do not allow test rides anywhere except on the flat land right behind the shop. I ended up purchasing from a shop that had better service and had the bike that I was looking for which Leon did not. Later I returned to Precision because it is the closest bike shop to my home because I had a flat tire. The people that work in the store beside Leon (the owner) were very polite they saw me right away and put a new tube on my bike. The technician noticed the fork on my bike had some how been turned around and offered to fix it for me. After he fixes it the owner tells him to stop and that he must charge me 30 because he turned around my fork and tightened the screws he loosened to turn the fork around. He told him to stop checking my bike and while my bike was upside down he told me that my bike was tuned wrong my front derailleur was not working properly and that I needed to pay him 70 dollars for a tune up even though his website states a derailleur adjustment is only 20 dollars. At that point I told them I would just drive to the further shop where I purchased my bike from. He then told me that I made a horrible purchase and needed to take advantage of the return policy where I purchased my bike and purchase a bike from him. (I did extensive research before I decided on a bike to purchase and Im sure I got the best bang for my buck) I took my bike to another shop they did a once over and said they did not see the issue. What Leon had one was change my gears while not pedaling so that the derailed was no lined up with the chain, knowing this he moved the pedal again so the derailleur would catch and he could sell me a tune up. I then drove 40 minutes to where I purchased the bike they also said they did not see any problems but did some adjustments anyway and test rode the bikes and assured me nothing was wrong. It is disheartening because I was planning to purchase another bike and from Precision because having a bike shop closer would be convenient but Leon is dishonest and will take advantage of a less knowledgable buyer, he also charged me 10 dollars for a 5 dollar tube. In his bitterness that I test rode there and did not buy there he lost a future customer.

I went to Precision Bicycle for the first time today to get some parts replaced on a bike I purchased from a private seller. I called ahead to get a quote and verify their current turn around. Im new to the road bike scene and have been doing a lot of research online and reading reviews about different equipment. This store had everything! All of the best name brand equipment I read about they had, and for reasonable prices too. I was pleasantly greeted at the door and a guy helped me carry my bike in asked what I needed and got right to work. In the meantime I was told about the bike riding groups they have, what other equipment I need, and what they offer. Great customer service all around. This will definitely be my go to store for all my road cycle needs.

A search found that "Precision Bike Shop" had the lowest price on the 2015 model of a higher-end aero helmet. It was 40% cheaper than most other stores. Because the design is less than a year old and the helmet is getting pretty good reviews, most stores are charging near full MSRP. The link and ended up at the Bike Closet, so at first alarm bells went up that something could be wrong here. I seemed too good to be true I found a price $120 less than the average competitor. Looking into the company further, I found that the Bike Closet has a 100% satisfactory rating on Ebay. Shipping was free, and the helmet took about a week to arrive via Smart Post.

Precsion Bicycles is truly one of the best shops in the bay area. Leon (the owner) will bend over backwards for his customers. They carry Fuji and Orbea bicycles and for those who know these brands know that they are some of the best bikes in terms of quality and price. I bought a 2008 Fuji SL-1 (Fujis top of the line carbon bike and I have to tell you that it is the best bike that I have ever ridden on). Vince in the shop is a great wrench and I would trust him with bikes any day. If you are looking for great service and a great deal you have to go to Precision Bicycles in Vacaville.

Great customer service. Clicked Chat on site to see if the bike I wanted was in stock. Received a response within 5 min. Placed my order online Friday and received tracking info a few hours later. Shipping was super fast and free. They also had the lowest price online for the bike, it arrived today and looks and rides great. Thanks!

These guys are great, knowledgeable and fair prices. Got my bike back to excellent working order after more then a couple "mishaps" on the trail. Very happy with the upgraded brake install also. Highly recommend this shop.
