DO NOT RECOMMEND NOT INTERESTED IN HELPING JUST WANT YOUR MONEY, I called ahead before I went in to see if they can help me with my bicycle tune up, a simple problem of attaching a chain should be a 10 service, and its a brand new chain, I know about bikes but I didnt have my tool to attach it. I went in and all they were interested in is getting my money. He started helping me and then turned around and asked if another customer took the deal ( chuching ) , when helping me, I explained it to him, then he says oh no its the wrong size, clearly its not, he just wants me to buy it from them, there is a piece on the end that comes on the chain, a master link,( which they didnt even mention other options of being able to use, which is possible because I have them at home ) I asked if they could just take off the link, he said no we cant do that, and when he knew i wouldnt believe him he asked the other guy to come over ( simple sales trick ) and reassure me that what he says is true, which isnt chains get readjusted, he didnt offer to sell me the tool which is 10-18 bucks. I also mentioned a screw is missing to attach the rear derailluer , which when I had called the guy mentioned to me they have the spare parts but they are not aloud to just sell it, especiall if you work on bikes, there is spare parts.. my de railluer is in perfect condition, it just needs a screw to attach to the frame, even when i came in person and asked to pay for the service to attach it to the bike, they admit with shifty eyes that they have it ! they started looking around it to see what they can get out of it and say well i cant do that unless i change the rubber cover, and everything in service will cost he tells me repeatedly of the labor cost will be this.. 40 bucks and not including parts which will be another 30 bucks. I know better than this. I took it home found my tool and I fixed it myself for free! my bike works great! they just dont want to do a 15 minute job without the customer paying as close to a hundred ! Im not a fool just because im a girl. DONT GO THERE

Its true that you want a bicycle, you can find a bicycle store to sell one to you. So if this is the case, why should Dublin Cyclery earn 5 stars? There is something that I found in abundance here and not at the other 4 locations, I shopped at previously - customer service! Yes, good old fashion customer service. You know, the kind when the people who work there listen to your needs and truly try to offer solutions that fit your lifestyle, budget, and health goals. Big box stores may save you a couple dollars but usually theres no one that can offer advice or repairs. These guys, especially Todd was of incredible help in making the decision to step up my game a little and get a hybrid bike with disc brakes. Comparing my new bike to my previous one, my average speed increased 10%+ over my same route! PROS: individual help, good selection, fair pricing, knowledgeable staff that are also bike enthusiasts, first tune up included, as well as minor adjustments ( appointments highly recommend), easy access and parking. CONS: can get busy, limited lower cost options, appointments needed but understandable. BOTTOM LINE: if you prefer to have a knowledgeable guide and not necessarily looking for the least expense route, I really recommend you at least include Dublin Cyclery when shopping for a quality bike.

Hands down the best bicycle shop in the Tri-Valley. I like to spend my money with locally owned businesses whenever possible, and these guys earn that trust every single time. The guys there are cyclists, first and foremost, and it shows. Theyre always friendly, always helpful, and never rush you or pressure you to buy anything. The mechanics there treat your bike like their own and never go outside the estimate without calling and getting your approval first. In fact, most times Ill get my bike back with extra work done at no charge, just because they value your bike and your biking experience as much as you do. I have a real hard time believing the negative reviews here because theyre so extreme and so opposite all of my experiences. Bottom line: If you love your bike, youll love Dublin Cyclery.

This is a great bike shop! The entire staff is very friendly and just as knowledgeable. They will work with you for as long as necessary to answer any questions you may have. They stock a lot of really great bikes, from road to hybrid to mountain, and whatever they dont stock they can order. I spent two and a half hours test driving different bikes to narrow down the perfect bike for me. The price was more than fair, too. I highly recommend them for service, as well as your next bicycle.

Not sure where some of these negative reviews are coming from, but I think this place is great. I bought my first (and only) 29er here, and all of the repairs/maintenance thereafter were worth the money. Now this place can be a bit expensive at times (maintenance), but in terms of price to quality, its unbeatable. The staff is friendly, and one guy once helped me readjust my shifter line for free! You should help out this local business and definitely make your next purchase here.

Dublin Cyclery is the only shop I go to when I am home in California (a few times a year). I bought my first road bike there and have since ordered parts, had repairs, and gotten bargain prices on most of it. While the selection on hand might not be huge (especially in clothes/additional parts like saddles, handlebars, etc.) the staff will happily order things in for you. I plan on buying a mountain bike from them when I eventually move back to California.

Great group of guys and gal in the shop. They know me by name. Every time I walk in the ask about me or my kids or my husband. Theyre more than just sales guys and repair guys, theyve become friends and important members of our cycling community. They are very active in Dublin as a whole. For the St Pats fun run they open up their bathroom to runners before the race and they lead the runners through the course.

Just wanted two department store bikes tuned up and made sure there safe before Santa gave them to my kids for xmas. They wanted 75 bucks for each bike, when they were already built. I could understand 75 for the both, but each for what i know is about an hour of work. They were courteous and friendly, but obviously didnt want to build a relationship with a local consumer. The wife and i will now need bikes...
