I will never shop here again, even for something small, just out of principle. I usually go to the one in Chula Vista, because its closer to Coronado, but I decided to drive to this one because they had a wider selection of TVs. They had a few LCDs on sale that I was really interested in. Cant really comment on customer service at the store, because I knew what I wanted, but the rest of the process has been a nightmare. First off, they made me check out in their high end "Magnolia" store. I was left waiting for over 15 minutes, despite the fact that I was placing an order to be delivered, and the clerk knew they had the TV in stock. I paced around, and finally got started on checking out. When we got to the end, the clerk gave me the date for delivery...nearly three weeks later! What is going on that they cant bring me a TV that they have in stock, for a full three weeks? I signed up for delivery, paid, and left. Well, today was the day of delivery. The TV was supposed to be delivered between between 8am and noon, but its almost 2:30 and so far no delivery. I started calling at 11:30am to find out what was going on, but I got stuck in the most irritating loop! Id sit on hold for 20 minutes or so, finally get through to someone, but put back on hold and transferred to another employee in the Magnolia department, transferred back on hold then to someone else in the regular store, who couldnt help me because my order was placed in their Magnolia department. I would end up being forced to leave my phone number so someone could "call back" in ten minutes. Nobody ever called. Id wait till 20 minutes or so had passed, then call back and go through the entire process again. Ive wasted a whole day sitting here, waiting for this TV, and for customer service that clearly doesnt exist. My husband plans on buying a really nice TV when he gets back from overseas, but we will NOT be going here to do it. I wont even stop in to buy a pack of gum there anymore. Best Buy as a company would do a lot better if this store was just shut down. Its a waste of space, frustrating, and a total drain on customers. Never again. Im telling everyone I know not to shop here either. If I could get my money back and buy my TV elsewhere, I would. Hell, Id pay MORE for the same TV somewhere else, if it meant real customer service. Nobody here cares about you. Dont waste your time and energy.

This is my second review after a year. Read below paragraph. My old laptop crashed and I thought I just buy a laptop at Best Buy and move on. How bad can it be? Took for ever to get help and then they read me off the label, which I have read myself, flowed by an instant push to buy and add on this and that. Got the laptop, set it up, crancked 4 hours off work and the next day, the thing crashed...happens..I get it !...nevertheless, frustrating. I returned it and not only are they under staffed at returns [as usual] but also a horrible additute as if the worked for the local Post Office. Employee looked like she was parading behind the counter, slinging hair around, looking at her nails, not calling for help and giving everyone the fake Cooperate politeness just so rhat they can claim fake politeness with zero effort to resolve anything I tried to explain the situation and was confronted with more ahhs and pufffsss under the nose as if I asked her to take the trash out. its just bad. I am done trying support local business and if they match Amazon pricing -why not just buy everything from Amazon. I will save myself the attidtude and have less stress returning my stuff. Supporting local anything has become just about impossible to me. The store manager is about as useless and rude as it gets (from last experience), hence I didnt even talk to him. Perhaps they need a little paradigm shift on management level. I have no issue putting.a few extra bucks toward the locals if met with respect towards me as a human being and as someone who walks in with money to keep them a float... sad, sad ,sad Worst service I have seen in 20 + years of shopping Best Buy. Not giving a s... about the customer was brought up to a new level. Including management. Ignorant, rude, entitled, under educated about product, over 1/2 of displays dont work. The get upset if you dont buy and walk away from you. I am amazed. Used to be such a great place to shop

I usually have enjoyed giving my business to best buy but this store has definitely ruined my desire to ever do business with them again.. I was buying a 55" TV and was upsold to a 65" nicer TV that was an "open box" special. I was told the TV had been gone through and was "practically new" but did not come with the box and that the customer who had returned it had done so because "they probably had decided that it was too expensive of a TV for them". Either way I bought the 5 year geek squad warranty since I was told that if I ever had an issue or if there was a defect with the TV they would bring the exact same TV out to me from the store and swap it out at no extra charge. Unfortunately, this store does not stand behind its promises... The TV was delivered and installed by the best buy techs but when we turned it on to watch a movie that evening, there were bright green pixels glowing in the middle of the screen which was an obvious defect.. I called the manager to get it resolved, he told me that I needed to call LG since they manufactured the TV. I called LG and they told me usually the store deals with this type of thing but told me to contact a local business they work with to have it checked out. I emailed the local business as instructed, and never received a response... I called back geek squad at the store and they told me that they would finally send someone out to swap out the TV. Geek squad called today before the scheduled swap out and told me they cannot swap out the TV and I need to speak with the store manager again... I cannot believe how bad I was treated after buying the best warranty they offer and spending way more money than I had planned on. Terrible buying experience and an incredible waste of time! Never give this store your time or money because you will greatly regret it!!

When I needed electronics I would always go to best buy. This time it turned out to be WORST BUY and I dont even know if they will ever be my choice again. Why?! Because of one prepaid att card $30. Had the need to use a prepaid phone for some days. Went in best buy asked for a Sim card and a prepaid att card paid for both. The sim card was not working on my phone. Tried two times. It did not work. The guy working there was helpful but in the end did not work. Now I have a Sim card of no use and an UNUSED prepaid card. Sure enough I tell them I cant use them so here please take it back with out leaving the premises because have to go in a meeting. They tell me I cant return it. I was shocked, why?! Because of their policy. Now I repeat THEY ARE NOT USED AT ALL. The sim card just doesnt work on my phone for whatever reason and have nooo need for this product. The clerk tried and gave me refund on the sim card $10 something) but not on the prepaid card which is $30. Shocking!!! Now, I understand if I left the store and activated it they it would make sense not to give refund because has been used. BUT I never did leave the store and the card HAS NOT been used or activated. Yet there is no refund and I am stuck with the prepaid card that I cant use in anyway. I know its only $30. Maybe its not much for best buy or at&t, but is a lot for those of us who work many hours to earn it. I feel cheated and tricked right in front of my face with this kind of service. Folks make sure you read the policy (because thats what they excuse was) or ask a lot of f**** questions about the return policy before you buy anything from this place called WORST BUY. I say this because my experience with them today it was THE WORST.
