I helped put this store together. I was there to stock it and see it open back in 2005. What I didnt know was that everyone there knew I suffered from acute depression. What I didnt know was that beyond that I was misdiagnosed by some MORON so-called "mental health" expert as suffering from unfounded paranoia. Everyday I worked there I was asked "how do you feel", and exposed to actor-employee after actor-employee. This particular Barnes and Noble is a "flagship" store. Meaning its more or less a clearing house for potential career B&N employees. If youre a prospective employee (read that as manager in training), or someone with some "issues" and youre assigned to this store, then WATCH OUT! Youll get exposed to the mistocked religion section which was swapped with the computer section, or the smell in the stock room seeping from the wall (in actuality a stink bomb), or the mistocked book carts, or the actor manager pretending to steal from the till, or the receiving employee pretending to embezzle books. As a customer, there sheer size and selection should impress. As an employee, or mental health patient, its a piece of slop artist work. Avoid working there. Go to enjoy the store as a customer.

I actually used to work here so of course Im going to leave a good review but everything I say is true! They have an amazing selection! I can always find lots of books I like no matter what kind of subjects or genres Im looking for. Everyone working there is super nice! I went in there today looking for a Japanese English dictionary for a class Im taking and found a nice Japanese dialogue book that comes with a cd that Im very pleased with. The cafe is also a nice touch because its a good place to meet up with friends and look through books youve bought while having some tea or something. Its just nice to be there :)

One of the better options for music and movies and books in the Peninsula. They have a decent vinyl selection and great prices on cds that are shocking at times. Its a must to stop in if I am in the area. The Starbucks is not a real Starbucks, somehow? Get your membership card, its worth the 25 dollars per year if you sign up. Online and in store discounts plus shipping being paid on some online buys adds up to 25 bucks in one or two purchased online visits for me. Security is a handled by a wonderful man, gentleman is he, and a hello and goodbye for all that shop the store.

Yes they have huge selections, great atmosphere but sucks with customer service .... Long, long line and I am not exaggerating with just 1 cashier (!!?) There was 3 women who were just talking and looking at a receipt tape .....

The staff are the knockout feature of this store just in front of the wide and thorough selection of books. Plus they have also great staff at the internal starbucks. My favourite bookshop that I have been to FULL STOP

This location is smaller than most barnes and noble. It would not be my first choice to go unless I just need to grab a book there thats in stock only at that location.

Its amazing. There are magazines, books of all kind, DVDs, CDs, toys... There is even a Starbucks if you would like a drink or a treat. I really recommend it.
