I used the Internet to shop for IDWs John Romita Amazing Spider-Man Artifact Edition. Two Cats Comic Book Store by far had the best price I could locate. In fact, they were over 20% better than the dealer with whom I usually place orders for books of that price/value. I placed my order via the Two Cats website early on May 1 2015, a Friday. My PayPal account showed a deduction later that same day. However, the next communication I had from Two Cats was on May 7 when in checking my account on their website it showed the order was "In Preparation". I phoned the store directly on May 12 to inquire about the situation -- eight business days after my order. I was told by the female clerk that "it takes time to get orders ready". My thought was, if it takes that long perhaps Two Cats should not offer Internet sales. The next day, May 13, my account showed that the book had shipped. However, I never received an email in confirmation, no tracking number, etc. I had asked the clerk the previous day how the package would be shipped -- she stammered around and finally concluded that it must be through the U.S. Postal Service. Needless to say, I had no confidence that a) the package had truly been shipped, and b) it would arrive safely (the latter statement is no reflection on the USPS, who Ive used 100s of times for eBay business). The book arrived today, May 19 -- 18 days after my order. To say I am disgruntled at the time it took to receive such a costly book would be an understatement. When I have purchased Artist Editions from other dealers, they have come in large boxes with several cubic feet of static-free packing peanuts cradling the books outer boxes. Not so here. My book was in its storage box, and then a makeshift box of corrugated cardboard was wrapped around that. Thats it -- no liner, no cushioning, nothing. Obviously the books storage box is dinged up on all four corners. The book itself is fine, although Im not convinced that part of the delay was due to the employees perusing it over a week-and-a-halfs time. Lets just say the spine didnt creak when I first opened the book. So while other reviews for Two Cats seem positive in terms of the in-store experience, I will not place any future orders via the web, regardless of the price. In retrospect, Id rather have paid retail price for my book but gotten it in 3-4 days. Live and learn, I guess.

They sell magic the gathering cards and have singles and I just wanted to know if they had a card so that I would not have to drive over there for nothing, but the girl that answered refused to look for a card I needed, even though I have the name, the color, the set, and the rarity of the card. She said it would ""take her to long" and the owner then got on the phone assuming I wanted commons and uncommons, I told him that was not the case and he said they have two mythic rares in the store... I dont I know.. I think most of your employees should at least be capable of finding a card its not that hard and doesnt take take to long. The owner did recommend other stores to get MTG cards from so I wont give them a 1 star however I am not pleased with the service.

Find what you want without knowing what youre looking for. This is the new benchmark for Comic Book stores. Neat, tidy, easy to browse and expansive in a way a store ten times its size couldnt hope to be. They ordered a few hard to find issues, cheerfully, made new customers feel welcome and were proud of their hard work. Online sellers should be worried: this store gives the customer value and selection with and experience that is impossible to duplicate over the internet.

Friendly "neighborhood comic shop". Great for new issues and trade paperbacks. Not good for past issues that you need for your collection. Luckily they also have Magic: the Gathering. But same thing as comics, just new packs/decks, no past awesome cards, but they DO host FNM. Cool section of figures, but no Hero Clix in stock.

Awesome comic book store! The woman running the counter was knowledgeable and pleasant. The customers were having rousing conversations on child-rearing and whether Tony Stark or Matt Murdock got more women. The shop was clean, well lit, and nicely stocked.

The place is small, but its beautiful. Staff is helpful and friendly, and they keep a cool choice collection of items on hand. A great venue for some games of Magic: the Gathering as well. Did my first ever prerelease here and it was a great time.

A tiny little comic shop with an excellent selection of graphic novels! They carry the standard DC / Marvel stuff, too, but the focus is on singular works of art and literature. Not a bad selection of geeky toys and novelty tees, either.

Fantastic place to buy and learn about comics and pop culture. The staff is super helpful. They do a subscription service and have book clubs. Also very inclusive of ladies which is always a huge plus at comic shops. Love this place!
