Well organized, somewhat random but legitimate selection, in an older style, medium sized (deceptively extensive) bookshop. Proprietors worth conversing with. I always find some treasure. If youre really into books, you should be able to find something, and its a nice place to duck out of the Portland boardwalk, chill out, and meander through stuff.

A rather chaotic little bookstore filled with older editions. A generous selection of biographies, large sections of US and Pacific Northwest history, as well as some plays, some general fiction, and a smattering of specialty genres. This place is run by friendly people, and the prices are reasonable.

Made a great discovery today on Hawthorne Boulevard- Hawthorne Boulevard books. He has a great collection of hardbacks and some collectibles. Its a fun bookstore with lots of character. If you love books and on Hawthorne Boulevard its a must see.
