Im updating the post below below today (Tuesday 04/26/16) I had an opportunity to meet with the General Sales Manager, Harut Karapetyan, about my initial experience described below. Harut sat down with me while I reviewed the timeline and narrative of what happened. He was sincerely concerned about the sales techniques and the add-on charges that seemed to be promised as part of my initial deal. He offered reasonable resolutions to the overcharges and I think will sincerely integrate some of my suggestions to make car buying a more straight forward experience for future customers. Im leaving the original post below because I think its important to see there was an initial experience that caused me a few days of misery and grief. I would give them another chance when I buy another car but I certainly would remember to be really firm about my boundaries when I want to leave. *********************************************************************** Wow what a deceptive, fraudulent experience I had with the sales manager "Rez". I went in to test drive a car on Saturday 04/23/16) and was greeted nicely by a young salesman David who took me to the "internet contact" for the dealership. The story is long but the visit was almost 6 hours......they will break you down, hold you hostage in a room while they continually make promises and deals and then when you get to Finance you are so beat down you just sign anything to get out of there (my bad---I own it!). Later you review the documents closer to find out that the rock-bottom pricing they gave me was "list price", the throw- ins for HondaCare service and GAP appear on your contract as $700+ charges and they have done nothing to rectify this. I had a friend who heard the same promises while we were in the "room" and Im astounded that I was part of this deceitful transaction.........Stay away , this really is criminal what Rez promised and what he ultimately delivered.....Dont let them deceive you by talking monthly payment prices rather than you net cost pricing!!! I am so disappointed and upset about my experience there!!!

Ive gone to Honda of Hollywood for vehicle service sporadically since purchasing my new 2005 Element from another dealership. This decision due to a history a questionable "recommended" repairs that in fact were not needed. I am familiar with engine "basics"; I did not challenge the recommendations, but simply made mental note not to bring my vehicle back (as is my habit) for regular service - every 06 months. I will also add - none of the recommended "repairs" were ever required - my vehicle is now nearly 16 years old. I write this review as follow up to my experience today. There is a "recall" repair needed to address a flaw with the airbag. While there I decided to replace two damaged turn signal reflectors. I purchased the parts, and informed the Service Advisor - Javier Sanchez - that I am willing to pay labor cost for the install. When he quoted the cost - I expressed surprise - but still approved. I received a follow up call from Javier via voicemail that my vehicle is ready for pick up, he also informed me the bulbs within the reflector lenses werent going to last much longer (less than $3.00 a piece) - and took the initiative to replace them - along with a slight reduction in labor cost fee! Impressive. This positive experience is most reassuring. 1. Service Advisor - Javier Sanchez - is an asset to Honda of Hollywood for his "honest" professionalism 2. Perhaps - this represents a wiser, smarter approach to both honest customer/ vehicle repair service, and the recognized value of repeat business at Honda of Hollywood? Bravo.

I have previously leased 5 Honda vehicles, for myself and family members, over time, in Florida, where I live. My 20-something year old daughter, is alone in LA, and needed to trade her old, 71,000 mile sedan in. I naturally thought of a Honda. My friend has a car lot in Fl. and he negotiated, long distance, an exact model, color ExL 1.5T civic, with leather, sunroof, nav, etc.with an exact lease payment.Instead, when she went in for them to appraise her car and asked for the salesman, by name, and explained that my friend had made this deal,They said "Craig Who".They acted like no deal had ever been made and never heard of my friend, and had her start test driving cars. They sold her a Ex-T with cloth and manual adjust seats, plus, did not do what they said they would do, regarding giving her cash back for her trade-in.They were suppose to cut a check back for her car trade-in. Once, this came to my attention, my car dealer friend called and spoke with the General Manager, Ike, who said that he would "fix it". 7 unanswered calls, later, we have given up on expecting them to honor their commitments, even though, Ike said he would find a solution. My daughter was in tears and couldnt sleep for days due to the miss- representation and high pressure sales tactics. This is an example of why car salesman have the reputation that they do, taking advantage of a young woman, and not living up to their promises. Be wary of this dealership and dont trust them. Buyer Beware.

Called in and ordered a little bottle of touch-up paint yesterday. The guy asked for my VIN, said they were out of stock but theyd order it. He told me to come in after 10am today. He took my name and phone number down. So I go over today on my lunch break. While crossing the parking lot the sales guys start YELLING at me to come buy a car. Now, Im already in there, heading into the door, and theyre making sure to give me an unpleasant experience. I go to the Parts counter where a group of five guys hanging out there stare at me in disbelief as I recount my story and they maintain there is no record. No orders have been placed "since July." Its November! They ask my name, my number, if I gave a VIN, who I talked to (to which I replied that they dont answer the phone by giving their names), exactly when I called, what number I called, am I at the right place... Saying everything other than, "Oh sorry sir, apparently someone lost your order, please let us make it up to you." Ive been to this dealership off and on for years. Had them service a car and a motorcycle. Bought plenty of accessories. Even brought a friend over to buy himself a motorcycle. So I shook my head, told them Id been a customer of theirs for years, but I guessed I wouldnt come back again. They said nothing, so I left. Extremely unprofessional, and lack of customer service. I meant it, I wont be back again.

Honda dealership is great. But when it comes to the actual corporation they have no value for the customer. I got a 2016 Honda Civic fully equipped and I took my brother as well and got the same car as me , so technically we bought two at the same time and within the 3rd moth my car Started to get system errors , brake system problem, abs system problem , anti-lock braking system problem, tire pressure monitor system problem and much more. I took in the shop I would say 7 -8 times and was at the shop of total of 35 days at the shop and the problem was still there. So I called Honda corporation and made a claim. The gentlemen that took my case did not call me back or anything. So I got an Atterney because I didnt know what else to do. I was missing work couldnt take my son too school. Its been almost 7 moths and Honda still giving a hard time.I trade in my previous car I was down $4,000 and I was fine with it because I though I was getting a better car. Till today with down payment and car payments Ive put close to $10,000 and Honda is just trying to give me $4,000 back. This was my first new car and gave me the worse first car experience. So if you get a car from Honda just make sure its not a lemon because I assure you they wont treat you the same way as if you where a new customer. I would never get a Honda car ever again.
