So I started my second car buying experience with Drivetime on Saturday July 30th 2016. I entered the building which was amazingly clean, easy feeling (no pressure like most dealerships) and was greeted immediately by Charles, as well as numerous other staff at the dealership! They were friendly and relatable and didnt jump all over me like I was an opportunity to make a sale. Instead it was like walking into a friends place and everyone at the party said "Hey!" So, having been a previous buyer with Drivetime (2008) and having paid off my vehicle I purchased then, I was somewhat familiar with the process, but in 8 years they have way amped up their systems and their approach to be very friendly and VERY VERY easy to buy. I wont list the entire process, but suffice if to say it is smooth, no haggle, cut and dry and very simple. Heres the cars you qualify for, heres the prices of the cars, heres the monthly (bi-weekly) payment you will be responsible for, and whammo...heres your keys! Enjoy and congratulations! Its that simple folks. I wanted a specific vehicle but the down was too high for my budget. The dealerships GM, the salesperson Charles, and the entire team were able to make it happen for me (granted it is a perk of becoming a Drivetime CHAMP - having paid off a vehicle through their program previously) but I think that the folks at the dealership will do everything they can to make sure you are happy with your selection of a vehicle. Charles even drove, with me alongside, to another Drivetime dealership 1 hour and 15 minutes out of the way to find a different vehicle for me to test drive. Although I didnt end up with that vehicle, I was never made to feel like it was any sort of imposition at all. They are that friendly!!! I came back on Monday evening to complete my purchase and make my down payment etc. and was helped by Brianna and Brian. Both of these guys were amazing! Both were friendly, easy to converse with and neither of them made me feel like I was being pushed into anything. They joked with me, kept me in the loop when they had to step away to print my contract and prepare paperwork etc. They even laughed and related to my corny jokes... All in all, I will never buy another car anywhere but Drivetime. Ive had nothing but excellent experiences, easy financing and great interactions with good quality cars on the lot! Thank you to Charles, Brianna and Brian for getting me in my new SUV and to the GM (sorry, I never got your name) for helping with my down payment! You guys all rock!

I recently bought a car from them this would be my first time ever buying a car I dont have any family or anyone that couldve helped me so I depended on them to give me all the info I needed which now I see was a big mistake...I am more angry at myself because the employees were so nice, understanding and accommodating it blinded me and now I feel completely taken advantage of once I got the car literally two days after the check engine light came on and it was taken care of because I had just bought the car but the mechanic told me I should have bought a different car because although this one has no recalls there are soooo many recurring expensive problems with the engine....and here I am 4 months later and again a problem with the engine that I cannot afford to fix...I know that the engine is not their fault but once the mechanic told me to look it up there were so many consumer reviews and pages full of people talking about the terrible engines in these cars I have kids and I trusted them I even told the man who helped me how much anxiety I had about getting a car and it having so many problems that I couldnt afford to fix and he assured me that wasnt the case with this one how can they assure you if they dont even know what theyre talking about I could never do something like that just to get some commission as much as it was my fault for not knowing the proper way to go about buying a car it was theirs for taking advantage of me...so here I am with a car I cant afford to fix and a 400 dollar payment 150 dollar insurance and taking the bus with my kids again

Dont believe the good reviews they make you write a good review while you purchase a car so they can look good.I told susan I didnt want a certain coverage added to my purchase but she kept saying trust me its only 3 dollars more no thats not the case it cost an extra 750 added to the loan which I did not need thanks to her now im stuck trying to resolve this then she made me write a good review I told her my phone is dead oh no worries she brought a charger to make sure I write that last review this will be my last time doing business with drivetime or the new name bridgecrest!! It was horrible company sucks, they wont even give me a refund for somthing I didnt want in the first place 4 months passed and nothing so I had to resend paper work and they told me to wait 4 to 6 weeks 3 months later and still nothing I call almost every week and they tell me its in process just wait a little longer but nothing so far. This company works in a horrible way customer service sucks I had to speak to a corporate manager just so I can get my refund before that they were saying sorry but there is nothing that can be done we never got the paper work too bad

Part 2...Today 8-2-2016 and still no refund check ..corporate doesnt know when they send my check car dealership also dont know when im getting check.. Folks im Tell you what your refund always use a credit card so they could refund the same day..I made that mistake should have used my credit card .. Corporate told they cant do nothing i ask them all i want to know when did my refund sent out. And he keep repeating himself call the dealership with 48hrs nothing they can do.. Somebody have to know where is it. Drivetime is a scam they over charge people because they are desperate to buy a car. The Toyota i was going to buy it smelled had 100000 mile for $20000 i made a down payment of 179.00 but the last minute i have change my mind now refund is going to take 7 to 10 business day they will use up the all 10 days. They will keep your money as long they can. I purchase a brand new 2016 Toyota at downtown l.a. ca with no money down. Be patient people and you will get the car. Dont get tricked by drivetime not worth your time and money.

If I could give negative stars I would..before I purchased a car from this place everyone was polite and helpful. I was even offered a pickup from my job in West LA. Although I new it was all an act to get me to buy, it was nice. But 3 months after I purchased the car I received a total different kind of treatment. I had to call multiple times to get my registration and license plates.. I received the registration, but not the plates. I would call time after time but was put on hold for 30 minutes at a time. I was told the manager wasnt there and that I would receive a callback I would never get it. But when I would call and get the manager, I was promised a resolution but never received it. I even got the silent uninterested treatment from the manager. And after multiple attempts to get my plates I was to that I would have to take off work and go wait at the DWV to get my plates.. Dont waste your Time with Drive Time should be their new slogan. I dont regret the car.. but I only regret getting it from them...
