For many, the experience of buying of a New Car evokes a wide range of emotions ranging from being overwhelmed, to ecstatic! Then there’s the experience of buying a used car, unsure of what you’ll end up with, what the Dealership experience will be like, etc. Well, I can tell you that my experience in purchasing Used Cars have been fairly consistent, and positive, provided that you’ve done your homework, don’t get emotionally attached to a particular car you see, and be ready to walk away from any deal. My approach is very straight forward. I let them know up front that I am prepared to walk away from any deal I think is going now where, and I want to be driving away in under 2hrs from the time I test drive to when I get the keys to go home. So get your finance guys and decision makers now to discuss Terms. Over the weekend, reality (and my wife) made it clear to me that it was time for me to say goodbye to my 1999 Jaguar XK8 and trade it in. I wanted another Jaguar XK, so the search of a reputable dealership began. That’s when I came across Motor Team, Inc. in Hayward, CA that had a 2007 Blue Convertible Jag XK. Research showed some positive reviews, Better Business reports looked well, and other sources that I have at my disposal proved favorable as well. Signs of a Good Dealership When you drive up to a dealership, you can expect to be greeted in a fairly timely manner. That’s a positive sign. If they continue to hover around you like a stray puppy and asking you 21 questions like you’re on a 1st date, that’s not a good sign! Our experience at Motor Team, Inc. was the exact opposite. Yes, they came out to the lot and greeted us, asked if they could help, and then physically gave us room to look around without any further questions. That my friends is a sign of a GREAT Dealership that knows how to let the Customer absorb their environment, let their mind process what they are about to enter into, and process the sights, sounds and smell of the Car Buying experience. When we identified the car we wanted to talk about, the sales man came up said “Hey, would you like to test drive it” without asking anything else. I looked at him puzzled, waiting for the heavy sales pitch, so I asked him if he needed anything from me. His response “The car will either sale itself or it won’t, I don’t have anything to add to that until you get back.” Yes my friends, this is another good sign of a Great Dealership. So we took a ride for a while mind you, just my wife and I…No sales man in the back seat chatting your ears off! (Another Good Sign). Then we took the next step and that’s when we met Sam! I had read the favorable reviews about Sam and I was eager to see who this guy was. True enough, he was very plesant, engaging, but without the endless sales pitch banter. No pushing for things that I didn’t want or need. On top of that we worked out a great deal that we both came out feeling that it was a Win-Win and no one feeling they were taken advantage of or short changed. Not only that, we were finished in under 2hrs!!!! With all that being said, I would highly recommend Motor Team, Inc as a destination point if you’re looking for good quality used cars, low miles higher end vehicles.

Motor Team staff and manager and the sales person are very professional. When my wife and I are looking for Lexus car, we got a Lexus 460 2007 model with only 27,000 miles on it and we got it for $ 38,000 ! It looks and drive like brand new. We have compared to various companies before we decided to get this car. We got your car registration within 5 days from the DMV ! Wow ! The manager Mr Omar Baber and the sales person Sam and his other sales person Emran are very nice and professional. It has been a pleasant experience with them. Since then, I have recommended our friend to purchase a Lexus from them and she is very impressed by their service as well. At first we were scared that this small dealership might scam us but it turned out this company is a great company. I will not hesitate to recommend anybody to look at their cars. They really have great luxury car with a great price ! Their service and attitude is superb ! I am going to buyer another car for my daughter soon. great place, so friendly and helpful, the sales person "ishmael" help us a lot, they dont put pressure on buying a car like other dealers do, we just came back the day after our visit to buy our minivan cause we didnt find any place better whit those prices we have to got back.... Omar "sales manager" explain to me some parts of the contract i didnt understand so thank you to all off you guys for the good experience.
