Excellent all around. Heres some background/summary to my car buying experience: Im a new early professional to the bay area. Moved here for work and Ive had my old Altima for 9 years. My last car buying experience was terrible, even if I was just going in for a test drive, the sales people inside were like vultures. Starved vultures at that. Therefore, I was a bit hesitant going to a BMW dealership of all places because I honestly expected high-end vultures. The complete opposite was true. The dealership was warm (no pun intended to the sun), welcoming, and above all else: friendly. It should be noted that their job is to sell and I understand some form of firmness, but nobody likes it when youre so aggressive that you push your customers away. BMW of Fremont has the perfect sales environment in my opinion. My experience: As stated, Im an early professional and so my budget is definitely not limitless. My immediate concern was that, rather than trying to help me, the salespeople were going to try to upsell me to a car that I cant even afford. When I walked into the dealership, I was approached by Hadi Rafie. What captured me the most is that Hadi didnt start by telling me about latest promotions or offers that were going to be out of my price range either way. He simply started with "What do you want to get out of the car? Whats important to you?". I explained what I was looking for along with what I expected in terms of monthly payments. We started looking through cars until I eventually found one that I was happy with and decided to pull the trigger. I had originally driven to the dealership in a rental car and I was concerned about returning it because I cant drive two cars at the same time of course. Hadi offered to take me to drop off the rental at the nearby Hertz and bring me back to the dealership so that I can leave in my new BMW. Thats just one example of excellent customer service. Call me jaded, but I thought that if the vulture didnt come out in the salesman, it might come out in the finance manager. Yet again, I was proven wrong. Shadi Saod was the finance manager who assisted me and he was nothing short of amazing. Shadi took me through all of the necessary paperwork without making it as dreadful as it normally would be. He is very personable and sociable. We were able to have an awesome conversation about culture, food, travel, and all of the other more enjoyable aspects of life that are better than filling out paperwork. The conversation took place all while he completed the paperwork. He was able to make the process enjoyable while not wasting any time. The last car buying experience I had was basically like watching paint dry when it came to the financials. Again, just like my experience when choosing the car, Shadi didnt try to push me away when showing me the different warranty options I can add at the time so that I can include it in my monthly payment. He made sure that my needs were met in terms of protecting my new car all while staying within my range for my monthly payment. Overall, I highly recommend BMW of Fremont. Im glad that they treated me the way they did and Im even more glad at the fact that now I have a place I can take my new BMW to get serviced. Update: I went back for my technology overview on the car. I honestly thought at first that it was a little weird to have to go back for a technology course on a car. However, its amazing the amount of technology that goes into this car. Marvin Truong was the tech expert who helped me out and he was awesome. Very knowledgeable, very friendly, and more than that very helpful. I expressed a concern I had that the car didnt come with plastic floor mats being that its a luxury car. Thats something that has nothing to do with Marvin. Marvin took me to one of the managers here named Andy (didnt get his last name) to help out. Andy, with no hesitation, provided me with the floor mats for free! I definitely was not expecting that from a dealership. I left more knowledgeable than I came in, and with new floor mats!

I was in the market for a used 2011 E90 BMW M3 sedan. There were less than 10,000 of the vehicle model ever sold in this country, so finding one with low mileage and in excellent condition really took me some time. I live in Southern California, where I could only find a single over-priced M3 over the course of 5 months, and it was only BMW of Fremont that had the right vehicle. I immediately got in touch with Ricardo Martin at BMW of Fremont, who obliged me with plenty of vehicle pictures and vehicle history as soon as the vehicle became available for sale. Talking with Ricardo, was in my opinion a very pleasant and professional experience. I have dealt with salesmen while buying used cars and new cars at dealerships in California before, only to have the "80s car salesmen experience". This was a worry-free purchase process. Both of us knew what the car was all about, and it was easy to get information to pointed questions. Ricardo was very helpful during the purchase process. When I told him that my work wouldnt allow me to travel on a week-day to pick up the car - he worked with me to allow me time so I could fly in on the weekend and drive the car back to San Diego. He even checked up on me on Sunday to make sure I got back safe and sound. Wow! During the course of my purchase process I was also in touch with Walled Asefi, who is equally passionate about these performance vehicles and knows the cars inside out.. He helped pick me up from the airport and drove me back to the dealership - and spent the time talking about M cars. We took a "test-drive" before I signed on the dotted line. As I was about to leave the lot, Walled then patiently set me up with every feature on the iDrive (which I wasnt too familiar with at that time) - from music, to Navigation, to seats, and general setting. Most importantly Wally also gave me a can of 10W60 engine oil for my drive back (since the M V8s are oil thirsty) - this really helped me when the engine oil warning light came on when I was driving down on the I-5. I really appreciate your foresight, and it shows that you went above and beyond the sale of the car. Even dealing with the finance was a pleasant experience. I was made aware of all the add-on warranty options so that I could be aware of it, but if I said "no Im not interested" we moved on. All in all I had a wonderful and positive experience dealing with the highly passionate, knowledgeable and caring folks at BMW of Fremont. If you want a new/used car and if you are in the Bay area -or- even outside of it like I was - its worth your time and money to pay them a visit. And make sure you ask for Wally or Ricardo because Im the proud owner of a very special and fabulous used M3!

I recently purchased a new BMW M4 from a dealership further north in California. I live in the South Bay, so I wanted to find a BMW dealership closer to me, as well as build a reputation and overal rapport. Initially I went to Stevens Creek BMW to check them out. Long story short, I was absolutely mortified by the level of unprofessionalism and overal lack of customer service. I was referred to BMW of Fremont by a coworker so I took a shot at that. I was/am EXPONENTIALLY pleased and happy with my decision in taking it to Fremont BMW! Upon arrival at Fremont BMW, I was immediately greeted and taken to the internal service team to get checked in. There, I met with a gentlemen named Nick Lal. Nick was hands down the BEST and MOST INFORMED management tech I have ever had the privledge of working with. He is extremely knowledgeable and gave me what I feel is the most valuable thing anyone in the auto industry can give a customer; HONESTY. Given the fact that this was my first time owning a BMW (a new one at that), as well as my first time dealing with a dealership in general, I was (and still identify as so) new to the whole process. I had several questions, many of which I was hesitant to ask given my lack of experience within this realm in addition to my horrible experience at Stevens Creek. When I began talking to Nick, he gave me honest and realistic feedback amongst a multitude of other positivity he displayed. I was able to understand the fundamentals of what I should expect, keep an eye for, and continue to monitor when it comes to my M4. Furthermore, nick went above and beyond by introducing me to a couple of the service men who would be working on my car and really went the extra mile to ensure I was at ease, and that all of my questions/concerns were addressed before leaving my car in their hands. I absolutely plan to continue to bring my BMW to Nick and the amazing staff at BMW of Fremont. In addition, I have also set up briging my girlfriends BMW to Fremont as well because of the outstanding and amazing experience I was so fortunate to receive (she lives in San Mateo so you can imagine just how "awed" I was to convince her to bring her BMW all the way to Nick and the Fremont BMW team!). I absolutely recommend anyone in the Bay Area to bring their BMW vehicle here to get serviced; I dont plan to EVER go anywhere else moving forward! :)
