It is amazing how a dealership can be so poorly managed. I communicated both verbally and through over 35 emails with this dealership. I visited the dealership twice, confirmed the deal, went to my bank and got cashiers check and confirmed again about my appointment. The day of the appointment I called, then emailed and informed the salesperson of my time of my arrival. The sales manager called me and said that when I arrived he would like to meet me. When I arrived, exactly on time, I told them who I was and that I had a meeting with Clarke as 10:45 this morning. The front desk person said that Clarke was not in today! I mentioned that I just spoke to him and he is here now. This should have given me some insight to how this was going to play out. They found Clark and he started filling out forms for 5 to 10 minutes then took them to the sales manager who then inspected the documents. After waiting over 15 minutes I went to see the sales manager and mentioned that I have been here for 30 plus minutes and said to me, "I cannot be rushed in completing this transaction, he then gave it to another person to fill out while I waited again. This person inputted into the computer and asked why this was not done in advance, I replied, that was my question. Then the sales manager brought the paperwork over to the F&I manager on the other side of the building who then looked at the paperwork. Remember I am paying by certified check and have sent many emails previously! The F&I manager while I am still waiting now almost an hour and a half came back and said he cannot do the deal because the salesperson did not research this and did the deal wrong. Now almost 2 hours later I said if you cannot do the deal that we have discussed for over 3 weeks and after over 35 emails then give me the check back and I will leave. There is more to the story but why get into details. BTW, I have been in the automotive business since 1985 and have NEVER GONE THROUGH THIS BEFORE. JUST BAD COMMUNICATIONS and no one even said they were sorry. A deal like this I do in 20 minutes start to finish!

Came in a year ago to buy a 15 Camaro for my wife through the Costco program. After setting up an appointment with a sales person my wife and I came in. To my surprise he blew us off!!?? Said he was to busy to spend time with us test driving a car and going over special order options..What?! Long story short, I straightened him out real quick!! (This is one guy whos feathers you dont want to ruffle, specially when it comes to family) after a long and what I felt was a heart full apologie from the sales persson, the buying process was great..no hassle and no crap, everything was buy the book and straight forward. My wife wanted 3 things. A Black metallic Camaro with an automatic transmission and a 6 cylinder. :( fortunately the automatics come with paddle shift so I wasnt too bummed out. I told her that she would get the the color and trans..but hell no to the 6 cyl!! I told her to trust me and let me do the rest. #1. I got the 2SS/RS package ( which comes with leather seats, bigger Brembo disc brakes, bigger rear wheels and center console with mechanical gauges. #2. Stripe package. #3. GPS with a high-end stereo system #4. Special order blue Highlight trim interior which comes with blue stitching on the steering wheel, seats and shifter, highlight blue panels on the doors that glow blue also the instrument cluster lights are blue. #5. Sun roof (my wife did not want it, but now has thanked me at least 50 times for not listening to her C; ) 2 months later the car arrived from Detroit on a train. The sales person took us to the financial department where they gave us a 60 month no interest loan C: and the Costco no haggling cost. The sales man showed us the MSRP price, the actual price they paid for it and the Costco discount. After Blue booking the Camaro on Kelley Blue Book I found that we paid almost $2,000 less than the lowest Blue Book value. So overall when all is said and done, I will return to buy another car here in the future.

I initially met with Clark Saxberg because of my previous communication with him back in 2011 when I was in the market for my earlier car. I thought he would be the best person to deal with at Fremont Chevy because of our history together (by email only) but was disappointed with the way he attended to me. I understand he had a foot injury and was not in a comfortable situation that day but he just left me waiting without endorsing me to someone else. After waiting for several minutes (he promised me by email that he wanted only 40 minutes of my time when I come over but he made me wait for more than that) I looked for him and found him in his office (with a painful foot). I asked him if he was ready for me and he just said hes done and cant get up anymore, but he didnt even offer to endorse me to someone else. He just let me stand there by the door of his office. The good thing is I was also in contact with Jim Ramsell by email earlier so turned around and looked for Jim. Jim was excellent. He was very professional and showed me the best options for my car purchase. After agreeing with the price of the new car and the trade-in value of my car, he endorsed with Pat Davis with regards to the different payment options as well as lease options. Pat Davis was also very professional and attentive to my needs. Finally, the Finance Manager Chrys Gerontides was also excellent. The team up of Jim Ramsell, Pat Davis and Chrys Gerontides made my car buying experience at Fremont Chevrolet pleasant after the initial disappointment with Clark Saxberg.

I researched both my vehicle and your dealership online first. We acquired our own financing and knew what we could afford to pay and what our maximum payment could be. I emailed an inquiry and Joel replied. We made an appointment to test drive the vehicle, a few days later. When we arrived we were promptly greeted and shown our way to Joel. Again, greeted and Joel took us to see the car. Took a short test drive and both myself and my wife knew that this vehicle was just what we needed and that it just as the internet description said it would be. Not hassle with the price as we all felt that the price was fair and accurate (within Kelly Blue Book). Finance office took all the time necessary to get us taken care of and offered several options to make sure that our vehicle was covered if repairs became necessary. Initially, we were not going to add anything to the price of the car, but Eden was able to get us into a coverage that works for us and was within our maximum monthly payment options. Overall a great experience. I will definite be back, even though it is 120 miles away, and there are numerous Chevrolet dealers closer, when I purchase another car. I will definitely tell friends and family about your dealership and the great deal we got. Thanks, Arnold and Jeri Wartena
