I went with my son to buy a car there and we bought a nice Nissan Leaf for around $19k. It was a year old and in good condition. We paid 1/2 cash and financed the rest over 5 years. A year later he decided to switch cars because he wanted to be able to drive long distance (leaf has 90 mile limit). He went back there and they really pulled a fast one on him. They told him that Leaf is losing value quickly because the newer models are much better. Therefore they can only give him $7000 for it as credit to a Jetta. Even though I told him not to do it, he got pushed to do it (young kid being persuaded easily by a good sales guy). At the end of the day, he got $7000 credit for his Leaf and leased a brand new Jetta for more than double the monthly payments. Next day when I came back from my trip I explained the big mistake he did but he was never able to undo it.. Now he is a student and is stuck with these high payments of almost $400 for a basic Jetta for 2 more years.. Needless to say that after these 3 years, the car is not going to be his .. They will get it back and sell it again while he is stuck with nothing.. Nissan Santa Cruz did nothing illegal but I will never ever ever buy or recommend to buy from them.. PS: The same Leaf was on their web site two weeks later for $14,995

I went in for a tire rotation. I had purchased the car and tires from the old dealership crossed the street. The new owner honored the fact that I bought from Nissan and rotated tires with no charge. They also performed a software update and charged the car, all with no charge. Most of their service is now done on site and they are building a new dealership building on 41st avenue. Well done, and thanks!

Service is horrible and they refuse to honor their word or their warranties. If you want to buy a new or used Nissan go to My Nissan in Salinas. Definitely worth the trip. I will never but a car from Santa Cruz Nissan again.
