Unfort i hv had to go here at least 75 times. Glad I now live near the one in Arcadia which is so much better than the Cypress. The main prob with Cypress is they get on the intercom and scream, and scream (ad nauseum) for the various depts to pick up, and, apparently they never do. the girl hired to do said screaming (and this is over years here) was hired almost certainly because her voice is among the most annoying sounds you will ever hear. she makes u want to run from the store. the arcadia store is so much more sublime. they use the intercom, but way nicer about it. they actually come up to you (3 times on my last visit) and asked if i needed anything. that nvr hapd at cycpress. there are maybe a few people working the floor at cypress and they actually get irritated when u ask for help and they seem to know next to nothing. i try to use my local hardware store for everything i can. if u live near eagle rock go to Tritch Hardware - a magical place.

Screwed up orders, screwed up refunds, did not have person available at store to do a refund???????? When I called was hung up on and sent to the wrong department several times. Very unhappy with the service I received on the phone. At this location, however, things were better and everyone was helpful, but told us that we had to wait for a credit because no one, in this national chain store, that could do credits was at the location????? Still on phone trying to sort out their terrible billing paperwork. OK now on my third hang up!!! Hopefully 4th time is the charm? Nope, went through cust service this time and had the call yelled over the PA in the store. They still hung up on me... (Doors and Windows Dept.) Had a friend that has pro status at HD. He called and got the credit done in a couple of hours. So their store is not the worst experience nor is it particularly good. The phone service, when they are busy, gets a rating of -1 on a scale of 1 to 5.

I went to buy a couple of things I needed to the Home Depot in Glendale, which I have a much closer one by home but the customer service in there isnt very complimenting so I decided to try on a new one. The way the employees just acknowledge you and greet you is very welcoming and I couldnt stand for a couple of minutes starring at one thing because they would come by and ask if I needed any help on a product; It was very nice and when I went to check out my things this young gentleman named Gerardo help me with an amazing smile and very nice and courteous. I had a couple of questions about certain products an he patiently answer to every question I had. Usually I would get a smirk or just the sense of employees just wanting me to leave in other places but this gentleman help me as best as he could and Im just very satisfied with the help that this Home Depot provided to me. Excellent customer service!

I had a Delivery to this store...it has a difficult dock parking for big trucks. that is not so much the problem for me and not call my attention but yes the Lady who opened the GATE. She All the time stayed looking her Cellphon and does not answer to my questions . She stared at his phone without paying any attention .when I gave her paperworks, she Take the paper works without taking his eyes off her phone.. OMG... I think the company had forbidden her speaking in business hours but allowed her to look her cellphon.... "what a effective communication have people who work here". .. ; )

Went to Home Depot today on San Fernando rd. The lady in curtain department was absolutely rude and not helpful. I was asking for help for curtain rods since I dont know what kind are there and how you mount them on the wall. She told me she cannot choose for me and I should choose myself. And she was training a new employee who probably felt that she was inappropriate and came to help me. The new trainees was nice and I hope she doesnt learn the attitude from her "teacher". Of course I left a store

For the little time I spent there, I was always assisted to the right location of my product i was seeking, as when I got there, there were sold out. However the sales person redeemed himself by checking the back inventory and managed to find me one that was sitting in the back. Saved me a whole lot of trouble trying to find this heater at another store when they are going like hot cakes.. Overall I liked the layout, the massive selection of products and the sales team. Well done

45 minutes wait to cut a blind, I call it bad customer service, this lady with sad and tired face tells me you can go somewhere else, I just asked how long should I wait. Home depot teach your employees how to talk to customers, if they have people problem, take them to other departments away from direct contact with them. This is the second time I see this kind of behavior at this location, worst than some DMV employees...

This place really kills me. I wanted to do some painting went in bought my paint which was great. But when I went to the hardware department 3 guys walked by me and didnt even offer to help me out with my questions. I was able to google what I needed and figured it out myself. A store this big should have more customer service people walking around to help customers.

I am a big fan of Home Depot! The Glendale Home Depot is my local store as I live in Glendale about 5-10 minutes from the store. I like it! Since I shop there frequently, I know quite a few people who work there and they know me too. I can usually count on Home Depot to have what I need and to give me good service!

Go to this location only if you have no other choice or you are a contractor that knows what he is doing. If you are a regular customer who needs advice, you are never gonna get it here, the store is understaffed and poorly trained about their own products. You are better off to go to Burbank location or Lowes.

Time: 30 mins to purchase 1 window decal. Staff persons provided unreliable and inaccurate information; no person appeared although stated they would; generally speaking, assistance was slow/reluctant yet rude and pushy at the register. Customers: ready your patience.

I just love Home Depot. I can always find what I need and even though some of the staff dont always have a clue what you are talking about, they can be helpful finding it. The only thing I dont like about this particular one is the parking lot. It always seems dirty.

Probably the worst staff at any home depot. One guy was literally sitting in his chair and just pointed to the isle where I could find what I was looking for. Another staff member pointed to a person and said "ask him." Management needs to be changed out.
