For me Presidents Day is a gardening day. I needed to fix some patches of grass in the backyard so I went to home depot to check things out and see what my options where. When I got to Home Depot, I entered the gardening section and I was drawn to this awesome little display that had three types of grass growing on it. It was a little flat tray thing that was separated by thin sheets of plywood. The three types of grass in the tray thing where: Scotts Turf Builder 3 lb. Tall Fescue Mix Grass Seed Scotts Turf Builder 10 lb. EZ Seed for Tall Fescue Lawns Vigoro Tall Fescue Grass Seed I liked the way the Scotts Turf Builder EZ seed looked and felt so I grabbed some of that stuff for my little project. I get into grass repair mode a few times a year. For me it is simple. I like to look out the window of my home office and see green grass that is well manicured. I have a good gardener that comes once a week to keep it looking nice and cut and I take on the task of keeping it green. My current issue is that my neighbors tree trunk is coming over into my yard and disrupting my grass. It is literally growing right at dirt level. The solution that I came up with was to buy a bunch of top soil and dump it over the top of the tree trunk and then reseed over the top of it. When you put the new seed down you need lots of good water and this little section of the backyard doesnt it so when I was at Home Depot I grabbed another sprinkler head and problem solved. I have dogs so it is a constant battle to repair the damages that they leave in the grass. I got this little 1 foot high fence stuff and cordoned off the area that I reseeded. Today it has been a week since I made the repair and this is keeping the dogs out. Of course they are not pissing on the little fence thing that I put but but I put extra top soil down where the fence was installed so we will see:)

Fausto is amaaaazing! I just so happened to call around to different Home Depot stores trying to frantically find a certain plant to finish a landscaping project. This particular project is a summer project. However, the plant is sold during the start of Spring to the end of June. So with that said, I have had challenges with locating stores with a large quantity and supply. I called this store, asked to speak to an ASK aka Assistant Store Manager, to assist with my request. It was a wonderful surprise when Fausto answered the phone! I had met him at the Torrance Home Depot and now he has relocated to this Home Depot! He was more than willing to assist and like always, he had exceeded my expectations, was able to deliver my plants as well as working on getting my plant orders scheduled by directly researching vendors and coordinating with other staff to ensure that everything is taken care of. Thank you Fausto!

I called this store at 840 this am to get a price for a sod cutter and a trencher, quick easy to answer question with the paper right there by the phone.The man working ask me to please hold while he gets a price for me , 45 mins later still on hold someone picks up the phone and hangs up without any regaurds to me being on the line .This place really needs to work on there customer service and learn how to acknowledge a customer. I will take my business somewhere else for my future contracts .A tip for the Corp office please teach your employees to be more respectfull to all customers and that promt and curtiouse service goes a long way.... no service looses good clients and $

Great customer service. They do an amazing job every time I go. And I go often, at least 5 times a month. They key station is great, and if no one is there, you can always go to the tools rental and they can help you. Ive had so many locks rekeyed, and each one had been great. Sometimes you do have a wait, but not long. My only complaint is that cashiers sometimes dont know their job as far as how to enter credit cards or account numbers manually. Seems odd they dont and it feels more like they dont want to bother with it. If you happen to have a cashier like that, my suggestion is after the first try, just go to customer service/returns. They can help you their.

Service sucks in this place. I walk up to two associates and begin asking a question. Their friend, another Home Depot employee walks up and started talking about their personal business and completely ignored me and my question. After I found what I was looking for, I went to walk out only to see one of the three now on the phone in the front/managers area laughing on yet another personal call. I tried to call the store when I left to speak to a manager. On hold for 7 minutes with no answer before I just hung up. Wow!!!

AWESOME store! Home depot associates are there when I need them, for example I was there solo and need help loading 4, 1/2" 4x8 drywall the H.D associate helped my load it on the cart and then onto my truck to me that was 1st class service. I was very pleased with H.D customer service, but keep in mind you do have to wait during peak hours for assistant. If you have projects you are working on and quite dont understand; H.D associates are there and they are very knowledgeable and very helpful and offer great advice.

Normally when I go to Home Depot it is usually a great experience. But it only takes one bad experience to ruin it and leave a bad taste in your mouth. Mine, or Aline, is the associate I asked for help. Without looking at me, I ask her if she could help. She simply says in a minute. I then proceed to wait at the machine. She comes up and sticks her hand out and I give her my keys to be copied. I dont know if she had a lot of go backs but I believe common human interaction skills should be priority.

We recently remodeled our kitchen/bathroom and used Home Depot for our complete remodel. Because we were ordering different items from different departments on one order the process could have been difficult but instead was a as a smooth process. We were fortunate enough to have as a Design Consultant, Andrew Rodriguez. He was extremely knowledgeable and very professional and made the whole process painless..Way to go "Home Depot" keep hiring great consultants like Rodriguez. Thanks Andrew.

I WALKED INTO HOME DEPOT WITH A VISION THAT COULD ONLY BE FULFILLED BY THE SPECIFIC MANUFACTURE, I RAN INTO A REAL OLD SCHOOL GUY NAMED ARNOLD M. IN THE HARDWARE DEPARTMENT,HE SHOULD BE PAID OR PROMOTED BECAUSE ARNOLD PREFABED AND BENDED ,SHAPED MY VISION, ALL I COULD DO WAS SMILE, IF I WAS TO EVER OPEN A BUSINESS I WOULD MOST DEFINATLY HIRE HIM AND FOR EVERYONE READING THIS, ARNOLD IS A MUST SEE GUY.

We bought indoor/outdoor carpeting to go around the deck of our in ground pool and needed quite a few cuts of different sizes. We we so very fortunate that an employee named "Will" was there to help us. He personified exceptional and excellent customer service. Thank you Will and thank you to the manager who hired him. He, Will, also got an assist from Raul, another good employee.
