Average Home Depot really - not enough staff, half the staff doesnt speak english, half of them dont speak spanish either... Time after time they send me to the wrong aisle or dont know what Im asking for. You usually have to ask a few times to have someone from that department come over and help you - if you can find someone to call them for you that is. Prices are nothing special, I never feel like I walk out happy about how much I spent there. The lines are slow, the self checkout is a bad joke... the machines are slow, 1 side cash only, 1 side credit only. Stuff like that. I buy online, from local nurseries, small hardware store, pool supply, aquarium supply... even electronics stores - The home Depot is on my list of stores as a last resort or 1 stop shop for simple building materials. Wood, PVC, glue, paint, screws... Anything fancier, Im better off sourcing things individually or buying from someone else.

This is the Home Depot I normally go to so I called earlier today. I needed to get some questions on a butcher block type wood. I went through all the prompts and after it rang and rang I was finally transferred automatically to the customer service desk. The girl there was very polite and said the lumber department doesnt have a phone (not sure if true or not) so then she said she would page someone. after awhile on hold the phone rang again. The girl said no one answered so she paged again. After being on hold it went back to the girl. She asked if I wanted to speak to a manager. I said yes. The phone went back on hold and after being on hold again I decided to hang up. This was not a pleasant experience and I couldnt get an answer to my questions so I called another place that answered quickly and went there and bought the wood I needed instead.

Serious return policy issue!!!! 90 days passed from your purchase, they need your drivers license number even if you have a receipt??!!! Couldnt even tell me why they needed my drivers license and its number. I asked for a manager and I got a rude assistant manager to help me with nothing. Just tell me "Home depot will not return items after 90 days" and Ill understand. But when they say they need my ID and the number to give me a store credit without telling me why they need it, I say its not acceptable!!!! This is the United States of America not some third world country where we give out all our personal information without being able to ask why/what for!!!!!! They wont get any business from me anymore, thats for sure!!!!!!! Go to Lowes or OSH or anywhere else but this stupid place.

I was returning an item and so were some other people. Everyone seemed to have some kind of issue, no receipt, didnt return all parts, etc. But then it was my turn. The girl that (I cant say )"helped" me was just incompetent, as I had the receipt for the item from the day before, that was paid with a gift card. She couldnt figure out how to put the refund back to the gift card and had to give me ANOTHER card to take up more space in my wallet. And she had me show my license to boot. Transaction should have taken 2 minutes, scan receipt, scan item, scan gift card, done! Lowes here I come.

When I asked the door greeter where I could find something, not only was she competent enough to know what I was talking about, she actually walked me all the way to the aisle without allowing the typical "other customer" distractions along the way. Once there, I was asked by two other employees if I was finding everything okay - which usually annoys me, but this time it was okay since I was standing there for almost 25 minutes trying to make up my mind! Good job Homer! Now can you just do something better about the day-labor that crowds the entrance to the parking lot?

Wow. They always have just what I need at lower price than I expect to pay! The staff here is always so helpful, when coming in the last time a staff worker noticed my baby girl only had one shoe, since I was in line for keys he even offered to trace back the way I came to find it, and he did! Miguel was AWESOME! He was able to fix and re-key 2 locks and make copies of keys very quickly and for so little I was amazed. Locksmiths wanted to charge $20 a lock and Home Depot wasnt even half that price! I am very grateful!!

Last week my husband and I purchased a bbq from this store. They had promised it would be delivered to our house in a couple hours seeing that we were gonna have company over for a bbq. 5 hours later still no bbq and was told that it wouldnt be delivered till the next day. It was as if no one cared or wanted to help us until i threw a fit and spoke to the manager who had it delivered within the next 20 minutes. If they were able to do it why the hassle?! Horrible customer service

I would give no star to this place. Once we finally bought our refrigerator, after the delivery never arrived and we had to pick it up for ourselves, it came with a dent.. we tried returning it and they replaced with a new one.. but they gave us the one from display with us paying full price for it... We came to this place so many times for this.. and all they can say is a stupid refound because thats how they resolve their stuff?!?! Unprofessional!!! This place sucks!!!!!!!

Surprisingly good gardening selection (6-packs of flowers) this late in the summer! They even had a few tomato plants left. Service was unremarkable-- two employees joking off while the garden center checkout line grew long. Last note was that shopping cart collection sites are nearly nowhere to be found in the parking lot. Thus, shopping carts were left helter skelter, ready to run into any nearby parked car to leave those less than desirable dents.

Great experience. I asked for help and the first guy (Gus) helped me out but then walked me over to someone more experienced with my type of project (Jorge). Jorge spent as much time as I needed. Going over different options, sketching out ideas, walking me over to the materials... extremely helpful, experienced and nice! This was a Friday morning so maybe people were not tired and in a great mood. Lol... anyway, I appreciate the help!

Betty Mason helped me yesterday. She wasnt even in her home store, she was visiting the Roscoe Balboa store and took time out of her schedule to help me. There were boxes I wanted and they were difficult to find and we needed a lift operator to fetch the product high above on the rack. The process took 3o minutes and she made sure I was helped all the way through. BRAVO! Great employees at this store!

Totally bummed out with Home Depot. We bought like 5 gallons of paint to do the exterior of the house. Started painting, and I was bummed that it wasnt what I expected, thought itd be darker. I check the swatch, and the guy apparently did it one shade lighter on the swatch than what we wanted. And since we already started painting, maybe using half a gallon, they said over the phone we cant return it.
