I bought some cabinet pulls from a Home Depot nearer me but they did not have the number I needed. I paid at the first store with a pick-up at the Home Depot in Compton. When we arrived we were told our paid order was not ready. Apparently the first store failed to tell us a pick up usually takes two hours. We had driven over right away. However, we were met by Yvette who was working the customer service desk. She was cheerful and went out of her way to insure we received our order so we would not have to return hours later. Home Depot should be honored that Yvette is their employee as she was absolutely the best and most courteous staff we have ever experienced at a Home Depot store. I want to commend this wonderful service by Yvette at the Compton Home Depot store because she cared. Such a breath of fresh air. Thanks again Yvette.

The guy in charge of Home Depot that dress in all black didnt want to help me find an item I need it he told me if I dont see it they dont have it in a rude way that was a disrespectful Manner he wasnt doing his job right. He was an African American I couldnt see his name badge so I dont know what his name was. I then went to Lowes they were really helpful and help me find what I needed for now on Im not going to the Compton Home Depot I rather drive more miles to Lowes to be treated right then to be disrespect this happen 5/3/2016 like at 11 am

There is no appearance leadership as far as employees are concerned they appear to disappear when you see them or you look like you need help then departments are shabby looking items are always out of order or out of stock Im informed it take a picture mamm of the scooter and go and see if they have it in another store something to that effect it sounds like garbage to me Im just very disappointed with that store used to be so glad so well stop and the employees were professional thats no longer the case.

Well organized store with plenty of isle space to move about the store with larger carts and large items as needed, this can be a frustrating ordeal in the stores with over cluttered, crowded isles, jammed with way too many needless items, and then constantly closing down entire isles during the day. This is an important benefit if your main reason to frequent HD is for larger items on a regular basis.

I had a great experience at the Home Depot in Compton a supervisor by the name of Jeanette helped us locate an item that they didnt have in stock she went out of her way to contact other stores to find the product for me and made it convenient enough for me to pay for it there and pick it up at the other store that was greatly appreciated they did a great job
