Such amazing service! At first it was like crickets when I was looking for someone to help me, but once I started going into the section I needed to be in, I was asked if I needed help 3 times! Roy, specifically, was extra kind. I came for plywood and wood stain and he was super helpful even though that wasnt his department. He got me some free wood sticks to test the stains on. The young man in the wood stain area was also a tremendous help. They provide a lot of free samples of wood types as well and it was such great experience! Cant wait to test out my project.

I agree with go4nitro. Called this Home Depot in El Monte to see if they carried a simple product. A customer service rep answered, and sent me to the rep. that specializes in that department. I was on hold by the 2nd rep. for 25 minutes. I knew the hold time was correct, because I was checking my cell for other info. I called Osh, and had my answer in 2 minutes, and they carried the product. I am a home depot customer, but the communication and customer service in the store needs to improve. This has happened to me on several occasions.

Maybe the better home depot branch, Garden area is their best reason to go, I always recommend Lows because they are cheaper and better knowledge of products, home depot is not their employees, the staff is great, the polices will get you...Avoid store credit, or watch what you spend it on, They do not have to refund, credit or even exchange, even if it factory defective or damaged, store credit means its yours, and that is CRAP, home depot is becoming a dying company

Very good experience, I normally purchase materials at many HDS across the nation, but, I think, that HD EL Monte is the best store for contractors. It is evident that the store manager have a close understanding of the contractors needs, and consequently. The store personal is very helpful in expediting the processing of the sales, therefore, the contractors can return to the work sites with minimum downtime.

Great customer service for any store, let alone a Home Depot, plus a much better inventory than the one in my neighborhood (North Figueroa St. location). They had what I was looking for, the staff was helpful, the restrooms were reasonable, and the girl at the checkout made me smile... what more can you really ask of a home improvement store?

the staff at the Home Depot there are rude and disrespectful the managers are just as bad I will never shop at that Home Depot again. I think this home depot is a disgrace to the Home Depot name and that the original managers or corporate or whoever needs to step in.

The staff was friendly, store was very clean and orderly and a couple of the guys made absolute certain my friend and I found the right measurements of lumber. The wait at the cashier wasnt very long either. Great store.

Low quality products. Horrible customer service. Disarray management. Parking lot is dangerous, unsafe, especially for women. Day laborers often harass shoppers and damage parked cars. I would never shop here again.

Clearance items are always marked down by only 25 to 50 cents. Thats not enough. Also, I often find items stocked in the wrong spot so the price at checkout is different than the shelf tag.
