If you cant find it at Lowes, cants find it at Home Depot, and the people at OSH dont have it, go to Dales. You will get the service you need, and they will have the parts you need. Ive gone there for obscure plumbing parts because my house used a material that nobody else carries. Ive found parts for a garbage disposal that other places didnt have. And the last time I was there, they were expanding so the store will have an even more amazing selection. I went there because I could not find brazing rods at Lowes. I tried Home Depot because I knew they used to have them. But they no longer did. Harbor Freight didnt have them either. When I called Dales, I was told they had them, and they were sold individually at a good price. I went there knowing I would find one that worked for my purpose. I ended up finding a variety of ones that could do the job as well as the exact one I needed that was perfect for the job. If I lived closer to them, Id go there for all my hardware needs. In the future, if I cant find something easily, Ill check with them before I check the big warehouse stores. Its worth the trip.

Impressive services with solutions on the floor with knowledgeable staffs. I got a reference from home depot customer when I spent the entire Sunday morning trying to replace a old backyard faucet gong back and forth between differing home depots and lowes, going nowhere. One home depot employee sent me back and forth saying their store does not carry the one with make compression thread copper, then later with another employee ws confident that what I was looking for doesnt exist and suggest I need to redomy pipe or hire a plumber. Dale had the exact item right when I walked in, quickly found a staff, took less than 30 second to find exactly what I need. Home depot need to go under cover boss. Sigh...

I discovered this Dale HW store when I lived in Union City in the early 1980s. The staff is very knowledgeable and understanding and helpful. Since 1989 I moved to south of Fremont near Warm Springs area. Though there is Home Depot and Lowes Store close by but when I need special parts or expertise I have to travel all the way to Thornton Dale store and always get the parts and the expertise there. Please open one store in the Warm Springs area, Fremont south. You will have almost all Home Depot and Lowes customers come to you.

Im a long-time customer of Dales. Whenever I need some advice on exactly what I need or even how to solve a home maintenance problem the staff is always available, knowledgeable, and helpful. The quality of customer service sets them apart. On the rare occasions there was a misunderstanding about a repair, they refunded my money without even trying to assess fault. Inventory is not as huge as Home Depot, but you can be sure of getting what you actually need.

Everything you would find at the big box stores at your semi local Ace Hardware. Staff is super helpful if you need help. Garden department is excellent! Will find some very unique things you wont find at the big guys. Despite all of the variety, it doesnt feel like a big box store. My partner is able to find what she needs without feeling intimidated. If you cant find it here, they know where you can find it.

Dont waste your time at other hardware stores. Dale Hardware is the best. Their staff is knowledgeable on anything Ive ever needed. Someone is always there to help within minutes of your arrival. Their prices may be a tad bit higher than other stores, but you arent stuck roaming around aimlessly in a huge warehouse type store looking for something you need or someone to help you.

I have been a regular customer at Dale’s for over 30 years. I am a DIY whenever possible homeowner. The employees on the floor in the various sections have the expertise and patience to help DIY customers which MORE THAN compensates for any lower prices you might find in Big Box stores. There are many long time employees there and the store’s policy is the customer comes first.

The best hardware store in the area. The staff is friendly and knows their products. The store is very clean. Many retired contractors work on the staff and can provide good tips as to how to complete a project. Selection is good. If they do not have something, they can order anything. Prices are a little bit high, but you are willing to pay for the quality and service.

Dale Hardware in Fremont consistently provides great service. I am no handyman, & I hate doing house or yard work, but anytime my wife pushes me to do it, I find them helpful in getting me what I need. They have plenty of parking. They also have a rewards program linked to your phone #. They periodically send coupons in the mail or in the Argus newspaper

By far the best staff at any hardware store. This place is the anti-Frys Electronics, always there to help, happy to help and they know what theyre talking about. Every time Ive had a home repair that I didnt know how to do, I have found a Dale employee happy to explain how to fix it and then walk me around the store to get everything I need.

This is my preferred hardware store. Everything is organized well and service is amazing. Employees and extremely helpful. While selection may not be as great as home depot or Lowes, this place still is much friendly and competitive in pricing. If I can help it, the hardware I need comes from here.

Dale Hardware truly employ experts!! As usual I stopped in to pic up parts to repair a broken toilet. After a 5 minute conversation with one of their staff they showed me how to replace a $5 part versus $29 unit. Saved me time and money once again!!

This place does a great job of hiring and training their work force. Customer service has always been excellent here. If youre not sure what youre looking for, a subject matter expert will assist you. Whereas at Home Depot, youre likely on your own.
