I had to sit there and listen to two employees get so short and frustrated with a costumer who asked for a advertised key and price that was quite largely printed right there at the register check out stand....... There answer is "oh ya we are no longer selling that item" like any sane person would say, " well if you no longer offer that you should take down your advertisement cause its false advisement" one employees huffed and puffed and walked away...... While the lady employee Sat there telling the costumer how he didnt know what he was talking about and trying to degrade him and the help he needed... I was so fed up with the lack of help and respect these employees had for there costumers I had to say something to both of them and then was horrified to find out the female employee was (head of costumer service)... Wtf????? So she gets paid to treat people less then.... Awesome, orchard supply in Capitola ca, you suck!!!! You first of all are under staffed, but yet staffed with rude, disrespectful, incompetent people.... I couldnt get out of there quick enough..the even sadder part is I had my own personal horrific experience, but after seeing what I witnessed that is why I decided to leave this review!!!! And if you think for a second I dont understand how customer service works let me assure you Im a seasoned veteran!!!! I have been in the restaurant business + bartending for 13 years and I deal with far worse people then orchard supply....business gone else where..... And my husband and I own a couple businesses that home depot is proud to And happy to offer with great attitudes and far more respect for the money Im spending to ensure there jobs...Hey lets see if you have any remorse and reply back if you wish... Sincerely: integrity matters!!!!!

Some of the worst customer service Ive ever seen. Attempted to buy a HVAC air filter here. Was unsure where it was located so I asked for directions. Was provided poor instructions and I was unable to locate it so I asked again. Was provided with the same poor instructions. It appears they were too lazy to show me where it was located after I explained to them I was unable to find it with the instructions they provided. I attempted to locate it again and was unable to. Being thoroughly annoyed I just walked out. I saw no point in asking a 3rd time since clearly they didnt care about helping me. Im not sure what happened since my last two experiences including one in September this year were great with helpful employees. Things change in a short period of time I guess. Went to Ace Hardware instead. Night and day difference in customer service! They actually cared about me getting the right product.

I went there this morning at 8am and purchased cement and mulch, got my pull tags then went to loading area, it was closed. I went back at 10am and it was still closed. I then went to customer service and asked if that department was closed on Sunday, I was told they should be open. He then called the manager on duty, Issac to ask when it would be open. He was told the crew was doing other jobs and that is why they were not open. No apology, no please give us 5 minutes, nothing. I asked for my money back and went to Home Depot, where I bought the same items for $6 less.

For years this place is the best for all your hardware needs. Great customer service. Never feel intimidated asking questions I might think people would feel Im dumb about. However, the past few times I have gone in and wanted to purchase something they have tags to pick up and the warehouse cant find. A little bit of a bummer but Ill still shop over home depot

I get a lot of things here that I cannot get at Home Depot. Very handy and surprisingly good prices. It takes a while to navigate the store and it is very hard to find someone to help. But, once I do get someone, they tend to be very helpful and pay attention to details. This place makes getting stuff done much easier. I like the quality tools with hardened tips.

I have had better experiences, but this last visit sent me to two of their stores after they said they would have something in stock. I paid for the item and then when I went to pick it up they were out of the color I wanted so I had to drive to another store. O.k. but I would have liked to know beforehand,

It is a much improved shopping experience here after the remodel. Employees are generally friendly and usually (but not always) helpful. Much preferred to stop here than dealing with Home Depot, especially for the smaller items. Club Orchard gets you all kinds of coupons and specials, too.

The place is huge, but even so, most of the people who work there know whats in the other departments. The parking is a bit of a mess due to too-small spaces for everyones too-large SUVs, but other than that it is a good place to find what you need.

Had an enjoyable time here at this Capitola OSH. Helpful staff, good location. We talked about a new product they carry called Weatherwash wood stain which gives wood a beautiful aged wood look. Would come here again.
