I had my flooring put in by Home Depot. I walked in initially with the intention of putting in Hardwood. But after talking to the sales staff I decided laminate might be better for my pet and cheaper. I went during their special $397 entire house install. my initial estimate for my entire condo (700 square feet) was $3200, the installer showed up said there were all these other things I needed, my entire bill for my 700 square feet of LAMINATE ended up being $5000. For that price I would have opted for hardwood. Furthermore The entire floor started buckling the next day, I called Home Depot right away, and they refused to fix the problem statng that its not their fault. Even though their contract says they will repair my floor within one year of install date. Its been one week and they wont repair it. I cant believe this company. I cant believe how unaccountable they are. I cant believe they gipped me 5000 for defective laminate flooring that theyre calling "not their problem." People at the store may be nice, But I wouldnt trust them to install anything.

Guy at tool rental was awesome and helpful. The one lady at self checkout (all regular checkout was closed), had an angry tone in her voice, was disrespectful when she spoke, and didnt offer any help with a mis priced item I had was checking out with. Yes I know it was mislabeled because the entire row of items was the same, I checked the label on the item and the price marker on the wall. She offered to cancel the item, but there is a huge line up that showed up behind me and I had just rented a tool for 4 hours. No offer to get someone to help me sort it out or skip the line on my way out once it was figured out, or even saying sorry for the issue. Im still on the clock but writing this was worth it. That is entirely unacceptable behaviour. Update August 5, 2017: Today each of the three employees I talked to were pleasant and aimed to be helpful. +1 stars to Home Depot. Hopefully youre making a change and this wasnt random chance.

First I went here to get key copies made, the guy I asked said he could do it and stuck the original and copy in the machine. I looked at the keys afterward and they were not identical. When I asked them to look at them he said "they look close" and "well I tried" then just walked away. Second time I was there, I asked an employee where to locate an item in the store. He ignored me. I raised my voice a little thinking he couldnt here me and promptly responded "theyre inside" nothing else. I know he was probably just having a bad day but management needs to be doing something to prevent this. Even though I live very close to this hardware store I will be driving out of my way, never to go here again. There are stores that treat people better and it definitely not this one.

I rented a truck here. The advertised rate is $19 for the first 75 min, then $5 for every 15 min. But dont get fooled by that. their ACTUAL way of counting the minutes started right when you got served from the counter. Theyd spend 5 min going through paper work, and then check engine, gas, etc. Ofc you need to fill gas before return. When you returned to Home Depot, you had to wait 20 min (or more depend on how busy the store is) in the queue, just to get served for the returning request. Theyd go check engine, gas again. Only AFTER all of these, their timer stops. Lessons learned: expect 40 min more than your planned time, which is $15 more than expected rate. Hope you still enjoy your rental.

It was a terrible experience. I registered for a Saturday workshop. I woke up earlier in the morning to make sure not to be late. But it turned out they didnt prepare for it all. To be worse, the lady, who was trying to figure our what was going on, was very dishonest. She told us some one was getting ready. We waited for twenty minutes and asked help from another guy. when that guy planed to do some help, the lady told him that nobody was working on that all. Whats more, during the waiting time when we sense she wasnt very helpful, we did talked to a youngman. Before we even finished, she almost yelled at the youngman, said, " i am working on this, dont waste your time"

My experience with this Home Depot varies from visit to visit. I would give this place: - a zero-star rating whenever I had a question and could not find a single worker in the aisles to help (which was the case every now and then); - a one-star rating when a worker was around but did not know the answer (which was often the case); and - a five-star rating when the worker was familiar with the subject matter and was able to provide helpful guidance (which was rarely the case). This averages out to two stars for customer service. Factoring in the decent selection that this Home Depot offers, I think an overall rating of three stars is fair.

I went to pick a color for my room. We spent 45-50 minutes or more in the paint department because no one was there to help us. Then this guy who worked there came. His name is Devin. The had a very sour face. He looked like some one was forcing him to be there. The whole time he was talking to his "friends". When I went up to him to ask for help he looked bothered. I went up to him 3 times and all 3 times he brushed me off and said "Go look at the computer." Anytime we ever go there...there is no one to help us. I will never go there again. People who work there ruin peoples mood and waste their time. They are all so unfriendly.

I only go to this store because its right across the street. I went there to make keys. No one was there so I went to customer service who said theyd call someone over. I waited 10 min and still no one so I went back to customer service. This went on at least 5 times. I got fed up after almost an hour and drove all the way to Lowes in Sunnyvale and got the keys made immediately. A month later I needed keys again so I gave HD the benefit of the doubt and tried again. Once again they did the exact same crap, and I left after 25 minutes. Worst customer service experience ever!!!

This store is an absolute nightmare if you have any questions. I have had to call four separate times to acquire a receipt for a charge made on a company Visa - each time Ive been bounced around to multiple people, each more clueless than the last. If you do choose to shop here, I strongly caution that you monitor your credit card statement vigilantly and go in person to resolve any issues immediately. Unfortunately, Im located hours away from this location and so am forced to deal with this phone circus they call customer service!

just share my experience few days ago - online order, 800 customer service calls and in store customer services for appliance purchase. it looks like every appliance is special order which you cant get return/refund/exchange if more than 48 hrs - thats what i was told by customer service manager. everything you found something wrong you have to deal with brand customer service directly not to homedepot. i want to say how can you have better knowledge to appliance withing 48 hrs to find out the problems?
