I am disappointed this morning with the customer service at the Gas operation of the Costco located at "43621 Pacific Commons Blvd, Fremont, CA 94538". I bought gas this morning at ~6:20AM and must procure a receipt for business/tax requirements. The pump was out of paper which I understand happens…not the problem. Therefore, to be polite to others rather than leaving my truck at the pump I drove my truck over to the booth to ask for a receipt from the attendant. After asking “Politely” the attendant promptly walked past me and without turning back began speaking…I was told to move my vehicle somewhere…since I was unable to hear clearly where. Now at 6:20AM the parking lot is empty and other than 9-10 individuals buying gas, the attendant and myself there was no one, still not the problem. It was the attendant’s attitude, arrogance and blatant disrespect that is the problem. I care not what his evening might have been, having to wake early, nor his personal problems but he is a direct representative of the Costco Corporation and therefore, should be held accountable for his professionalism and customer service. This was a bold and appalling statement for a company reputation. I believe that customers "are not always right" but they are still the customer.

Im very indifferent about costcos. Too many shoppers unaware of their surroundings not to mention how they block other shoppers from getting by. Its a game of bumper carts now and im entering with a atitude that if you bump me i bump you back and hard. Kids in the cart, beware. Its not you its your inconsiderate parents. Im also a wine shopper of The Good Stuff. Some Costcos offer very little on selection while a small few have an impressive selection. I guess that town is where all the Winos live. Bravo. But the worst at any costco is when the sunglass table is on display. You have a person behind the table at all times to assist customers and to keep an eye on the customers. I often find wonderful deals on whats displayed but when im told i can only pick up the pair in the Eye Center i pass on that purchase. Im NOT about to take a number and wait another 30+minutes for the already busy admins to pluck my sunglasses from a case and purchase when i still have another line to wait in for the remainder of my purchases. Costco, feel free to fix this situation to a more customer friendly transaction.

The store is nice and clean. Staff is friendly enough...Considering this is Northern California. I found that they are sneaking in too many Kirkland brand items and not offering alternatives. I refuse to buy the Kirkland brand if there is no alternative. It just makes me mad and reminds me of Sams Wholesale, which is lower quality in my opinion. Im also annoyed with the lower quality items they are offering such as only synthetic socks for women. They used to have an all cotton brand (Champion), but not anymore. It just seems like they are trying to push their own products. I dont go to Costco for large quantities of items I dont use. I go to Costco for large quantities of the brand name items I am used to. Sorry Costco, your customers are not that stupid and we do notice what you are doing.

Aug-26-2017, time about 6:45pm, A white, middle to old age man, checking the receipt at the exit gate of the customer is not suitable for his job. Instead of receiving the receipt from the customers hand politely he snatched the receipt very disrespectfully. He is perhaps employed in some other part of the store. Whatever be the case, he does not have the right attitude to face the customer. Costco senior managers should consult this persons subordinate to see if there has been a case of unreported racism, or work place abuse. His behavior need to be supervised and reported. Otherwise, this Costco experience is pretty good.

In general staff are polite and very helpful but one experience I had lately did really impressed me and that was when I contacted manufactures of a fire pit that I bought from this Costco over a year ago asking for replacement of the cover to be sold to (not warranty replacement). Manufacturer asked me to contact Costco and ask them to initiate the request !!. When I talked to the Costco employee, he took all the info and told me they will let me know in couple of weeks. Surprisingly enough, I got the replacement in the mail at no charge. Thanks to Pacific Commons Costco.

Do you like $1.50 hot/polish dogs + beverage? I do. This is a Costco, there are many others like it but this one is "mine". As big-box stores go, I cannot deny the deals (or the multitude of toilet paper I now have in storage). Its always fun to wander the aisles and see new things for sale but on the flip side there are times when a personal favorite item is phased out and they no longer carry that item. Of course, with any store like this, you can expect lines. Some days are worse than others but the staff do a decent job of getting things moving (for the most part).

I always planned my shopping based on the coupons that came in the mail. Suddenly they stopped. After missing about three cycles I called to ask how to receive them. I was told by James they are randomly sent out by the corporate offices and there was nothing he or I could do about it. He then gave me the corporate number after a lot of coaxing. But the number he gave me was incorrect. Oh well, maybe its time to shop somewhere else since having a membership for 30+ years doesnt even qualify a person for coupons anymore. This store is always crazy crowded anyway.

I like this location and the store a lot better than others around the area. First of all, it has a gas station thats not always overly crowded. The store itself is very well-kept and nicely clean, stocks are rotated more often hence I hardly see anything expired or damaged on shelves. The staff here are very courteous and always helpful especially staff working in parking lot gathering carts. Whenever they see me with a full load of purchases, they always stop to assist with loading and taking carts away.

Typical Costco, which sometimes has good stuff. BUT... If you return an item, expect a long 10-15 minute wait in line. If you dont like waiting 5-15 minutes in line to checkout, then you have to go at very specific times of the day. Typical shopping times in the evenings and weekend days, are just horrid. The place is overcrowded, noisy, jammed with carts and people. It is hard to navigate, and the shortest line to checkout typically means 3-5 full carts ahead of you.

Great convenient location and the staff is very approachable and friendly. Why 3 stars? 1 Small and medium sizes in garments and shoes are never to be seen (hello Costco, have you checked the demographics of Fremont?) 2 Variety and selection is missing - few good choices compared to some other Costco locations in Mtn View etc. 3 Finding stuff - once its here now its relocated - in the crowd playing hide and seek is difficult even if you know what you want. esp Tea!
