My husband and I have been Executive Costco members For many years now. This store offers so many great deals, top quality products and customer service, and an awesome food court!!! I cant think of anything I have ever bought at Costco (grocery or product) that has been disappointing. We buy our groceries, household items including furniture, gift cards, shoes, clothing, under clothing, electronics, we get pics developed (best quality I have ever had my pictures print out!) dog treats, toiletries, every vacation deal or package deal we always go through Costco to book it because we never find a better deal and weve always been more than satisfied with no issues! Not to mention what we save buying in bulk at their prices! We have come to use and rely on it so much that the 2% back we receive For every purchase actually pays for our membership renewal each year plus an excess amount of at least $150 that we get as a cash card toward our next purchase or money! Now that Ive said my peace about it, Ill get to my review, which is focused on the food court. They have a select and consistent item menu and Ive tried everything on it. Our favorite is the hot dog (which is enormous and is $1.50 with a drink!) and their turkey provolone sandwich which is packed with sliced turkey and melted provolone cheese, tomato, and onions on a ciabatta bun foe $3.99 (delicious!) The hot dog is huge, thick, juicy, flavorful and probably the best hot dog I have ever had! The sandwich is always warm with a soft but lightly toasted ciabatta bun and the meat is always tender and juicy with the tomato and onions giving it that simple but great added flavor! The fountain drinks, which go for 69 cents if you buy independently, are Coke products and free refills! If anyone can tell me where you can get a fountain drink with free refills for 69 cents, Im all ears! It just doesnt exist anymore! Finally, the Very Berry sundae! Yogurt that is creamy vanilla with a gelatto like texture, topped with strawberries and strawberry sauce! It reminds me of a gelatto short cake (if that makes any sense!) I had one and now every time we go, I have the hardest time leaving without one because I know what Im missing and its tragic! The sundae runs $2.99 I believe!!! Hurry, go now, and GET A MEMBERSHIP!!! First time or new customers, especially singles, who are not going for a lot of bulk items can get a Premier membership for $60 for the year!

Really bad experience with purchasing tires from this location. Previously, purchasing tires from costco (different locations) was always good - good prices and good service. This time, I bought Premier A/S for my Subaru outback 2010 on April 29, 2017 from Costco on Coleman Ave, Santa Clara. The wait to install was about 1.5 hrs. When I got my car back, and drove it on the road, Ive noticed severe vibrations. I have brought the car back in approximately a week, and the mechanic, Charlie have told me that the tires were completely unbalanced, and improperly installed. I have waited 1.5 hrs again for the re-balance. Charlie has told me that now the tires are balanced. Back on the road - still vibrates, but less. Come back a week later, request to talk with the tire shop supervisor. A person named Cesar appears. Cesar convinces me first to align the wheels. OK, go to an alignment shop. The wheels are aligned - still vibrating. Go to the Costco for the fourth time. Cesar: "I do not know man, you have something wrong with the car, we can re-balance it but you need to wait for two hours. I think I am going to buy different tires elsewhere and bring theirs back. Too bad, I ve used to rely on good service and great products from Costco

I live in Pleasanton ca. Im awaiting surgery for my hip and need a wheelchair to get around. So not being familiar i stopped and asked a gentlemen who worked there if they had electric chairs. He said yes so i proceeded to park. As i was getting out of my car here was this gentlemen with a electric cart. Inside i was asked several times even with my adult daughter and young granddaughter if we needed anything. As we checked out and started heading to my van there was the gentlemen who brought me the electric chair. Telling my daughter hed be happy to help load our rather large purchase of food. Preparing for several weeks of recovery from surgery. Ive been shopping at Costco for years. Ive met several nice employees, but Ive had multiple surgeries shoulder, foot. Ive asked for assistance and have never got more than a point and directions. I am truly grateful for our experience and kindness we were shown. Also i do not do surveys or questionnaires but i truly feel this store needs a shout out to great employees and extra care they showed me.

There is only one entrance into this very busy Costco which makes it horribly backed up when turning left from Coleman at the light. The cars get extremely backed up at the light and then when entering into the parking lot where the stop signs slow entering and exiting traffic. A lot more can be done to fix the ridiculous gas station traffic lanes that block off extra parking spaces. Best night to shop here are Friday nights. I would also highly recommend purchasing eyeglasses from Costco and using the optometrist office onsite for quick and easy appointments. Office staff and optometrists are extremely friendly and caring. Way better than I expected and less expensive than spending $600+ for glasses and lenses in a private optometry office. Lastly, you dont need a Costco member card to use their optometry services or pharmacy.

Our experience at this Costco has always been great. Never had any issues purchasing stuff from the store or while filling up gas, which is always cheaper by 30-40 cents/gallon as compared to any other regular gas station. I like Costco better than BJs (not present in California) especially because they apply the manufacturers discount automatically at the time of checkout. My only concern with Costco setup is no names outside the aisle to explain whats kept in it and no department names either. If youre looking to buy something for the first time or have forgotten where a particular product is generally shelved, it makes finding that item a bit difficult. I guess Costco wants customers to browse through all the aisles and purchase products which they didnt intend to. Does get a bit crowded on the weekend.

Gasoline always a long line except if you happen to time it just right. As you enter the parking lot, check to see how many cars are queued up. Then either park and shop or get gas first. Not that it matters to me but they are out of premium gas a lot of times. Go to Costco after lunch otherwise you will be tempted to sample all the free food. Some are healthy but most are full of salt and fat but if you need some calories ... This Costco I think is a little smaller than other Costco warehouses. For the most part, they have everything but dont be surprised if they dont have everything that you are accustomed to at other stores. Hey, the prices are good. Beggars cant be choosy!
