To whom it may concern: Over the last two months, I have noticed a significant decline in the quality of your cat litter product, known as Litter Purrfect. I work with several animal rescue organizations here in Shasta County of northern California. I have worked with Haven Humane Society, of Redding, California and I also work with Another Chance Animal Welfare League in Palo Cedro. I care for approximately 80 cats on a daily basis. We have used Litter Purrfect almost exclusively, purchasing this product in 30 pound jugs from COSTCO, usually 12 to 15 jugs per week. We can easily provide receipts to establish this statement as fact. Up until roughly two months ago, I found your product to be a beneficial blend of Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate) and Bentonite clay granules. This blend facilitated a clumping process when the cats urinated in the liter trays, allowing easy and mess-free removal with a sifting trowel. There was a minimum amount of dust. However, starting about two months ago, the litter we bought at COSTCO in your jugs took on a completely different appearance and performance. It was more like beach sand, with a much higher percentage of Baking Soda and smaller granules of Bentonite clay. The result is that the urine clumps break apart and will not hold their shape during removal, thereby contaminating the remaining good litter. The Baking Soda increase has not reduced the odor at all. In fact it is worse. And on top of this, when this litter is sifted now, It creates clouds of fine dust that waft up out of the litter tray on the slightest breeze, making an industrial grade breathing filter mask an absolute necessity. The cats have started showing respiratory problems as well. Unfortunately, it appears that we will have to transition to a better product that has the qualities we once found in Litter Purrfect and which no longer hold true. Petco has a brand that has a price on refillable containers that is comparable to what your product sells for at COSTCO. Sincerely, Mark McCandlish & Michele Peterman The Assisi Foundation. Called to refill my prescription. The lady who answered very professional, transferred me to the pharmacy. However, no one ever picked up the phone in pharmacy... Not even to ask me to hold. I waited and called back 5 minutes later to Costco the lady who answered the phone name was Jaime. I am not sure if she is the one who picked up earlier or not but, this time when I explained what happened, I was told that the pharmacy was extremely busy and that they may not have time to pick up the phone... The pharmacy picked up after one ring this time. I gave the tech my RX refill number and she didnt ask me when I wanted the refill and TOLD me that it would be ready tomorrow morning. When I tried to explain to her that I didnt realize how low I was on my meds and that if I could have it today I would appreciate it. She replied really snotty "In the future please make sure that I order my prescriptions the day before I run out. " I understand that I should of done that but, like I said I didnt realize how low I was. In other words, Im out of my meds. I dont like being treated like Im a pain in the butt. However, in the future I will make sure I order my meds before I run out just to avoid being treated like a pain in the butt and to make their jobs easier.

Costco has a lot more organic options than ever before and has the best prices for bulk items, hands down. The checkers are kind and efficient but good luck if you have any questions while shopping. Keep every receipt because Costco takes its excellent return policy seriously. If you have crowd anxiety avoid the weekends and Friday afternoon like the plague. Also if you get the Costco Citi credit card you will get percentages back but the APR is awful (5% greater than all my other cards) and it can quickly become a debt hole that is difficult to climb out of. Use it only if you know you can pay off your full balance every month. I dont know why the APR is sooo high. Its insane. Overall, Costco is a must for any family but may be too much for single individuals cause almost everything is in bulk. Unless that single individual drinks a lot of alcohol cause their booze prices are crazy low. Ive heard though that you dont even need a Costco membership to buy alcohol or cigarettes there. But considering I dont smoke and need my membership anyway, I have not confirmed this fact with staff. Overall, Costco is an excellent place to buy anything your family needs. And the healthy options are becoming the norm there. Bravo Costco!

Gotta love Costco. The are some misconceptions about the pseudo wholesaler, though. First, you do not have to be a business owner to be a member. Small businesses may benefit from going to Costco, but anyone can pay the membership and head on in. Next, the are large sizes available for most stock, but unlike the exaggerated jokes, Costco doesnt truly offer bulk items. They just tend toward extra large supplies, so you can stock up. Third, while its not a myth per-se, the ability to use credit cards is limited but still effectively pretty easy. They used to only accept one type of card, but now you can only use their Citi Bank Visa, which offers some cash back and works like any other Visa. Expect massive apr after the initial period though. Overall, if you buy things for multiple weeks at a time, it might be worth investing in a membership. I love having access to the store, and free samples are absolutely a good thing. Its not for everyone though. If you cant pay $55 at one time in a year to potentially save several hundred, its not the place for you, but if you know you can head in several times through the year, its worth it.

I use Costco as my pharmacy because its close, but my last two visits have definitely made it unlikely for me to return, regardless of its convient location. On two separate occasions, I have waited 1 1/2 hours for two prescriptions. Previously, I had never waited longer than 40 minutes, and that takes into account everytime Ive ever been to any pharmacy. On my last visit, after dropping off my prescription and letting them know I would waiting, they told me it would be about 45 minutes. I waited as patiently as I could, though it should be noted I was visibly in pain, and would regularly cry out. After my initial wait time, I went to check on it and was told it was not ready and asked if I had let them know I was waiting. Did they not put it in correctly, or just not care? This happened twice more before I couldnt take it any longer. I simply cannot stress enough how awful the times are here, and how poor the service is in combination. Will not return, and would not recommend.

Shopped at many costco stores over the years, my main gripe w/ them here at chicos costco is the bedding, primarily the sheets...... Only california king! This size bed is not the common most loved size for a king (narrow and long, for tall people); looking around I dont see an unusually tall populace here in chico. That being said I inquired as to why this is and not one person can give me a good explanation not one! Needless to say I have to hear from my family in washington state how great the portugese flannel sheet sets they buy from costco for 35.00 are so nice........ really chaps my hide I have to say!!!!! I think northern california (I guess its regional) is a dumping ground for this ca king size, since they barely sell anywhere in the country! Shame on you costco here in chico....... now my dollars go elsewhere!
