Was told to get to the tire center at 9:45 on Sunday to get our new tire put on and our spare taken off. There was a door that we would use to get to the tire service at that time. I got there early and got in line at that door. Several other people arrived too as they were told the same thing. Tire employees showed up and went in through the car stall garages and were aware of us in a line. 9:45 came and went. Some other customer came out from the front main entrance and said there were some power issues so they wouldnt open up till 10. Odd for there to be very specific 15 min power issues, but whatever. We knock several times leading up till 10. 10 comes and goes and finally some guy comes out of the stall and announces they do not open early on Sunday. He is sorry another employee had told all of us separately that they would be open at 9:45 (no reference to any power event). He then tells us we cant come in that door and have to go to the main entrance. Going that way put us behind all of the rest of the customers. I went from being at the front of a line at the door we were told to show up at to behind 15-20 people inside the store. I left and called back to make an appointment and complain. The person on the phone mentioned it was a computer issue and that they do nomally open at 9:45. So 3 separate employees all have different stories. Either they dont open at 9:45, there was a power issue, there was a computer issue, and that they do normally open at 9:45. Why not come out and communicate to the customers and let us know this door would not be opened early? They saw us there. Why at 10 did they make us go all the way around to the main entrance? Obviously people can enter this door as the man I spoke to on the phone told me to go to that door on Monday. Very frustrating experience and I would not recommend to anyone to get their tires or service from this location.

Costco will definitely save you money. However you first have to endure a Mad Max style fight for a parking space that will inevitably be half a mile from the store. Then you have to weave your way to the entrance past people who appear to never have been outside before because they just stand in your way staring vaguely out at the world in wide-eyed beffudlement. Inside the store the narrow aisles are crowded by families that seem to be having reunions there because theres about 80 of them and theyre all just standing around chatting and blocking your access to the paper towels. Once you push past the families, you will feel a surge of triumph, only to get stuck behind a person who is leaning on their shopping cart and walking at a snails pace through the only gap in the aisle. On top of all of this, stock is constantly shifted around the store on purpose to force you to walk down more aisles and encourage impulse buying. If you manage to get everything on your list, then you get to settle into what looks like a Soviet-era bread line to check out. And finally, finally, you get to leave. Except that just getting out the door requires that you wait in another line behind carts being pushed around wildly by packs of children with no supervision, senior citizens with leg braces, and yet another family of 27. This is to prevent theft, but the person checking your groceries just takes your receipt and scrawls a stripe on it with a hilighter while they look off into the distance with dead eyes. If you manage to make it back to your car with all of your items and you havent lost your temper, then your trip to Costco has technically been a success.

When I became a member of Costco, I would be shopping at the Mack Road facility. I never did like that place. Exact reasons why, I cant put my finger on, though it was always over crowded, the food court is inside (makes for loud crowded eating), and the parking is impossible. I then moved and started using the Expo Costco. What an improvement! Fewer people (at the time though it has grown in popularity since), outdoor food court, well organized isles (though they do have the tendency to move things around at times). Their photo department is of quality. The product they put out has been consistent and very good. The thing that impresses me is there is little employee turnaround in that department. I see the same people there time and time again. This, to me - a photographer - assures me that the quality will be steady without the need for training time when new people come in. Kudos to this department for being managed well. I have never had issues with any of the personnel. Most are eager to help when I have had questions and they are at most times, friendly. I can accept the occasional, somewhat distant (I wont say rude) temper as everyone has bad days. The return lines are fairly swift and helpful. Never had any questions with my returns. My yearly rebate comes in the form of a check which I can use easily at any checkout counter. I wish theyd allow for me to utilize it for my membership fees, however, thats not to be. Otherwise, I have absolutely no problems with this company or this facility.

HORRIBLE! Why do we go there in the masses? What do we really save? Think about it, $50 bucks for yearly membership in a club that offers nothing to its customers. Parking is life threatening and full of the most rude people you will ever meet! I have gone there 3 or 4 times a year and every time its a heart attack waiting to happen. People crowd in line, they bump you in the food lanes, they park their fat asses in the lanes to snack on free crap, and this clogs the flow of baskets so you can;t even speak a loud "excuse me" to move around them. Prices are not much less than Nugget, the managers have no interest in your concerns or complaints, gas is a whopping 2 cents a gallon less than open market. Really people why do we do this to ourselves? I will NEVER renew membership again and this business is no better than WalMart shoppers and management. I want to spend my money in a store where employees will appreciate my business. This places SUCKS and is a great place for more RUDE AMERICANS and FOREIGNERS to co-mingle.!!!!! You can have it.

You can buy a lot of stuff there in bulk; for example, 8 dollars can get you three bottles of carrot juice, which would cost you 5 dollars for just one of those bottles at Walmart. Not a lot of cool stuff there that really wows you. Free samples is cool, but not a whole bunch of free samples and not all those free samples taste that amazing and it takes quite a bit of time for the employees there to prepare the food and beverages for people to sample. Their pizza is good, but you got to wait like 40 minutes or something for you to get your pizza. Long lines in the food court and when you have to pay for your groceries. They give you free boxes so no having to bring your own plastic bags over there. Not a professional, just some guy expressing his own personal opinion to the world, so dont hate me.
