I had a horrible customer service experience here. Summary: They wrote down the wrong value on my prescription and wouldnt cover to cost to fix my glasses that were made incorrectly! The Dr. wrote down a wrong number on my Prescription... I ordered my glasses online (not from Costco) and the left lens was not even close to being correct. Some time elapsed before I could look into it because I left town for an extended period... To make a long story short, the Dr. eventually recognized and acknowledged that they wrote the wrong value on my prescription, When I asked if they would cover the cost of fixing the prescription he said it wasnt his fault because it was the other doctor that made the mistake. I said it wasnt my fault... He said he was sorry and maybe the Glass Vendor would fix it for me. They said they wont, and I dont blame them its not their fault. When I was leaving the Dr. said they would waive the fee for the office visit (where they discovered their error), so at least I didnt have to pay for that... Gee Thanks, like I was going to pay him for finding their mistake. I feel like I should charge them for my wasted time in addition to the cost of fixing the glasses. My advice: Go to a place that takes care of their customers and fixes their mistakes.

Costco is the "ultimate shopping experience" for anyone who loves to save a lot of money, doesnt mind waiting a little in line, and who enjoys the variety of products they offer at various times of the year. Though they have a limited selection of 4000+ items or so, they are constantly rotating them and create a shopping experience of "guess what Costco offered today?" that you share with your spouse over dinner. Very professional management team at this locale. Have loved the pharmacy staff for over 15 years, and the marketing/membership, photo and optometry departments seem to really exceed most shopping experiences Ive had at other retailers. Thank you Costco. As a Black Card holder I always receive money back at the end of the year too. I love that. Keep up the great work!! Also aoo. Thanks. Yes, Costco is awesome but this one seems to have have the biggest problem Ive encountered with customers feeling no obligation or simple human courtesy to return their shopping carts or at the least place them in the cart corals that are placed throughout the parking lot. Its very common to see drivers lose their temper over parking spots and have no decency to stop for pedestrians walking out of the store to cross the parking lot. Please stop being lazy and just walk your cart back instead of leaving it in open parking spots! The Manteca store is way better at addressing this issue.

Recently moved here from north Orange County. This is the worst Costco I have ever been to. They have it organized horribly. I made my mother in law go for me because I cant handle taking small children to this store. She came home annoyed and frustrated. She couldnt find several items and went to the manager to complain. He told her that they put things in random places to get people to wonder around the store and buy more. I will now try and go to Costco in Turlock. But I really miss Sams Club.

This location is always busy with their food court. Long lines almost every day no matter the time. Once had an issue with a spanish male cashier who we thought may be trying to collect reward points using someone else s Costco Card and not using ours. Complained to manager, never saw that cashier again work there. This isnt my favorite place to shop just because people do not know us there. Customer Service seems semi rude.

Understaffed and not capable of meeting the demands of customers. The front desk employee constantly running from front to back to speak with tire mechanics. That leaves the entire front shop empty to entering customers. Why not another means of communication? An unexpected trip out of town forced me to go to Costco for a tire rotation. What decent tire center makes customers wait 2.5 hours??? Never, ever, ever again.

I just had the worst experience trying to order checks for my business!! The lady at the counter was very rude and sarcastic when I told her that I wasnt an executive member and had no desire to be!! I will be taking my business to Turlock from here on out!! That was my 2nd bad experience at that Costco!! Employees should be better trained in customer service for sure!! On our way to Turlock now!! Your loss!!!

This is a typical Cosco with all the good stuff. However, they have the longest lines on the food court of any of the Coscos I have been to. In addition, Modesto is very hot in the summer and half of the food court line is in direct sunlight. Here is a parking tip: for closest parking park on the west side of the building. Also, there are some trees in the parking lot to shade your car.

I love my local Costco. The employees are terrific, and the majority of those employees have been there forever!!! I love them - they know me, and I know them. Its a great place to shop. Even when its closing time, they dont rush you out. They take good care of you and try to help you where they can. I really like this place!!! Thanks for being there Costco!

Called in a pizza order to be ready in an hour since I was driving from work to the Costco. When I got there, they made me wait in the non-preorder line for 35 minutes. Not a good price for my time and frustration about the line. Do not get pizza here unless you go through the store and preorder that way. Theres always papa johns across the street.

I love Costco but this location is always too crowded. The check out lines in the store and at the deli are ridiculous and they always seem understaffed. They frequently run out of products and carts. I used to look forward to shopping at Costco and now I dread dealing with this location. They need to build a second location in Modesto.

I love Costco and their products. Im sure many know what Costco sales, as a wholesale store, so I will add my only complaint is the check out process. There are never enough cashiers so the lines are long and its always a pain leaving as you funnel out as you are checked at the door to make sure you didnt steal anything.

DONT EVER BUY TIRES FROM COSTCO !! I spent 2k on tires only to have to pay 60 to have my new bmw 535i towed back to my house with new tires in back seat 1 broken valve stem n 4 flat tires all because they werent able to get 2 lug nuts off the worst service the rudest manager ever.dont waste ur time or money there!

Today , a Costco employee while skateboarding a huge cart that is used to carry furniture almost ran me and my wife over as we approached the store. he thought it was pretty cute ha! ha!, then walking by the cell phone center t) a guy was talking to fellow employees about a civil war to change the status quo !!!
