Ive lived in Altadena for 25 years and used these guys the entire time. Super friendly staff that is willing to talk to you and offer advice. Of course they dont have the selection of a Home Depot, but who cares. For 85% of what you need these guys have it and unlike the big box stores theyll actually talk to you and take the time to understand your project. Very friendly. Love these guys.

Precisely what a top tier True Value Hardware store should be. Large selection and superb staff who are familiar with inventory as well as how to use materials. Family owns a 2nd hardware store in the Greater LA area and what one doesnt have can usually be brought from the other. Family owned, friendly and a true asset to the community.

Friendly, helpful, knowledgable staff—I have a hard time remembering all their names; my problem. Great selection of light bulbs, some hard to find, from efficient halogen lamps to ultra efficient LEDs. Strong selection of garden stuff. And my personal fav... American made tools, nuts and bolts.
