I heard about harbor freight from close friends. I had visited new location in Downey, ca. I like what seing while walking throughout the store and pick up several things. While checking out at register I told cashier I had left my coupon in car if he could wait to go crab it to get discount. He said no worries I could gave it to you anyway. I said thats very nice of you. I had purchase several items with large discount with coupon.so I trusted the cashier to keep his word by having me the coupon prices in the end he only gave me $13off of total bill. But when I had look at coupon just one items from my purchase should be discounted $20. I had went back to talk to manager what I came out to findout cashier was manager and clearly told me that discount with coupon. But that what said prior of purchase I could have move on side walk to my car and grab the coupon. So it said when you put trust in person like that.

I was able to find a tool I had been looking for all over town. Harbor Freight had it in stock and for a very low rate compared to all other places. Once I arrived after calling to find out if the item i was looking for was in stock, I was greeted very friendly by the staff and directed me to the location where to find my item. The staff at Harbor Freight is very knowledgeable in all the areas of the store and where to find what customers are looking for even referring them a different way or different item to use to the task they want to accomplish . I have been very happy and satisfied shopping at Harbor freight

I tried to buy a tool box 3 times and every time Im told they have the tool box, but can not get it off the top warehouse shelf, because they dont have a licensed forklift operator. How do you run a business like this. We have what you want, but you cant have it.

Customer service has always Sucked!!! Older gentleman asked to speak with manager and without fail cashier rolls her eyes and calls manager over with attitude. What ever happened to..... Yes, sir no problem will call him over for you.

Merchandise is extremely cheap. I bought a jack and only used it 3 times and out of no where it just stopped working and broke down. I do not recommend that anyone buy anything from here. Complete garbage.

When you need cheap tools that youre only going to use a couple of times, I strongly recommend the sfuff here at Harbor Freight. Store is clean and they always got a ton of stuff on sale.
