Tom from B & B Hardware is an absolutely amazing human being! We just move into a 1914 Craftsman house in Long Beach and I called to ask his opinion about a front door that would not close/lock properly and about the hardware that was hanging by one single screw. Tom suggested a lock & key company first, but then simply showed up to see what we were dealing with himself. I did not ask him to stop by...I know how busy this businessman is. But lo and behold, Tom shows up, makes a couple of "in the meantime" repairs and over the next several weeks, helps us fix the door/lock and get it back to tip top shape. Tom is not out to make a fast buck. It is evident by his actions that he genuinely cares about his customers, his neighbors and the beautiful historic homes that are an important part of Long Beach. I hope that you will shop at B & B Hardware whenever you need something for your historic home...you will be delighted. You are a gem, Tom! Thank you!
