Friendly staff, if a little un-organized. Called on a car they had listed for sale on their website. A BMW 128i. I spoke to a female saleswoman who told me I couldnt drive it because it was going into the shop for a recall, but I could view it. So I let her know Id be there around 6PM. I drove out from Chandler, and my saleswoman I had spoken to was busy, so she promptly handed me off to another associate named Andre, who took me to view the vehicle. The car was in really bad shape. When I opened the hood it was caked with thick dirt and mud. Even my 20 year old 3-series has a cleaner engine bay. I figured Id still try for the car in hopes it would clean up nice. They let me know it would be available to drive Wednesday. Admittedly I rescheduled to Thursday for the actual appointment to talk numbers, and wanted to come out today 7/5/17 for the test drive. I called again to see if I could pre-approve financing through the dealership, pending me driving the vehicle. Natasha in finance was very courteous and prompt. I received a call back later advising me of my expected down payment. I said that would be fine and still wanted to look at the vehicle. I was told by my salesman he was concerned about the size of my downpayment, (Im a first time buyer) and I told him the downpayment would not be a problem, but I wanted to talk about the price of the vehicle. I sent my salesman two identical models, with identical equipment, and with less miles, listed at other dealerships IN TOWN. One of the cars I sent was even the same color. Earnhardt had theirs listed at 13k, while the two I sent were listed at 10,500, and 11,000 respectively. I asked if they could match the price or offer me any incentive to buy with them, especially considering the vehicle was modified by the previous owner. They flat out said "no", and that the price was fixed (albeit $500 lower than it is on their website). Throughout the process, I felt like I was not being taken seriously because I am a first time buyer. Even after saying to everyone I spoke with I would have no problem meeting the downpayment requirement. Not only that, but the fact that they are unwilling to budge price on a car theyve marked up so highly when I was trying my hardest to give them my business shows me that thus dealer doesnt care about you unless you walk in to buy a car without asking questions. I called a dealer selling the same car, same color with lower mileage earlier today and they were more than to happy schedule an appointment, with much less down, and a much better price. Would not recommend this dealer unless they have something you absolutely MUST have.

Sleazy salesmen. I went in to buy a used Jeep and after a successful test drive we went to talk numbers. I showed the salesman a listing for the exact same Jeep in California (same year, trim, color, but less miles) that was listed for over $3,000 less than what they were asking. I told him I wanted that price and if they couldnt get to that number then Id go to California. From the start he never took me serious and he judged me for being a young girl. He asked me in a snarky tone if, "I even knew my credit score?". Even after telling him I have a 737 score, he still took me for dumb. He made me wait while he "went to fight for me" with his manager. After about 20 minutes he comes back excited telling me that he got the deal. When I asked why my payments were more than I asked for his response was, "well youre a server". How does that have any correlation?? He implied multiple times that my job was an issue in getting the price I wanted, which makes no sense. Then I noticed that they had me financing 26k when they were only asking 23k and I was putting down 4; I was furious. Obviously he didnt even go to his manager with my offer and just assumed I wouldnt notice. The icing on the cake was when his manager came over and said, "I feel like all you care about is the price, interest rate and payments". DUH! He rudely stated that he was nowhere near my asking price, at which point I left. Needless to say, it was the worst car buying experience Ive had. People should be treated with respect and decency and that was not the case with the salesmen at this dealer. All things happen for a reason though...Today I bought a 2014 Jeep Wrangler (one year newer then the one I looked at with them) with less miles and for LESS OTD then their asking price and a lot less then what they had me at for their OTD price. Good dealerships and car salesmen still exist!! Theyre just at Jones Auto Center and not Earnhardt Mazda in Scottsdale.

Im one of those customers who will do their research and shop around (online/text/phone) first before heading in to buy something.Yes, Im one of the millennial-- most of us will not drive around the valley looking for deals especially in the digital/social media age :/ Ive decided to go with Earnhard Mazda of Scottsdale after doing my research and shopping around. I bought a new car from them today (3/12/2017). The overall buying process was SUPERB!. I got the the BEST DEAL in the COUNTY on the car and everything they said via text/email/phone are TRUE. I dont know how many dealers will tell you that they will get "this incentive if a customer finance through a particular bank". Im the "saying it like it is type" so theres nothing I like better when a seller is upfront with me from the get go. I would recommend Earnhardt Mazda of Scottsdale if you are looking to buy a Mazda. If you are there ask for Alisha :) She was very helpful to me. If you have any problem what so ever (if any) talk to Gary Johnson. Yes.. His name is Gary Johnson, Sales Manager of Earnhardt Mazda of Scottsdale. A happy customer will be a repeat customer! Ill be back for another Mazda on December 2017!

First off I do work for the dealership. I have been selling cars in the valley since 2001 and today I was truly amazed by something my General Manager did for exceptional service. He received a call from a customer that we have sold a few cars in the past. It was to see if we could help a good friend of hers get into a new Mazda. Frank Stevens went over the deal with me. As I am the Finance Director of the store and we called the customer and got her approved on a brand new Mazda CX-3. What really amazed me is Frank called the customer this morning and she was in Prescott, about a hour and a half away. Instead of grabbing a porter or a salesman, he tells the customer, he personally would drive to Prescott and pick her up. Yes he the General Manager of the store dropped everything he had to do at the store and drive for three hours on a Friday to pick her up. I have never witnessed this buy a GM, GSM, or even a Sales Manager. I was not asked to put this post up my anyone, it just solidified why I have work with Frank for almost 4 years. And yes she is a very happy customer for life. Thank you Frank for all you do for me, my family and all our customers and future customers.
