I live in Albuquerque and I want to go here and use them for all of my cell phone needs ...... Yesterday 12-3-2016 my daughter was going through an emotionally hard time resulting from a recent separation from her (and I say this loosely) stupid ass"husband"..... anywayz all of sudden her iPhone speaker / audio and other problems were happening with her phone She called her carrier which was a mess because her phone was almost inoperable. They were talking like a 500 dollar replacement! She texted me. She was already hurting because of that - jacked up excuse of a man, soul-less S O B - (sigh) Where was I? Oh yeah, So I told her what to do in finding a repair service. She found these people but way way late at the end of their work day She came 1 minute before closing with her tear stained face and pretty frantic - shaking etc told them her situation.... and I have no idea who the Angel was that came to her rescue but do you know he helped her? She did not have to leave her phone and wait until Monday to get it back. He fixed everything right then and there. He stayed late for my daughter , went out of his way for Her .... he did so much more for her then to just fix her phone. She was lifted up, happy, texted me with her experience. Which made happy too. All for 110 dollars ! They, He, whoever He was, is worth much more than that. I m from Phoenix so I will be recommending this place to my friends and family there... make sure to visit here if you are having problems. : - ) Good People.

I wanted to re-task my Lumia 925 as a backup phone to my new Lumia 1520.3. I had to switch to a nano-SIM for the 1520 so needed an adapter for it to work in the 925. Long story short: when I went to test the SIM and adapter in the 925 the SIM shifted in the adapter and jammed the tray. When removed it bent one of the three SIM connectors and broke another. I really didnt want to send a $400 phone to who knows where for who knows what results, so looked and found Sun Cellular. At first Dan thought the SIM unit would be surface mounted to a main board and a high risk to replace plus he would have to order the part. But he took the time to carefully dissemble the phone and found the unit was NOT part of another board and was easily accessible. So he straightened the bent pin and soldered an extension on the broken one and it all worked perfectly. I was more than pleasantly surprised when he quoted $20 for the job. If I ever need a phone worked on again. This is where I am going. And I am happy to know that Nokia (now Microsoft) builds phones that are not a nightmare to repair.

This is the only place I go to when I have any questions or issues with my phone. Honestly I never go into my servicer providers office or stores because of all the bs and charges, hidden fees. Ect. Ive been coming to sun cellular for about 5 years now. Ive had work done on a Samsung Note 1,2,4,and 5 Samsung Galaxy s5 S7 All with flawless results. Seriously flawless. Main reason why this is the best way to go with any cell phone needs.. They care. Like actually care about you money and your phone... they dont sell u stuff. They give u what u ask for and you leave happy. Not leaving with a new phone charged 699.99 plus your old phones bill and drama...like other places. I read the review... called a got a phone quote... decided to shop... called 10 other places... most of the message machines were full... no other messages... Thank you... click. After two hours of trying to reach a person and receive another quote... gave up and went to Sun Cellular. Fast efficient service... great job... stands behind his work... I had the glass replaced in my new droid... apparently sometimes dead spots show up... no problems yet... I definitely recommend this shop as the only place I would take my phone... especially since I still have not received any phone calls back where I did leave my phone number... like a ghost world out there... nice to see a craftsman skilled at his job that actually answers his phone... what a concept... got a phone issue... this is the only place!

Great service, great price, friendly staff. I dropped my mytouch 4g and cracked the screen. As I use my phone constantly including for work, being without it is not an option for me. I searched online, found the screen for $90.00, Id have to install it myself. And of course it would take several days. T-Mobile needed a week and over $140.00. A quick online search for someone local, turned up Sun Cellular. I called and spoke to Dan, who had my screen in stock, and informed me he could do it while I waited. I showed up, was greeted promptly and told to give him 45 minutes or so. I walked next door, got lunch at Subway and returned to find my phone as good as new. The best part? $85.00, installed. Couldnt possibly be any happier.Thanks Dan!

I would recommend Dan and Sun Cellular to anyone. I tried to fix my screen and digitizer myself and it didnt go well. The input where the digitizer plugs into the board was all messed up and wouldnt connect. I took it to Sun Cell, met Dan. He tried to fix it even though it was not fixable. I left the phone with him just in case he got a phone in that was scrap that he could take the part from and somehow put it in my phone. I moved to Minnesota just a few weeks later and Dan stuck to his word and fixed it and mailed it to me in MN. He barely charged me anything. I have recomended him to so many people and they all had an awesome experience. You would be a fool to go anywhere else.

Dropped my Galaxy s3 and cracked the screen, Sun Cellular fixed it in 2 days! (EXCELLENT) What the owner DID NOT tell me was that he BROKE MY (in new condition) frame in the process!! Instead of telling me what had happened, ordering a new one and replacing it he put the new screen in an OLD POJ frame he had at the shop hoping I would not notice!! I did and asked him, he said he broke it & would make it right. I offered to split the cost of a new frame ($25) no he said “he will take care of it”. 7 months later he has taken care of nothing.. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SUN CELLULAR— NO INTEGERITY OR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Took phone in for broken screen. Got it back a week later since he broke an internal part and had to get a new circuit board. No big deal. When I did get phone back the screen was not flush with phone. It stuck out a lot. Again no biggie I guess. Volume buttons did not work. Kind of annoying. So took it back and he promised a new phone since he could not fix these problems. Since then either said the phone was on the way or avoided my phone calls. A month later and I bought a new phone. Avoid this place. Thats my advice.
