Hookup Cellular was great. They got me the part to fix my Samsung S-4 for $8 and a tool kit for another $8 that was MUCH needed to do the job (a great little tool kit for future as well). I made the terrible mistake of stopping at Sprint and asking for their repair dept.. Rather than tell me that they didnt have repairs on-site any longer, they chose to waste my time and hide how they were doing it. The salesman took my phone and said "Ill just check it out and be right back". Realistically, he just wanted to pull up my sprint account and see if he could upsell me products and services. He had NO intention of helping me what so ever. So, after they made me wait while they pulled up various information on my account, to see if they could earn commissions off of me, they came back and said "we dont do service here, you have to go somewhere else if you want repairs". Ive been a loyal customer to Sprint for 10+ years now (I have no idea why) and rather than listen to what I wanted and needed, the Sprint salesman didnt care and insisted on continuing to tell me that "you are eligible for an upgrade, which is a much better financial decision than fixing your current phone". I doubt he graduated HS algebra, so his prudent financial consultation of forecasting my future fiscal amortization of a cell phone purchase wasnt on the top of my list to hear about. After continuously trying to sell me a new phone and new contract, (again, I told them over and over that I wasnt interested) when they finally told me that they didnt do service there anymore and I needed to go somewhere else, I drove to the other Sprint store that had "service". When I arrived at Sprints service center (a 20 minute drive away) they also tried to sell me new phones, new plans, new leases, etc.. Are you kidding me??? Finally, I said that I wasnt remotely interested in buying anything from them, their conclusion was to charge "their customer" $75 for this part that takes about 4 minutes to install and is all over the internet for $5-8. By the way, this was a phone that I had exchanged only (4) months ago, and they said that "you can call Samsung to try to get this warrantied by them, but we dont warranty them here". OK, I am done ranting about Sprint, I am sorry (maybe I need to see a counselor about Sprint? :)). Hook up Cellular had great prices on great products. Equally important is that they are competent people who care to understand your questions and help you get answers. I will definitely shop there again!

We found this store from Craigslist, they are so friendly over the phone and been so helpful before we got there. We lived three hours away from them; finally made a trip down to phoenix to settle our iPhone4 problems. Jj is the one good at iPhones and Jason is good at android...FYI! Jj told us the phone is still under apple warranty so we can just go to store to get the new one....he is very very honest,didnt try to work on the phone and try to get money from us. We did go to apple store to get the new iPhone4 for free !!!!!! Then we took the phone back to the store to have Jj and Jason unlock and jailbreak. Unlock process took only few minutes. Everything went so smooth and we enjoyed our time waiting there also; big comfy couch to seat on and books to read. We wanted a gevy ultra that doesnt not have to dial 112, but they dont have it that day( the guest before bought the last one...) Jj and Jason offered us to use the other gevy sim card they have for now and wait for another ultra got delivered to thier store they will ship it to us and we ship back to them .. in this way we can have a iPhone 4 to use for our t-mobile right away and save one three hours ride to the store. They are so nice and we have everything we need !!! Thank u Jj and Jason :)

The staff are very nice and helpful. They wont tell you to buy a part that you dont need. In fact, the employee told me to buy a cheaper part for my phone and it would do just the same. The only thing I would complain about is that while Im checking out, his cell phone rang and he answered it. He must take business calls from his cell phone because I stood at the counter waiting for him to finish my transaction while he was on the phone answering questions. He did apologize, but I stood there for about 5 minutes while he was on the phone. Also, he said that the part I was buying was in deed the correct part I needed but the label on the part said different. He clarified that even though the part number on the label didnt match the part number on my invoice that it was the right part. I got home to find out it was not the right part and have to go back to exchange it. When I called to inform them of the inconvenience, they offered to credit my account there $10. Im okay with that. Other than that, Im happy with this business.

I never leave reviews but I had to for this place. Total SCAM! Do Not Go Here!!!! Called about bringing Ipad 2 in for screen repair for $160, They said it would be done in 2-3 hours. I brought it in, they told me I had to come back tomorrow, then they called the next day and said it would be done after 12 noon. Then called again 20 minutes till 12 and said it would be an extra $30 due to complications. I said just forget the whole thing and I would come pick it up. I went to pick up my ipad and It was DESTROYED and non functioning, when I brought it in, it was working perfectly, just a crack on the screen. It is now in pieces and I have to find a new place to take it in. The College Student employees were incredibly rude and unprofessional. JayJay was the one in charge and carelessly tossed my ipad on the counter saying he didnt want to deal with it twice. They tried to charge me a service fee on top of all of it. I would highly advise against going here. Good Luck!

Recently purchased a part and Im pleased to say that the employees were friendly this time. They seemed to really be able to work as a team because they seamlessly handed handed customers to the appropriate person and took care of business quickly. Best part was the prices are competitive with eBay and blow Amazon out if the water. Prior Review "Ive purchased some parts on about half a dozen occasions. Their prices are competitive with other suppliers with no shipping time and you can support a local company. My only problem is the employees seem unfriendly. In the store there is the unmistakable scent of Hipster Douche. The employees do their job by getting my items and accepting payment, but would a smile or "Thanks for shopping" be too much? Maybe I just catch them right before naptime or something."
