This is honestly a first impression & follow up review, Midway Nissan at first seemed great when we arrived we were greeted, quickly helped & since we came in with a car wed seen online already in mind, it was quickly found & our whole deal started. As a first time car buyer I didnt have any real credit to help me get a low payment on the rather inexpensive used car I had found, I was consulted to pick a newer car but I was set on the 2014 Nissan Versa so my consultant let me know that adding a cosigner would help if I could find one & that they had a great program that gave cosigners a $1000 incentive to cosign & so off course I was quickly able to have my roommate of good credit to cosign, he himself was told hed receive the $1000 after a year & so we signed the papers made the deal, got told a whole bunch of amazing apparent lies. Come now 4 months later we come in to schedule an oil change & ask for some type of verification on the cosign deal & we are told our consult is "no longer here", 1st red flag, then we are told to come in as early tomorrow as we can(they open at 7) so we schedule our oil change, which is supposed to be free with our maintenance package, @8am so were early but in a pretty safe zone for lateness...well come now the day of our oil change we are told the maintenance package is not in their system for our car, OK, so we are told we need to pay for the oil change we had been was included in our maintenance package. After explaining the odd situation to our Service assistant, Dustin he lets us know its not in the computer but since its our first oil change the dealership will provide it for free & so thank you Dustin. We now walk to the office to talk to the manager we had been told just yesterday could help us with the cosigner deal & we are helped by Marco who lets us know that apparently no one who worked on our contract works there except for an Anel, we tell him we are here to speak to a manager, we were just told yesterday to come in early to talk to this manager & he basically informs us that no one else can help us but Anel & that we must come back @12...yesterday we were told first thing in the morning & now its 12pm. The whole thing is that apparently nobody can help us, weve been bounced back & forth around like a ping pong ball & now we have to wait hours before anybody can help us. Honestly I do not recommend these people, it seems they all just shift blame & take no responsibility. The only good thing from this experience was that I ultimately got the car I found online that I wanted but thats just about it...my consultant had been weird from the start but now I have to suffer for their lack of experienced sales people & staff, they all just act lost, except for Dustin he was straight forward but if you want an honest and accountable dealership then this place is definitely not for you...if you expect any help past the day that you sign your contract this place is definitely not for you...& if you expect them to say anything true or accurate then this place is not for you, one person tells you one thing & another will tell you something else... If youre making a commitment to buy a car from here beware that theyll just make it an incredibly annoying situation in the long haul, youre better off at another Nissan.

****DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP****THEY STEAL FROM VETERANS**** I went to buy a car and they quoted me a price too good to be true. The only reason why I believed it was because they had the GENERAL SERVICE MANAGER, MR. ED BROWN, come out to the floor to assure me that the deal was legit and the only addition to the price would be taxes and fees. I said ok and agreed to the deal and I gave them my down payment while I was waiting for finance come get me to sign papers. Of course, when it came time to sign papers, there was a charge of $3000 for "OTHER", which is the same amount they told me Peoria Nissan was going to charge me to jack up the price of a better deal they offered me. When I told the finance gentleman, TONY CHARDULLY, that I wasnt supposed to be charged this because the GSM, MR. ED BROWN, told me I would not be charged the reconditioning fee, he said "Well nothings free." I reiterated that the GSM, MR. ED BROWN, his boss, said it was free. He continued to be condescending with the comment "Like I said, nothings free." So I told him thank you but I will not be buying the car and I got up to head to the front desk to get my down payment back. He proceeded to be condescending and rude by stating "Look sir, Im not going to beg you to buy this car but those services arent free" I told him good because Im not going to buy it. Then I enlightened him on how rude and condescending he was being and I want an apology and he should never talk to a customer like that. He apologized (in a half ass way) and he left. Another finance gentleman, Marco Gonzales, came to get my card to refund the money they took just a few hours earlier. He came back with my card and a receipt saying they voided the sale but after 3 weeks the charge is still on my card. This happened on May 26th, the week after Memorial Day weekend, which is disturbing to me being a vet because I dont understand how a business could steal from a vet after a holiday honoring military members, specifically ones that gave the ultimate sacrifice. Now obviously I was fortunate enough to come back home after multiple deployments but that still says a lot about a group of people that disrespect veterans the way they did. I have called multiple times to rectify the situation but as soon as someone on the phone looks up the info on the transaction they hang up on me or say theyll call me back and never do. THEY STEAL FROM VETERANS. How low do you have to be to steal money from someone that gave up their own freedoms being military so they can be here selling cars on a holiday honoring military??!? I am reporting them for credit card fraud. The worst part about this whole thing is that the GSM, MR. ED BROWN, was there the whole time and never stepped in to honor the deal HE PERSONALLY offered me. That is a very cowardly thing to do. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP because they are CRIMINALS that commit GRAND LARCENY. In addition to the credit card fraud charges I will be making a report to the Better Business Bureau. I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP

Update.... Aaron called me this morning (which was the very next mornin). He wanted to know some more information about what happened last night. We had a nice chat about what happened. He let me vent my frustration about the situation and listened. It did sounds like at the very least he cared and wanted to do something to make up for it. I will update again in about a week to see what happens. .................................... Hidden Fees! Disrespect may or may not be due to being a young woman. I spoke with Joe. He was friendly as he was getting me into the dealership. He set me up with an appointment with Victor who seems reasonable enough for a car salesman. I had the same experience as ismael ortiz. The car online was a little over 12 thousand. At another dealership I qualified for an 8.8 % interest rate just a few days ago. I test drive the car no issues. We go back and I have to sign a paper to agree to time commitment? Anyway, they add $1881 for service fees (oil change, tire rotation, etc.). This should be included on the price, instead of a fee you dont find out about until you go to finance the car. Then the payments were not what I expected either. So I did the math over and over. It wasnt making sense. It was the same payment as a car that was 22,000 at the other dealer. I was calm as I was questioning how they got their figures. So, he went back to verify the info. I dont know what was said bc Joe came into the office with Victor holding a piece of paper with a horrible attitude, as if he is talking to a child who is in trouble and needs to put me in my place. I got that feeling before he even started speaking to me. Then he was overly firm with everything he was saying. When I saw the paper it had me paying over 14000 so I no longer had the Internet price, over 12% interest rate, and the taxes and registration was 2300. And this is BEFORE warranty and gap. It was a Jeep Compass. Over 36,000 miles and a past rental car. Online price a little over 12,000 to 72 months @ 444 a month. A 12 thousand dollar car was going to be over 31 thousand?! Give me a break. Dont give me this bs about not qualifying for the internet price either. After Joe came in with that attitude I pretended to be civil but in reality I was just filled with rage. All I wanted was to know how they got their numbers. Oh, and the bank required the loan to be for over 20,000 dollars. I wasted time, gas, and time in my life that I will never get back. I will never come here again. I will also warn others away from here. I didnt even haggle the price down on the car before getting to the paperwork. Joe was not willing to work with me. I feel like I was being treated like that was because Im young and a female. If i was a male he would have been treated me differently. Victor answered a lot of my questions and was respectful at least to my face during the entire experience. Im a forward person so I like my answers straight. I still expect respect though.
