After verizon announced their unlimited plan I was overjoyed. Having been a previous Sprint customer and dealing with shoddy service I was excited to move to Verizon- about the same prices for a better plan overall. I soon realized that it was too good to be true. When I went in to trade-in my previous phone I was told that I would have been able to start paying off my phone specifically(NOT INCLUDING THE BILL, which i reiterated numerous times- just the direct phone payoff) with their trade-in credit and visa option. My worry was that I had spent time with Sprint paying off my previous iPhone 7+ and didnt want to start over again. I was added on to my brothers plan- all seemed well. Once my brother received the Verizon credit egift card I called in to see if I could pay off part of my balance- I was told by a customer service representative that I was unable to do so over the phone and would have to go into the store in order to apply the payment. So next day I went in to the store. Was told by a representative at this location that I would not be able to pay off the phone balance in increments to lower my payments- I would have to pay the whole phone off at once. Wasnt told this. Verified with two different representatives that this would not be the case. So moving on then I was also told that I would not be able to even pay the phone off with that credit at ALL once I have all of the funds to pay the phone off because they will only take 1 method of payment because you have to pay the phone off all at once. In other words, I cant split the payment up with different cards even if I was going to be paying the balance in full that day. I was told that however I can pay simply my bill with that credit. Great. Fantastic. I accepted the situation and moved on. Later on in the month I went into the store to do exactly as they said I could- pay my bill with the Verizon Credit egift card. Verified my number and the account holders name- paid my half of the bill and was told I was good to go. Got the information as to how to get the rest of my trade in credit with their visa because I wasnt given all of the proper information when purchasing the phone and being added on the plan. Thought all was well. Looking over the finances with my brother (the account holder) today, we saw there was no payment even APPLIED to the account. What I paid that day wasnt showing up in the system! Now I have to runaround to try and find out where the payment was applied to. Sorely disappointed in the result of this situation.

Since September 10 2016, I have been to this store 3 times. Their customer service is horrendous!!!! In 3 visits, they have messed up my requests twice. I ordered a brand new i-phone 7 and they actually ordered me an i-phone 6S. Even though I went in and pre-ordered, because of their mistake i had to wait for the wrong phone to arrive at my home so I could return to their store so that they could order the correct phone. Now I have to wait another 3 weeks for the phone I pre-orderd in the first place. Then I went in to trade in two old i-phones. I asked for specific lines to be accredited with the turn in value. They put the credit on one of the wrong phone lines. Since this place doesnt give you any receipt of transactions that occur during your visit, I didnt realize the mistake until the next day when I received an email from verizon. I didnt want to make another trip so I call customer service. Nice lady (wish I could remember her name) called the store for me to have a conference call. Customer service representative for the Crossroads store, Barbara said that they were too busy to handle my problem and that I would have to come back in. When she found out I was on the other line she didnt want to talk with me at all. Said she was too busy. She also stated that they might not be able to fix the issue anyway. (So why would I make the trip???) Even the customer service person I was on the phone with said that something needed to be done to hold this store and its practices accountable. The Crossroads store rep, Barbara also wouldnt address the incorrect phone being ordered either. She just said, "Yeah its a mess, isnt it." What customer service rep acts like this. I will not be returning to this location ever. They dont care about the quality of service that they provide. I will make sure that I write a review on every possible website so that I can to warn others of their business practices. "Its a mess, isnt it," says Barbara!!!!

Wait times and customer service are horrible. Tried to open an account for a small business, and transfer a line over. Craig G. was the associate helping me (he gave me his card even though I clearly told him I had no interest in his card or working with him again). After dealing with him and his horrible social and customer service skills for almost 2 hours he said he was unable to get the account open due to an unprocessed insurance claim from my wife from over a month ago, even though I showed him the confirmation Verizon sent us saying they received the defective device. I asked to speak with the manager, he was just as helpful...agreed with Craig and told us to call 611 for help. These guys are jokes! Called 611(which was wrong number for what I needed help with, they transferred me). Spoke with a guy who was new didnt know what he was doing he transferred me to his supervisor after my request, and finally I spoke to a competent and knowledgable person almost 4 hours into my saga with Verizon. She was very helpful and resolved all the issues and claimed she had no more juice in system or training than the associates in the branches. She even processed the order for the new phone and transferred the line over. I was so thankful to be done with it all, I tried to see if there was a review or survey I could give on her but there wasnt. I believe in positive reinforcement as much as writing a review like this to expose a horrible business unit. In closing, avoid this place. There is a couple good associates there but rolling the dice on that when time is not a luxury is not worth it. Just call into verizon customer service and ask for a manager. I would change providers but the fact is we are dealing with a oligopoly in america and it doesnt make a difference. So Ill take the hidden fees, shared personal info, and horrific customer service and continue on with life. Thanks guys it was a magical sunday afternoon for me!

I purchased a new IPhone 5c from Craig this week and it was by far the WORST experience I ever had! Lets start with the 25 minute wait, this is unacceptable as a company. Once we finally got down to business it seemed as though he was always "going to check on something". As far as a promotion goes they get you to the store to tell you that theyre out of stock. It doesnt make much sense to be convenient by having stores filled with product and not having any product for the promotion youre ranting about, now does it?? Back to my experience, after Craig tells us theres nothing he can do because theyre out of stock on the iPhone and the iPad that is also being promoted he says he can get it to us in two days...... BUT hell waive the fees so we can have one day shipping and receive it by 3pm the following day. Awesome, great! That IS customer service. Well, it would have been IF he hadnt told us fat lies about getting it waived for the 1 day shipping. Granted I should have known better.. The paperwork I made him print off for me as proof DID say two day shipping but Im no idiot I made sure to ask about that being stated in the paperwork and he GUARANTEED it would arrive the next day by 3, even handed me his business card in case things did not go as offered. This ended with me waiting all day the following day with no phone. Am I pissed? Yes. The phone number that CRAIG offered up was NOT his phone number and lets just say the man does not reply to emails either. Thank you Verizon for having excellent phone service but as far as the "face" of your company.. You may need to do a nip and tuck to the Verizon on Germann in Chandler! Ps Craig was horrible.
