We were in the area waiting on a dinner reservation, so we took the time to browse in the store. We were greeted by the owners and they helped our daughter create a bracelet and helped size one for me. They are so friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell they love what they do!! I only wish they were in the Chicago area. They host birthday parties and offer many other beautiful handmade items other than jewelry! You need to find the time to visit. I plan to try shopping online.

As soon as you walk through the doors, you know this is a special place. The beads are displayed so beautifully and the finished pieces by local artists are inspiring. Im not only a customer, but have become a consigner too. So proud to sell my work at Island Cove!

The people at this well stocked bead shop are very friendly. I walked in to shop and was invited to join a class. I did and learned how to make a bracelet with crescent shaped beads, seed beads and o-rings. They also sell works of local artists.

Wow! What a hidden treasure! Everything is handmade! I could spend a week and still not see every unique creation. The store just oozes with positive energy and the love that went into the creation of each piece!
