I might be new to jewelry, but no one is new to knowing the difference between bad and incredible customer service. In late September(2015) I was ready to make a big purchase. I had been researching for a while on all of the important aspects of the specific piece that I was looking for and felt that I had the knowledge needed to make an informed decision. I emailed Eva Michelle to schedule an appointment and they were able to assign me to a specific person based on my needed. Additionally, I was provided with appointment options that fit my needs. I was assigned to Dianna and could not have asked for better service. I went in for an initial visit with Dianna and we were able to narrow down to exactly what I was looking for... but then, in a moment of brilliance she figured out how to make the decision even easier. We figured out a way to get my partner to come in the store based on something that I had mentioned at the beginning of my session... I had needed a chain for a vintage 1800s pocket watch and they had a perfect match. While we were in there we had two other goals...get her fitted and confirm the exact piece that she loved the most. I was able to schedule a time for us to "drop in" and when we did Dianna had ensured that no one said anything like "welcome back," we were greeted as first timers and it was clear to me that everyone was doing their part perfectly to ensure that our experience was top notch... even on a busy Saturday we were treated perfectly. We were able to get the pocket watch chain but more importantly we broke in a gold ring that was a gift from my partners Nana with a broken shank. Dianna delicately handled the piece and sized the finger that my partner wore it on... and also very nonchalantly sized the other fingers on her hand as well as the other hand explaining that it was a service the store provided so they could have them on file if she wanted changes made to the piece.... Needless to say, mission size ring, accomplished. W&G made all changes needed to make the selected ring perfect for the engagement and assisted me with a financial plan that fit my needs. We have been back a few times since, we are purchasing our bands as well as another piece for our goddaughter in the store, every time it is wonderful. I cannot say thank you enough to the kind staff that makes us feel like family every time we walk through the door... this is a really special and important time in our life and you all(especially Dianna) have made it truly special. Thank you for all that you do, you have got two life long customers in us! Love, C&V

Message: Thank you for continuing to be the jewelry store I can trust. Your staff kindly and graciously walked me through my purchase of a solitaire diamond pendant. Having grown up in Asheville, I visited the store before I could ever see over the counters when you were located on Wall Street. But even then I dreamed of being able to buy something sparkling and beautiful. My first experience was how you treated my Mom in the few purchases she made over the years. You helped her redesign her wedding set for her 30th anniversary. What fun! Over the years, you have repaired my original antique engagement ring, sized rings and repaired jewelry both fine and costume and even the frames of my husbands wire rim glasses. For my 18th anniversary you took my Mother in laws engagement ring and made the ring I wanted. We were living in Columbus, Ohio at the time and even though I had a drawing of what I wanted, ever store in Columbus I went into told me, " You dont want that, you want a new setting." When I came into Wick & Greene, you listened to how I wanted to honor my Mother in laws ring in the design. I know customer service is different in the South, but I have always felt special when I walk into Wick & Greene. It had been my desire to come in one day and buy a diamond solitaire pendant to remember my Mom after her passing. Thank you for helping me. On the first necklace you found exactly what I wanted and it was less costly than I expected. You were able to fit a chain to me so my diamond sits in just the right spot. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thanks also for looking at my engagement ring you made for me a number of years ago and letting me know it was time for repairs so I will not loose my center stone. Trust is what you have always provided my family. It was also exciting to hear about Wick & Greene continuing in the family. Looking forward to visiting again and seeing the changes.

Recently, my wife and I had the occasion to visit Spicer-Greene Jewelers while shopping for a distinctive gift for her. Upon entering their business, I was immediately impressed with how Eva-Michelle, the daughter of longtime owners, Mike and Eva Greene, and her husband, Elliott, had completely renovated the interior with the mindset of connecting with a wider audience. This wonderfully vibrant young couple has brilliantly bridged the gap between the family’s long history in Asheville (opened in 1926!) and today while keeping an eye on the future. A commitment to customer service, supported by a fresh, inviting décor and witty marketing are hallmarks of the newest incarnation of this business. I am so happy to watch these two continue the tradition of a well-respected family business while maintaining their independence from corporate interests. This place represents the Asheville vibe at its finest!

I visited Asheville two weeks ago on vacation. While downtown, I chose to shop Wick and Greene, as I am celebrating my 5th year anniversary with my wife. I was very impressed with their expansive collection, ranging from Pandora bracelets and Rolex watches, to high-end, custom jewelry. You can find a gift for almost any occassion and any budget. Kelly helped us locate the perfect Mikimoto necklace and even a Pandora bracelet for my mother in-laws upcoming birthday. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and allowed Jennifer (my wife), to try on (what felt like) half the store. The owner, Paul Greene, even personally greeted us and ensured that we had a special experience in his store. I have been fortunate to live or vacation in many parts of the U.S., and I can honestly say that this was the best retail experience that I have ever had!

We went to Spicer Greene jewelers to look at engagement rings. Our sales associate was Josh and he was more than helpful. He allowed us to look at whatever rings we wanted without offering his own opinion unless appropriate. He was extremely knowledgeable and did not push the most expensive diamond, and instead let us look at a selection of a few and choose which diamonds caught our eye. They didnt have our perfect band but Josh immediately told us they would fabricate exactly what we wanted and could have it by the end of the week. The manager Kevin even came over to check on us and congratulate us. We did not buy a ring today, but we will certainly be giving them our business in the future. 10 out of 10 would go again and we definitely recommend others to give Spicer Greene Jewelers your business.
