The owner is very knowledgeable in his field of expertise and its unfortunate that some of his FORMER employees did not act in a professional manner with customers and their property. He did terminate their employment as soon as it was brought to his attention from my understanding.I will note that yes it maybe true that he is not as happy go lucky as he used to be but that is mainly because a small business can not compete with the low prices of the big box stores or the online community. Since the rise of the all mighty big box stores the "mom and pop" businesses can not compete with their prices and also TVs and appliances have become disposable since the rise of the Giants. Just a short time ago when a TV or an appliance would break we all would get them repaired but now the cost of those products has dropped substantially that we just throw them out and buy new ones. I am not related to or speaking on behalf of this small business, I am just speaking truth. We all need to support our local small businesses even if it means paying a little more because in the end it is helping feed regular working class people and helping them stay afloat rather than making billionaires out of the big box store corporations.

As others have stated the owner is a disgrace. My experience is as follows. I pay $250 to have some "component" replaced on my Philips 42" Plasma. The TV had been blank and this fixed it, but only for 3 days, then it was blank again. So I return this monstrous TV back to him, only to wait two weeks for him to call me back and tell me, its a waste of money to fix it again. So I go to pick it up and the entire screen has scratch marks, along with missing screws in the back and the speaker cover looks like a bear handled it after sharpening its claws. The workers have no idea how that happened, but it wasnt them. By this time I am furious that they not only took my money, but now I have a damaged television, so I essentially paid them to scratch the hell out of my TV....great place!!

To all of West Haven residents, my whole experience with City TV and the owner was awful. The owner is very unprofessional. Very poor communication. I am in disbelief over his disgusted attitude and the way he does business. Very dis-satisfied.
