On behalf of my parents: Wanting to support local stores on the Cape we purchased an Amana refrigerator from Crane in 2013 with a 5 year extended warranty. In the Spirng of 2015 the ice maker failed to function properly. We contacted Crane and it took 1 MONTH for them to come evaluate. After TWELVE, yes 12 visits (where we had to be home for installation) the wrong parts were ordered several times by the service department. After several contact attempts to the Crane service manager the correct part was order and finally installed in late December of 2015. This has been a ridiculous experience of waiting 6 months to have the correct part ordered and installed. The one star is for the serviceman Paulo who replaced a defective valve that was recalled by Amana (that we were never notified of). Think twice before buying an appliance here.

I went to Orleans store last week to purchase a DW Advertised. I entered the store and there were 2 people at the counter, eating their lunch, no one addressed me, I finally asked if someone could help me, the man just looked up and asked what I wanted & kept eating. I told him I was interested in a DW and I showed him the ad. He said he didnt think he had one in stock, but he could show me other ones upstairs? He finally got up and walked around and in fact he did have one in stock. However by this time I realized if the company showed this much indifference I can only imagine the service would be just as horrific. I have learned in my life that the the quality of a company comes from the top. I am looking elsewhere for my DW and I also need a gas stove.

It took them almost 3 weeks to do it. They sent a technician to look at our freezer on June 23. He said that we would need a new relay board. The part needed to be special-ordered, and he said it would take 7-10 days to get there. I waited 10 days and had not heard anything from them, so I called. The part was there, and they said that the soonest they could send someone to my house was on July 13. I dont understand why they didnt call us as soon as the part arrived, and why they hadnt anticipated that we would need an appointment as soon as the part arrived. It was very inconvenient to be without a working freezer for so long.

I have gone in this store, unfortunately, 3 times in my life. I have NEVER EVER EVER been greeted by the 10 people that sit at their desks and stare at their computers. Its the craziest CRAZIEST atmosphere. I wanted to buy a dishwasher the first time. Second time , I needed a refrigerator and today I needed a grill. I just took my business elsewhere. I dont get it! I just dont get it. So enjoy shopping there....I guess

Very knowledgeable staff. We just bought a house on the Cape. We thought all the appliances were fine. Our first night we could hear this weezing sound. We thought it was a little animal. You know, new house, new sounds. Turns out to be the refridgerator. We went to Crane, worked with Thomas. I had already done some shopping around, and for a local store, they had the best price. Delivery, was immedate.

I had the opportunity to use their services to installed a kit on a kitchen aid refrigerator which had a design issue. Not only the repairman broke a cover but I eventually found that the kit was improperly installed.
