WORST SERVICE EVER RECEIVED AT A SEARS STORE WENT BLACK FRIDAY A.M. TO PURCHASE A KITCHEN STOVE THEY HAD ON SALE. THEY SEEMED TO BE OVERWELMED WITH CUSTOMERS MABEY 8 PEOPLE IN STORE THE OWNER AND A YOUNG LADY WERE THE ONLY SALES PERSON AND SEEMED TO BE LOST.. I HAD CHECK SEARS ON LINE AND KNEW IF I PURCHASED ON LINE I WOULD GET FREE DELIVERY WHILE WE WERE IN THE STORE WE ALSO DECIDED TO PURCHASE A NEW FRIDGE I TALKED TO THE YOUNG LADY ABOUT DELIVERY OF THE STOVE FIRST UNDECIDED ON THE FRIDGE AT THIS TIME THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD BE ABOUT FIFTY DOLLARS BECAUSE THE STOVE ITSELF DID NOT QUALIFY FOR FREE DELIVER THE 50 DOLLARS WAS DELIVERED TO THE GARAGE IN THE BOX AND SPEAKING TO SEARS ONLINE THEY ASSURED MEFREE DELIVERY LEFT THE STORE THEN CAME BACK AND TALKED TO THE OWNER AND WAS TOLD THATS THE WAY IT IS A HOMETOWN SEARS STORE IS DIFFERENT THAN A SEARS STORE ?? SO ILEFTAND ORDERD ONLINE..I SPENT A TOTAL OF $1,082.39 TO SEARS ONLINE FREE DELIVERY,HOOKUP IN THE HOUSE A $25,00 TAKE AWAY FEE FOR BOTH REMOVAL OF OLD APPLIANCES SUPER GREAT DEAL I LIVE ONLY 3.5 BLOCKS FROM THE SEARS STORE HERE IN TOWN THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAPPEND TO US THE LAST WAS A FREEZER CHARGING TO MUCH FOR DELIVERY..I TRY TO DO ALL MY BUSINESS IN MY LITTE TOWN OF PARK FALLS BUT THIS SEARS NEEDS TO WAKE UP AND TAKE CARE OF IT BUSINESS HE LOST A SALS AND ANY FURTHER SALES WITH ME AND MY FAMILY ... Kenmore fridge craps out at three months. Warranty service will take ten days. Totally unacceptable. I specifically asked about warranty issues before my purchase. The lady said " no problems ". I wanted to support this local business. Why couldnt they point me to a fridge that had local warranty service. Sears warrant service is super slow. The warranty person asked me a bunch of stupid questions about my" refrigadator" really..... Later.....Dale at the store did manage to get the repair guy here 5 days earlier that originally set up. Earlier a local repair guy suggested the fridge was froze up and to unplug it for a couple of days. Bingo. The Sears repair guy was very thorough considering the fridge was operating fine when he got here. I have no confidence that this will not freeze up again so I wheeled the old fridge to the porch for emergency use. What I learned so far: if you dont use the three prong plug you will have a problem, unplug and plug in again to reboot the computer, if it isnt cooling properly unplug for 24 hours. Most important, Sears says service calls take a week +. Thats ridiculous, call your local appliance repair guy and ask what he is certified to fix.... buy those and nothing else. Its gonna break.

Charged a friend for DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION $84.99 found out from other hometown stores its supposed to be FREE!! Do not go here if you need your items delivered and installed!!!!
