This was my first time to this Renton Jo-Ann fabrics, and I found it to be large and fairly well stocked. I was looking for a particular size and type of ribbon in 8 different colors, and was able to find all of them. There are a lot of craft supplies as well as fabrics, of course. While the staff I encountered were each friendly and helpful, I took a star off for only one staff person at the checkout and only one at the cutting station. Both places had quite a line of customers either waiting to have their fabric cut or to check out.

Horrible customer service. Spent 15 minutes in line while a customer chatted up the one and only cashier. Meanwhile, me and 6 others are waiting and the cashier never called for back up. Manager arrived just as I got to the front and then proceeded to give me crap about my teacher discount which Ive used at other stores with no issues. The selection at the store is sparse and combined with the lack of service, its just not worth it. Ill be sticking to the Federal Way and Southcenter stores from now on.

It is literally the only craft store that is convenient to my house, but their selection is very limited and the staff is not always very helpful. I usually have to track someone down to help find what Im looking for and they arent always enthusiastic about helping find it. Today, I waited more than 10 minutes in line while the only cashier encouraged the 1 person in front of me to find more coupons for a $10 purchase. I ended up walking out without my items because it took so long.

Atrocious selection. I need simple international ink cartridges? Nope. Heavy duty thread for stitching? Nope. Do the staff know ANYTHING? nope. I ask a woman in the sewing department for her heaviest thread because Im stitching a steering wheel up and she looks at me like Im some kind of alien. She had no idea what her strongest type of thread was. The store is laid out for quilting and glue. Their selection is atrocious and everyone is immensely unhelpful.

Useless employees. Absolutely useless. In what retail world is it okay to take down sale signs 3 hours before close to set up for the next day/week sale? Its not okay at all. Its false advertising. This is the second time I went to this store and this happened. Im not even going to start on the lack of competence of the employees and their want to actually help customers so that the store makes a sale and money.

The staff is friendly but for a craft supply store they sure dont stock many art supplies. No stencils, limited paints and brushes, no canvas board, no paint pens. I had to drive to another store for items I thought almost any art store would carry. They have aisles full of non craft stuff so its not like they didnt have the space. The store is quite clean and the staff is very helpful though!

Selection is sparse, but they have the basics and its super convenient to have a JoAnn 5 min away instead of 15-20 (crossroads or Southcenter). And it makes sense selection would be smaller cuz the store is so much smaller - its a basic business decision. I think Id be more upset if there werent other craft store alternatives nearby, but since there are, I wont throw a fit.

This store is much cleaner and organized than Bellevue. Young man cashier very nice but the gal hoovering over him to make sure he blacks out a coupon was a bit rude in my opinion but he just kept smiling and was very pleasant. Same gal worker was in the checkout line fussing with stuff with no regard we were trying to get by. Lady cutting fabric seemed unhappy as well.

Nice little small Jo-Anns Fabrics and Crafts store. Would recommend. Fabric cutting counter is either quick or ridiculously long. Smaller selection than the Tukwila location but its easier to find smaller harder to find items. Better after the remodel. Wish the donation bin in the lot would disappear as I see people shopping out of it.

It is always a toss up when visiting this Jo Anns of whether the staff will be helpful and friendly, or if I will be treated like the they have better things to do than assist a customer. Fortunately when the staff is helpful, they are very helpful and sincere. The location is great for me, and they usually jave what I need in the store.

The staff is always so incredibly helpful and today I didnt have any coupons or purchase on sale items but was encouraged by Bobbi to look up Joanns coupons online to save money. So I did, I found a 40 percent off coupon and was quite happy went to the check out and was given another 60 percent off up there love these ladies!

I loved it here. Worked here for a while. And i had the best days. The customers were so nice. And me the typical young person that i am, having tattoos and gagues, was treated like a normal person. I was glad to work here and help customers. I did connect with many great people here that were so just so great!

Doesnt have as great a selection as some of the bigger stores. I often end up going to the Tukwila store when I cant get things here (eg. No Silhouette products, limited spray paint selection...)

Good quick stop to find what you need. If you have a more elaborate project, this isnt the place for variety. But for the basic supplies, this is perfect.

Selection is much smaller than the Joanns Etc a few exits down. Customer service is never very good. Its right by my home though so I still visit often.
