This is absolutely the worst SAFEWAY I have ever been to in my life. I am in there almost EVERYDAY because I live across the street. While the staff are friendly, helpful and supportive, the QUALITY of the products are sub standard to say the least. I cannot tell you how many times I have had to take back meat, poultry and seafood....RIGHT NOW during the busiest time of the year, all the leg of lamb expires tomorrow Christmas Day!!! WTH????? Who in their right mind will buy leg of lamb that reads "sell by December 25th" and its already December 23rd???? I dont care that I am cooking it on that date...I want fresh meat. Their prices are through the roof and it is just disappointing. If I had not shopped at other Safeways , maybe I wouldnt be so disappointed and disillusioned. CONVENIENCE is the only reason I even go.....Drove a little farther to QFC for the lamb and I was NOT disappointed. And I drove to Bellevue for fruits and vegetables from Whole Foods because when it comes to vegetables and produce, you are much better off shopping at WF for quality and dollarwise no matter what others believe. At least I know I am eating quality products.

Great Store! I have been a customer of the Rosehill Safeway since I moved to the area in 1995, and have been a loyal customer because of the prices, as well as the people who work at the store. Although I have seen some employees come and go, I am still amazed at how many still remember seeing my daughter and I shop at the store over the years, and how they always take the time to stop and chat. Although that might not be important to some, in this day and age of on the go and online, it is nice to have that personalized service that only a store that knows you can provide, and Safeway does this very well. I have also been pleased with the Pharmacy, and find many of their prices comparable to that of Costco, which is always a big plus. Again, I feel comfortable talking to the staff, and know that I will always get great advice. Although I sometimes stop into Fred Meyer and QFC, the Rosehill Safeway will be my grocer of choice, as long as I live in the area.

This Safeway has-been going downhill for the last couple of years. Always out of ad items. $5 Friday deals are always gone by 9am. Especially any really great deals. Lines are long unless you want to check yourself out. (Give me a discount and Ill check myself out). Employees are obviously unhappy and it shows in the customer service they provide. All in all grossly understaffed, poorly managed, not worth shopping at to try and save a few bucks. The red apple up the road may be more expensive but at least I dont leave frustrated and mad.

Staff is friendly and helpful, prices are decent, & store is clean. 3 criticisms: 1.) Some of the staff smoke cigarettes by the south entrance and everyone is forced to breathe it, 2.) Same entrance is closed & locked at an early hour (9 or 10pm), which means even if its raining (9 months of the year) so you are forced to walk twice the distance if you parked on the south half of the parking lot, and 3.) ZERO BICYCLE RACKS!!! Does Safeway give a damn about its customers or the environment? Maybe, but sometimes I wonder.

I only use this store when others are closed. Terrible customer service... They never open their express check out. They want to FORCE you thru the self serv checkout area. If I shop in a food store I want service!!!! I am paying for it and I expect to get it !!! I suggest using Fred Meyer... Their express check out is always open and they use from 1-5 positions depending on time odd day and lines. Safeway management is arrogant and always looking for lame excuses.

We do most of our grocery shopping here so Ive gotten to know the store layout pretty well. The produce is consistently good and the meat department selections are varied. My only complaint is that the checkout process is so slow here. Between the checkers one-potatoe, two-potatoe checkout pace and the electronic transaction workflow, the checkout process is agonizingly slow.

I would give it three stars relative to other Safeways, but it gets +1 star for the area. It is one the better reasonably priced grocers around, but certainly not one of the better Safeways that I have been to. It seems too small and has too limited a selection. Additionally, they always seem to be out of a few items that I am looking for.

Many items are overpriced. Having to scan items with an app to get the specials is beyond stupid and a waste of time. You have to bag your own meat to avoid contaminating your bring-your-own-bags or pay to get it bagged separately. Unlike other Safeways, they dont double coupons either. The grocery stores in Redmond are just better.

They are definitely convenient, and overall variety of products are satisfactory. They tend to run out of milk and bread. For example: Sunday morning around 9:30 am, they have almost no bread at their bakery. Through the end of the weekend, they dont have any organic milk. I still prefer this location over other local alternatives.

24 hour grocery, friendly staff, in-store bakery, floral, Starbucks (daytime hours only), deli, seafood and meat counters, convenient location, clean. Offers self-service lanes during daytime hours. Pharmacy on premises, but for convenience I would use the 24-hour Walgreens that is located across the parking lot.

THE WORST STOCKED GROCERY STORE EVER. I came in for 6 items. They were completely out of 5 of those 6 items, not to mention the gaping holes where other products were all over the store. The cheese, bread, freezer and natural food aisles had empty shelves everywhere. Glad this is not my normal store.

Large store, but long waits at rush times due to too few checkers. Theyd rather you use self-checkout (also with lines) than open registers. Check the expiration/use by dates on any refrigerated product--theyre frequently past the date. Theyve finally (2Q 2017) gone to chip card readers.

I was in a motorized cart and my wife was using a cane. When we checked out the cashier just looked at us when we were struggling with the groceries to get them into a regular shopping cart and didnt even offer to get help for us to get our stuff to the car.

Safeways are Safeways in terms of selection. The prices are pretty good but the fresh food area where they sell the Chinese food and miscellaneous isnt very good. Either its too greasy or overcooked. I always feel crappy after eating there.

Main Safeway in downtown Kirkland... No fuel station... Amazon lockers outside. A bit older... In need of remodeling especially for Kirkland... The inside is ok... Sometimes the inventory is scarce... Not my 1st choice to shop here.

Its a good, clean store. When I cant find what I need, someone from staff helps me out. Staff is friendly, and I shop there often (few times a week). Bakery section is great, there is always a smell of fresh baked bread.

Bathroom was nasty, door to get in is filthy, just takes 30 seconds to clean a door...does management not use this bathroom and see this or just not care? Staff was great though, deli didnt have food(Chinese) labeled.

Good luck getting breakfast before 8. Made eye contact multiple times with the deli people but got ignored. Acted like I was pulling teeth asking for a burrito. I get they have set up to do but come on.
