I purchased a lovely sofa from them last night. The sales process was easy, no pressure and quick. Krista was pleasant and knowledgeable. I requested and paid ($99) for delivery. I mentioned I wanted delivery as soon as possible, and was told I would get a call the following day to schedule delivery. By 4:45pm, I hadnt heard from anyone, so I called to inquire about delivery. I was told that the Manager would call me after 6pm. I asked for a window, so that I could plan my day accordingly and was told that the Manager is the only one who can give that information. A little after 6, I received a call from the Manager, who sounded rushed and uninterested. He very curtly said " Your delivery time is 10:30 - noon tomorrow." I explained to him that I felt their process could be more friendly and considerate of their customers, by asking what time of day works best, and also confirming delivery times before the end of the business day. By 6pm, people have their next business day pretty well planned, and in my case, that happens to include business meetings and interviews, which are difficult to rearrange. My feedback was rudely dismissed as me being difficult. It is unfortunate, because based on the sales process alone, I wouldve given 5 stars, and definitely been a repeat customer and rave to my friends and colleagues... but the delivery process and the customer service after the sale left a lot to be desired. There are plenty of other home furnishings stores in the immediate area-- Ashley Furniture, HomeGoods, World Market, Pier 1 and Phyls Furniture, (to name a few), so Northwest Home Furnishings/Hawks Prairie Home Furnishings wont be getting my business ever again.

I purchased living room furniture from this store as well as a 5 year warranty. The first time I began having issues was threads coming loose from the leather furniture. This was corrected by a repair person being sent to my home. Then afterwards in less than two years from purchase the seats in all of the furniture began to lose the cushions and the springs could be felt as the cushioning material disintegrated. Then the recliner I had purchased completely fell apart while reclining. I called the store who handles the warranty issues and it took almost a week to get someone out to pick it up for repair. When they arrived to pick up the chair they told me that it would be two (2) months to get the chair back to me. It has now been over two months and the store, and the manager whose first name is Brad cant tell me when Im getting my recliner back. I have tried to contact him at least 8 times and he fails to return calls to me. No one else in the store can answer my question. Not only did I pay for furniture that is cheaply made., I paid for a warranty that doesnt work either.

I had 3 people help me with my first purchase, one was having his last day there, one who does the financing stuff and talked to me in an angry Russian accent, and the other was a woman whose birthday was that day. I know all of this information about them. They were kind, personable, and professional. I actually came back the next day and bought some more stuff. As for their products...I got a dining table with 4 chairs and a bench. Its beautiful. Sturdy. And so far very resilient. I purchased the floor model, and got it half off. It was a price I couldnt refuse. My husband and I needed something that was going to work for big family dinners and something better than the tall barstools we had. Our parents were getting older and we want kids so finding that table was wonderful! Came back the next day and got these nightstands for my mom. She really wanted them but wasnt 100% sure. Thought it through and the next day we had them. The "angry russian" helped us load the truck. They were all fantastic! I will be back to make future purchases and look forward to it.

Misleading catalogs, dishonest sales staff, and non-responsive, unapologetic management. They told my husband they would get back to him shortly regarding one of the issues with our furniture purchase - it has been two weeks with no word back. And thanks to their no returns policy, we have no recourse. Im puzzled why we had such a bad experience since everyone else has great reviews, but we will never return to this store and do not recommend them to others.

We bought a hideaway bed love seat. They were really easy to work with and had the best couch we could find. And, a plus, it was made in the PNW (Oregon) and not Asia. Havent had anyone sleep on the bed yet, but we tried it an it is much more comfortable than we expected. The couch actually arrived 2 weeks earlier than they said it would. Now we are ready for guests for the holidays.

My wife and I wanted a set for our living room with a sleeper sofa but quoted us for the wrong one and she made all the pricing already. She even got the tag and model. Just cannot understand why she still made that mistake. Any way we got the sofa because we have spend so much time already.

Great customer service. Not only did they find us an item that wasnt on their floor, they negotiated with us for a very fair price with tax out the door almost 30% off compared to other retailers listed prices. We did have to drive to their warehouse to pickup but well worth it.
