The layout of this place is really cool and allows you to park on either side depending which side of town you are coming from. And it also has a few good places to eat. The main issue is it seems like many of the prime locations which could pull people in are taken up by boring (no offense) shops or buildings used for medical stuff or insurance. It feels like it USED to be a hopping spot but has since slowed into what it is now.

Beautiful cozy place, the place is made from old historical houses of the area that were refurbished and brought together, so nice if you appreciate that. Lots of nick-nack shops, good for buying gifts and just strolling. I like that being there supports local businesses, unfortunately there is pretty high turnover because its hard for small businesses to afford.

Used to visit Gilman Village years ago when I lived in the Seattle area. Boy, it sure has changed. Gone were the local antique type shops, replaced by pricy nick nack type shops. Just wasnt like it used to be, an enjoyable place to shop for antiques, etc. Probably wont return next time we are in the area. Not a bad place, just not what I remember.

Cute shopping area with historic buildings collected from around the town. Unique shops with unique items. Some shops very expensive. Good food options, including The Flat Iron Grill, the best restaurant in town. Great coffee at Issaquah Coffee Company.

Had not visited in a long time. Treated disrespectively at the Black Duck. Eatery across the walk though was very welcoming with excellent service. Im certain the other Village businesses are as welcoming.

Gilman Village is a quaint agglomeration of unique shops, services, and places to eat and/or drink. It was a joy just to walk around the extensive boardwalk to see what was there. We will go back!

So many shops gone. Still a nice place, just not as much to offer as in the old days. The coffee shop is great! The birds singing in the trees outside the coffee shop were surprising and lovely!

Nice stores and restaurants. Traffic on gilman can be a nightmare at the wrong time of day especially since Atlas apartments went in and parking can be difficult if the village is busy
KI

Not as many stores as there used to be. Expensive, will not visit again for awhile. Used to be fun quaint place to go, now pretty much dead, hardly anyone else shopping as well.

Great strolling mall. Really needs a PR group to start building buzz. White Horse Toys, Issaquah Coffee and Flat Iron alone are worth the visit.

Gilman Village is nice for a walk along the boardwalk once a weekend. Otherwise the shops come and go so much and are kind of eclectic.

Its just not like it used to be. The shops seemed dull. Did eat at one place where the food was good. I was disappointed in the shops.
KA

Quaint place with a lot of different shops, easy to get around but incredibly vacant. It almost feels like youre the only one around.

Gilman square is losing its touch now. It needs a little bit updating both in store types and also buildings itself.

Street Mall mostly Mom and Pop businesses. A little of that Main Street feel in a franchised strip mall world.
