Something that has been bothering me about Stoneridge Mall lately is the invasive sales tactics from the salespersons of the kiosks on the lower level. It’s impossible to be able to casually walk through the lower level without being harassed along the way. I feel like I’m walking through a County fair mid-way being beckoned by the carnival barkers—at least I expect it there, but not in a shopping mall. Not only do I instinctively not make eye contact as I pass through, but now I prefer to walk from one end of the mall to the other upstairs instead in order to avoid the lower level. The last straw for me was this past Sunday (6/7/15) walking past a hair product kiosk (Valectric? Evolution? Not sure as I was not interested) and the saleswoman actually jumped off of her chair to chase after me asking me questions about my hair. This is getting to be too much. It is one thing to politely ask passers-by if they would like to try a free sample, but when you invade my personal space you are altering my shopping experience and making it unpleasant. I used to look forward and enjoy going to Stoneridge, but now as soon as I enter the mall I feel like I have to put my "game face" on just to go shopping.

SMART REPAIR STORE: I dropped my iPhone and it was dead. It seemed my only option was to spend nearly $500 for a new one. I accidentally stumbled on SMART REPAIR in the Stoneridge Mall and took my phone in on a whim. Within an hour it was fixed. New screen, new glass on the back, new case. Total bill was $115. Service was fantastic. It is great to know that a cell phone can be fixed. In our throw-away, disposable society, the attitude is that you just get a new phone every few years... and all those old ones go into landfill or are shipped off to foreign lands to be recycled in a manner that is extremely hazardous to the workers who break these things down. This little business can make a big difference... get your phone FIXED instead of buying a new one; save money; save the planet. A great experience all around.

Clean, somewhat upscale shopping center. Wife says its nicer because its a "Simon" mall. Only guy I ever knew named Simon was this aging new-age hippie guy in Berkeley back in the 90s - he was nice enough, but he never seemed to have any cash to buy food so he was always mooching off of everyone else. But thats okay, because he told some great stories. Im sure they werent all his to tell, but he made them real for us and we enjoyed hanging out and listening to him. I guess in a way he was paying for the food - a lot of those stories have stuck with me over the years. Thanks Simon. Glad to see youve made it big in the shopping mall business. We should get together for lunch sometime - Ill buy you a burger ;)

The rating which I have given is not for the mall but for a KIOSK called "RAINBOW CHARGERS". THE PRODUCTS WHICH THEY SELL ARE COMPLETELY NOT AT ALL WORTH A SINGLE PENNY BUT THEYRE RIPPING OFF MANY DOLLARS FROM PEOPLE. IVE PURCHASED A CORD AND IT BROKE THE SAME DAY AND I WENT TO EXCHANGE IT BUT THE LADY (MIDDLE EASTERN ) WHO WAS THERE SPOKE VERY RUDELY. THEN I INFORMED HER THAT IAM GOING TO COMPLAIN IT TO THE MALL MANAGEMENT REGARDING THE CHEAP STUFF WHICH THEYRE SELLING , THEN SHE RUTHLESSLY TOLD ME TO DO WHATEVER I CAN. I REQUEST THE MALL MANAGEMENT TO TAKE NECESSARY ACTIONS AGAINST THE KIOSK BEFORE ME, TAKING THIS ISSUE TO THE CALIFORNIA ENFORCEMENT.

Bland mall, with annoying Kiosk guys trying to get you to buy stuff, but their English and social skills arent up to par. No food court, but contains expensive restaurants around like Cheese Cake Factory and California Pizza Kitchen. There are cheaper alternatives like the McDs and Panda Express. Otherwise its just a standard mall, where you can find most everything. It does however lack a decent electronics department, best youd find there is maybe a Sears.

A HUGE selection of stores and shops to help you get your gift-on, even if you are just treating yourself. Well, ESPECIALLY if you are treating yourself! It is like going to Disneyland! You cant do it all in one day! There are so many offerings throughout this mall. You can go for breakfast, shop, do lunch, shop, get your hair and nails done, shop and then meet the group for dinner in your new ensemble. What a great way to shop & spend your day.

One of the two major shopping centers in the Tri-Valley Area, if you include Walnut Creeks Broadway Plaza. Its great place to shop (or browse) during the summer to avoid the hot summer days and nights. Parking is easy and plentiful, except during the Holiday shopping season. All the major stores are there (Macys, Sears, JC Penney, Nordstrom) plus the specialty stores for the whole family. Conveniently located between the 580/680 interchange.

Stoneridge Shopping Center used to be THE place to go shopping just a few years ago but now its becoming a less then desirable place to shop. The place is filled with those little island shops that sell crap and the crime rate has increased exponentially in the last few years. If you go, take a friend .. or a few. Specially if youre going there to buy something expensive. The thieves are watching you and waiting for you in the parking lot.

Large, solidly upper middle class suburban shopping mall in a great, safe and peaceful neighborhood. Well maintained, friendly security and a great variety of stores and shops. Food court is typical fast food, but PF Changs and Cheesecake Factory brighten things up. Clientele is well to do families, young professionals, empty nesters, retirees, housewives and teens. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. Definitely recommend.

This mall is just alright. Theres many different shops to choose from, but theres no food court, so if youre hungry, youre forced to eat at one of the restaurants. The layout isnt the greatest, and the prices can be expensive. Its the only major shopping mall in the area, though, besides the outlets in Livermore. Theres a Cheesecake Factory attached, but the food quality ranges depending on the day.

This s a nice mall, with 5 anchor (department) stores. Good variety of shops inside, loads of parking. A couple of good restaurants attached for sit-down meals, and a small bakery/cafe inside for a coffee break. I really do like shopping here - but I deducted 1 star because theres no food court. You have to wander around the whole mall to find the 2 or 3 places to grab a quick bite.

Everytime I go to this mall every single store is always unorganized. They cram everything into the floor so theres barely room for people to walk and look at the things. Other than that the mall is ok. I got lost a few times and I could not find a map anywhere. Definitely not a place to go if you are in the mind for a quick trip. Parking is always impossible.

This is a clean mall with excellent food options either for a quick bite or if you are looking for something a little fancier. The shops all range from inexpensive to pricey but I do love that there is a Teavana here and a Lego shop. The mall gets pretty busy on weekends but after work it is a good place to get a few extra steps in at the end of your day.
