It is a small mall, as malls go..they do have anchor stores, Kohls, Sears, Macys and Target. At&t for phone help or purchases. A lovely indoor fountain and seating around for those who are unable to trek after their shopping partner or friend. The "food court" was not up to my standards of good or healthy foods. Tho a Chilis restaurant cancelled out that thought. Restrooms are an issue. As a 65 yr old woman, this is a concern. One set of restrooms by the food court were closed due to plumbing issues. No sign directing full bladder people where they could "go"--Starbucks or Macys have them. The directory shows by pictures that restrooms are next to Security. THEY ARE NOT. As far as malls go, this one is ok. I prefer to shop local and spend my money at family run, small businesses rather than some global big box multi million dollar enterprise.

Ive made 3 phone calls and also came in to inquire about my watch. Each time I was told a different date that it would be done. When I brought the watch in for repair on 10-11-2015 I was told 2-3 weeks. Here is what I was told the other times I inquired: 11-03-2015: You watch will be done on 11-10-2015 11-10-2015: Your watch still needs to be pressure tested and will be done on 11-17-2015 11-19-2015: Your watch is not done. I will find out why and when it is expected and call you back within 1/2 hour. I got no call back so after a couple of hours I called and the lady said it needed a circuit board. I asked if I could have the watch back and was told either this week or next. I am disappointed in the lack of communication and incorrect updates. All I would like is accurate updates.

This mall isnt anything of what it used to be when i was growing up( in the 90s)..after moving away for a few years and coming back i expected something better! This is the saddest mall ive ever been too! Its dead!!!!!! It could be due to poor store selection. If you want people to come and spend money then add high end retail stores. No one buys payless but i bet they will but some gucci..hermes..MK..MAC..if its there! And the food court is a joke!! On the plus side..Nice job on adding a target!

Its ok. You can find the basic products at this place although it could definitely be better. The anchor stores (Sears, Target, Macys and Kohls) are adequate additions but they are too small which lacks variety of products. The food court lacks many options and only has subway, Korean bbq, Chilis and Starbucks. The north ridge Mall in Salinas and Westfield Oakridge in San Jose are way better options than this mall however. Dont expect much from this mall.

Its a monument to urban decay and local economic woes. It has some nice stores, but it is also dimly lit in places giving it a pallid appearance and a dilapidated vibe. It doesnt help that half the storefronts and restaurants are vacant making it feel like a ghost town-- especially by the food court. Maybe with a serious remodel this place could one day be vibrant again, but that seems far off.

Needs more stores to shop at, wish there was still a Spencers, wet seal, and they need a Charlotte ruse store badly! They also got rid of cinna bon! Theres no jcpeenys, all because the rental spaces are over priced, theres an abandoned building that used to be Marie calendars and has been sitting empty for over 5 years! The best place in the mall is chilis!:)

The Capitola Mall is a perfectly acceptable shopping center, its more or less the only good place for big store shopping in the Santa Cruz area. The mall is fine for shopping, but pretty lucky for just hanging out. With no movie theater and mostly clothing stores most of my outings dont last more than a half hour unless Im shopping for specific items.

Capitola Mall is our local Mall, its small but sufficient, it has everything i need in a mall, and i dont have to train for a marathon to walk through it. Every store is equipt with friendly, smiling assistance, with the security guards alert and ready. I recommend this mall to anyone who needs to do serious shopping. Two very big thunmbs up!

Went to get my baby girl some small nose studs needed for her 1st job. I went to Claires. There is plenty of parking. The lot was well maintained. Inside it was a very open floor.. small stores, with so much space they couldve had bigger stores and a smaller promenade. I was there after 430 pm and it wasnt crowded at all.

If you need to do some mall shopping this is your only choice in Santa Cruz county. I will occasionally drop by if I need to shop Target or Sears but I never find any need to venture deeper into the mall. I have no issue with the mall, I just dont have any need for the stores and services that predominate there.

This is the only Mall in Santa Cruz Country. It has seen better days, but the same can be said for most Malls today. Has Kohls, Target, Macys, and Sears stores, Chilis and Takara Japanese restaurants. Ample parking and numerous small stores still open. Under new management and planning new things.

This rating is specifically for the Target store located in the mall. This location does not provide the typical Target experience. The store shelves and aisles were in disarray, stock way out of place and out of order. This was a first and last visit to this Target location.

A small shopping mall. This place has a few big department stores. Its usually not crowded and they have a good food court. If you like Mexican treats such as Mangoneadas and Fresas con leche, this place has a quaint location near the center water fountain that serves them.

Safe shopping. Enclosed mall. Khols,. Ross, Sears. Many unique shops. Great place for that replacement of the left behind item when you are traveling. Many restaurants choices. Across Clair at is a nice strip mall with trader Joes and many other shopping choices.

Its an alright mall. I dont care for the Sears store as the selection in some departments is really limited and often unorganized. I like the Chilis there, but it can get really busy. I havent explored the entire mall yet, so I will need to update this review.

Few shop selection and very dead. You would think a mall would be a center of life and commerce but this man is sad and pathetic. Even on a Saturday the amount of traffic they generate is terrible. And the store outlets they offer are terrible as well.

They do their best considering its a small mall. Clean, friendly for the most part. Food court could bump up their restaurant selection if the mall would just lower the overhead. Overall since I was born & raised in santa cruz; nice spot to chill at.

Good mall, but it used to be better. Half of the mall is empty. But the stores that have survived thus far are all excellent. We all know malls are dying, and dropping like flies. But this mall still has a little life left in it. Go support it

This mall has gone downhill big time. A lot of the retailers have moved out due to management being completely inflexible. Most evenings it feels like a ghost town, so hopefully the new owners can turn this back into a destination again.
