Parking is generally a nightmare, but the selection of shops is good, and the place is well-maintained. Its in a convenient location, so if the parking was more manageable, it would be great. The plaza is walking distance from the light rail and has some places to lock a bike, so if you prefer to go carless you might be happier than those who drive. There are a number of good restaurants here to cater to most tastes -- a mix of chains and individual -- along with various boutique clothing shops and salons, etc, along with a movie theater. The old Barnes & Noble turned into a large Sports Basement a couple years ago and there is a good Trader Joes here.

An older shopping center that is trying to find its way in modern times. They have been successful with stores like Sports Basement coming in and Trader Joes but a lot of this shopping center is not very well utilized. What it really needs is a major do over. The parking here is pretty much always hideous other than in the early part of the morning. If youre shopping here for anything after that there is a good chance that you will be searching for a parking spot for some time. There is a parking garage in the far back but that is not terribly helpful for any shopping that youre going to do here. Mainly for the office building in the back.

Always loved the Pruneyard. Major construction right now, might offer nice improvements when done. Cant give 5 stars since they got rid of Hobbees, Boswells, and the movie theater childrens day. Cant give it 4 stars since I wish they had a better brewery than Rock Bottom, the atmosphere is fun, but not the best beers. Pacific Catch is nice, great atmosphere, but seating/reservations, and bar tables could be better managed. Could easily give the Pruneyard a higher rating, especially if you are more interested in atmosphere/location. Downtown Campbell close enough to walk.

I have been going here for 15 years. 1. The comment - parking is a nightmare - that is very true - 2. Enormous mall is not an accurate statement - it is not a mall. It is really a series of connected shops and buildings - with a lot of nice shops - and most noteworthy thing of all NO STARBUCKS! There is a local chain store coffee society - which is way more homey - and local feel to it. Lots of nice restaurants, a Trader Joes - Outback Steak house , Sports Basement - Bucca De Beppo etc.. Maybe it is kind of enormous - but it is not a mall.

For what actually used to be large drying sheds for prunes and other fruits back in San Joses agricultural days, it has been converted to a nice shopping center. Rockbottom brewery, Marchalls discount clothes, The Outback, and Trader Joes is popular. The movie theater has first-run movies and is never crowded. It has a discount for anyone with a SJ Library Card. Parking can be a little difficult at times, but a space usually shows up within a few minutes or if you travel to the far corners.

The Pruneyard is attractive and has a good variety of business types, including Trader Joes, with the focus being restaurants. Parking is not plentiful, which is why only four stars. Theres a parking garage, but its inconveniently located in a back corner of the property, making it a long walk from your car to anywhere you want to shop or eat. The property has recently been sold. It will continue to be a shopping center and development is beginning to be apparent.

The Pruneyard has a decent selection of shops (Marshalls, Trader Joes, Sports Basement, etc.), quick service restaurants (Togos, Pizza My Heart, etc.), restaurant bars (Rock Bottom Brewery, Outback Steakhouse, etc.), and entertainment including the Camera 7 Theaters. Finding parking can be difficult at peak hours such as the evening dinner rush and on Sunday afternoons/evenings when locals mob the Trader Joes.

always jam packed. parking spaces are too small even for a midsized vehicle. high concentration of moron drivers in a hurry = bad combination. its always being worked on for some reason its been 20 years and theyre always got multiple shops boarded up and walkways ,stairs blocked etc. just a cluster flock of seagulls constantly.

Really bad parking especially just to get milk from Trader Joes. Go somewhere else if you dont plan on spending more than a few hours there. Its a shame as the Marshalls there is a fun time to find inexpensive treasures. The location is set up very odd and one can easily get run over in these parking lots if not careful.

You think Hamilton Plaza is good, wait till you visit The Prudeyard. This one may just call it the jewel plaza of the Campbell Downtown area. It has pretty much everything from exotic cuisines to pubs, from baking store to the coffee shop, from pizza restaurant to movie theater. Please do come and check it out!

One of the best places to hang out around the Campbell area. Also our go-to place for most of the office parties and hangouts. Good mix of shops - from food (japanese, pizza, trader joes, rock bottom), entertainment (movies) and shopping. Parking may be tough on weekends and typical evenings..

I love shopping and eating at the Pruneyard. The have amazing restaurants including Pacific Catch. Street parking can be limited but there is always space in the structure. I also love finding bargains at Marshalls and getting my groceries at Trader Joes. This is a great little shopping center.

There are some good restaurants here and Tradee Joes and a sports basement. Theyre is also a movie theater. There arent a lot of cute little shops and the parking can be miserable. I enjoy going here but it is almost always to go to a specific thing not to look around or spend an afternoon.

This place is starting to suck. All the cool places are disappearing. First, Boswells went out of business, then Pizza My Heart went away, AND the movie theater is gone!!! If coffee society shuts down, Ill have no reason to come here anymore. F**k Gentrification! I want my old spots back!

Its looking like things are improving a lot with new restaurants. But right now Im giving low marks for how pedestrian traffic is routed during construction. One "pathway" takes people down a long way with no turnoff and then dead-ends. Very frustrating!

Great stores, and restaurants here. Right now the entire center is undergoing a MAJOR overhaul, but BONUS! There are less lines for the restaurants! My favorite restaurant here is El Burro, a full service restaurant and bar, with excellent food!!

70s era shopping mall that has a new life with fun bars and restaurants. There is a Camera Cinema as well. What really holds this plaza back is the terrible parking situation, but best advice is to find stalls on Campbell Blvd or Bascom.

Take your parents here. Therere a lot of fancy and sort of fancy places. I like Rock Bottom Brewery because of the beers and the fish and chips made with salmon. Getcha some. Its nice for strolling for a little; walk off those beers.

Kind of have mixed feelings about the shopping center. Lost of great businesses however the owners of the shopping center are forcing alot of good businesses out. So 5 stars for the shops and 0 stars for the property owners!!!

While a bit dated, this center has some great restaurants, a great brew pub, and one of the better movie theaters in terms of film selection in town. Parking can sometimes be a challenge, especially in the evenings.
