I had the worst service experience ever! I took my wifes passat to pignataro last week for and oil change, only because it is closer to me than my regulare VW mechanic! After that oil change the very next day while driving her usually reliable car all the lights apear on the dashboard and the car shuts off. When she calls me, I call the dealership to have the car towed back to them. Three hours later I get a call telling me I need a new battery and along with this "we will do an extensive check on your whole system", which would cost me $280 with the new battery. After my $60 oil change that added up to $110 worth of service, I was charged $280 plus dollars for a battery. Ok this is my wifes car Im at work, so I agreed to just get it done for her security and safety! After we have paid out almost $400 for an oil change and battery we get the car back. The very next day after picking our car up, the battery light comes on and a alternator warning light comes on!! Not to mention my wife tells me when she got it towed the first time she had to listen to Trevors story about how he wants to be a rapper and hes finally buying a new car while waiting for the loaner car!! This was too much information that did not help matters..... Ok so again I get the call while im at work that the battery light and alternator warning light has come on, but the car is still driving. I call Pignataro service (Trevor the rapper answers) to let them know whats going on and that my wife is on the way now and she will be needing another loaner while this problem gets fixed. The very next day I get a call telling me I now need an alternator and this is going to cost $700. I could not believe that after a new battery and all the "extensive checks" now I need an alternator!! After hearing the price from our little rapper Trevor I gave him a few colorful metaphors describing how I felt! This was followed by my demand to have this problem fixed complements of Pignataro, since everything was handle backwards and poorly! After the weekend I called early monday morning to get the "managements" decision on how this would be handled. Trevor tells me they can take $100 off the $700 and put an aftermarket alternator in my wifes car! What a load of BS.... I tell him (Trevor) were on our way to pick up our car...when we get there he gives me the same BS spill followed by a handshake!! #THANKS FOR NOTHING!! BTW my certified VW mechanic did the job for less than half the price and better service!! I wouldnt give Pignataro a PENNY from my ashtray!!!!

I originally leased my 2013 VW Passat from Carter in Ballard in December of 2012. Aside from really liking my sales guy, I wasnt exactly thrilled with the person handling the paperwork nor was any of the office staff too helpful. Ive owned several Volkswagens over the past 20 years, two of which were purchased at Campbell Nelson. Ive also had my vehicles maintained by the Campbell Nelson Service department. I trust and like Sonny but I dont care much for the rest of the guys and Id really like to be able to trust the whole team, not just one individual on the team. So Campbell Nelson has been a long journey of both decent and less-than stellar experiences. Off topic though... Out of convenience I decided to try Pignataro for servicing my new Passat. I am so glad I did! Trevor Neal in Service has helped me from my first oil change and initial questions and numerous times since and has always given me excellent Customer Service so I typically ask for him whenever I have any service needs. He has always been extremely professional, informative, and ensured I knew my patronage was valued. I recently had an issue and at the time I called, Trevor was unavailable so I spoke with Jeremy. Jeremy Harbison is awesome; not having worked with him in the past I didnt know what to expect but now I know he is a solid guy. My experience over the past few days has cemented my loyalty to Pignataro for my service needs and for my next VW purchase as well. Jeremy went out of his way and jumped through more than a few hoops to make sure I was well taken care of, and did so while empathetically and patiently dealing with my frequent calls. This gentleman has definitely earned my trust while striking a great balance of professionalism and personal rapport. I will absolutely be back and I trust that I will be well taken care of each time. Thank you all!

I went in on Friday to have the tires rotated on my Passat. I knew the rubber was low but needed to get one more month out of them so called and made the appointment to have them rotated and balanced. Dropped off my car at lunch ( 10:15 AM) for a 10:20 appointment. at 2:30 I get a call expecting that my car is done but instead I find out they did not do a thing. they said it was so bad they could no rotate the tires or balance it would be unsafe. When I got to the dealership to get my car I am shown the paper work on my car and trust me it was big list that they thought I needed to fix very soon. So not only are my tires so bad you can see cord on the front left but they could not fix the nail I had in the rear tire. I ask it they put the sparer on so it was safe to drive and was asked why? do you want us to do that. Needless to say I was not pleased at all with them attempting to scare me in to having them fix my car. Thankfully I have a very good dealership that is very honest and works on my car so when predestined with what was wrong I got a completely different answer. As they have worked on my car for 2 + years and just saw it in January they found it surprising that what they said was wrong really was. I am very disappointed with there service and their attitude. That same Friday I want to Les Schwabe and bought new tires because my husband was upset and did not want to deal with it, and they could not find any cord showing on the left front I should of not given them a second chance after my first experience, right after I bought my car. I drove in for an oil change and the service fellow told me he was very worried because my engine sounded terrible. I commented that I thought all TDIs sounded like mine. He did not know my was a TDI even after I told him.

We went to Pignataro Volkswagon on Saturday, June 21st, 2014, because we were interested in the 2014 Passat Diesel sedan and wanted to drive the vehicle. We drove an SE model and liked the comfort and handling of the vehicle. Jeff Long is very familiar with the Passat, and he explained many of its features and benefits and also the differences between the SE model and the SEL. We decided that we would purchase an SEL if we could get one with the exterior and interior colors we liked and get it for a price that we had pre-determined to be a good deal based on our internet research. We went to two other Volkswagon dealers and took test drives. We had a bad experience with a pushy salesman at one. At the other, we were told that they would not be able to sell us the car we wanted for the price we were aiming for. We called Pignataro back and made an appointment to meet with Jeff Long again on Sunday the 22nd. Shortly thereafter, we got a call from the second of the other two dealerships we went to and were told that they would take our offer after all. We decided to keep the appointment with Jeff to see if he would take our offer too. We really wanted to work with him because he was so knowledgeable and helpful. We met Jeff at 10:00am on Sunday and test drove the exact model we had decided upon. We were very happy with the car, and sat down with Jeff to discuss the price. It took some negotiation, but eventually he was able to sell us the car for the price we offered. We were very impressed with Jeffs professionalism, his knowledge about the vehicle, and with the way he worked with us on the price. Kathleen in the finance department was also very professional and knowledgeable. We are very happy with our new 2014 Volkswagon Passat TDi SEL! Thank you Pignataro!
