So... If you read down below, you can see a 5 star review I left after my last service. My opinion has definitely changed since then. On the 13th, 12 days after my service, my wife rolled down the passenger side window while we drove through the gym parking lot, and I could here a sound like I was dragging something. After looking around and having her drive the truck slowly while I walked along outside I found the sound was coming from my right front wheel. I unscrewed the center decorative cover to find one lug nut had fallen off. I then checked the remaining five with my fingers and found another that was just about ready to fall off. I had driven 139 miles since my oil change/tire rotation/etc. I immediately called Toyota of Renton, but the service department was closed. The receptionist/operator was extremely understanding and tried connecting me with a manager. I got their voicemail and left a message asking for a call back. I received one shortly after, the gentleman, like the receptionist, was very understanding and wanted to help. He said he would forward the voicemail to the GM and to the Service Manager (I believe he was the sales manager, but I could be wrong on that). After reinstalling the two lug nuts I drove home and checked the torque on all four wheels. The other three wheels were all torqued to Spec (or extremely close). The front passenger wheel had 2 lugs at 70-ish and 4 lugs around 40lbs. Im assuming the 70 is the 2 I put back on in the parking lot, but there is no way to be sure. Either way, this wheel was not correctly torqued. My family knows first hand how dangerous this can be, as my mothers truck has had a wheel fall off on the freeway due to incorrectly torqued lug nuts. Thankfully no one was hurt. I am also thankful my wife drug me to the gym on the 13th, or I may have never known until it was too late that my lugs were starting to fall off. Now I understand mistakes happen, things get missed. What is bothering me is the lack of follow up. Original 5 Star Review - "I truly believe these guys read their reviews and feedback and take it seriously. In the past five or six years ive been using them for oil changes/recalls/etc ive seen their service department make changes at least a few times. Always making it a little more efficient and easier on the customer. I like to get in right when they open and they usually get my truck taken care of quick. Just enough time to have a couple cups of amazing coffee from that awesome coffee machine. Ive honestly looked forward to that each time i needed to take the truck in."

"Thank you for you purchase of the brand new Toyota Prius, as a complementary bonus wed like to offer you unlimited free car washes." Lip service isnt what I was expecting but thats all its turned out to be. Ive since brought my car in 10 times from Nov 2015 to May 2016 be washed and only once was the car wash was working. And even then it looked as if kindergartners had washed it. I repeatedly asked while I was waiting 3 hours for my regular 5K maintained check if they could just get someone to fulfill their prices which always falls on deaf ears.. The regular scheduled check up was also a complete fail chalked full of lies. Before entering the shop i was parked in a 30min free parking downtown Seattle. A parking officer had marked my drivers side front tire with white chalk. Renton Toyota indicated my tire pressure was checked and tires rotated. When I received my car from the dealership I couldnt help but to notice the while chalk mark was still on the drivers side front tire. So clearly my car sat in there for 3 hours and the ties were not rotated and Im led tho believe the likelihood of anything checked was extremely low. I was however repeatedly asked tho give a review and told they would like to recurve 5 stars. Well Renton Toyota, you have to earn them, not beg for them. I strongly recommend not buying cars or servicing your car here. Renton Toyota just simply proved to me time and time again they cant be trusted. Frustrated I took my car directly up to Bellevue Toyota, explained what had just happened and they took me in instantly, rechecked everything in under an hour, and to my surprise my car had been hand washed, towel dried, windows washed and inside vacuumed. I was then given a prepaid card of sorts for 5 free Brown Bear car washes.

Fancy show room and excellent customer service. However, I will never purchase another Toyota. Their cars just keep going but when stuff breaks or is defective: Its costly! Never again Toyota! The Toyota I received from my purchase ended up having quite a few factory defects. That broke and should have been covered within the warranty coverage. They never honored it. Coolant water (twice); windshield wiper motor blades (twice); and a few others I cant clearly remember. They ended up waiting until a few months after the warranty coverage expired. Rather than honoring the defective part(s). I was a few shy to enact the Lemon law. Due to this I have been soured to ever purchase a Toyota again. Not honorable to deal with. Every time I tried to get them to fix a recalled defective government mandated issue; they kept telling me that they wouldnt fix it. Unless they some how ended up making me pay for anther service. If they had to order parts they just passed the parts off to another vehicle. Several rescheduled appointments and still no fix. The service room wait times are horrendous. A 7 am appointment for a standard oil change doesnt mean youll get out early. A 7 am appointment will generally have you waiting all day. _________________________________________ Thank you for the reply. This was all under the prior Toyota dealership owner. I purchased a vheicle here about 10 years ago. Under the old management. I have yet to try it after the new management took it over.

After calling several places for a replacement electronic key, I was quoted $270 by Bob Bridges Toyota so I made an appointment. When I got there the sales rep asked if i had been given a quote and I told her I had, for about $270. She said that was good, because they stand by their quotes and then tried to bill me $330. She had tacked on a $30 shop fee (other $30 was tax). I complained that I had been quoted $270, but she said that there was an additional $30 shop fee. She explained that when a person goes to a hospital, they always have additional fees and all the auto dealers charge them. I told her to give me my car back and I would go elsewhere and that she had wasted my time. Later after complaining to some of the office people, they got the person who had given me the quote and he said that there should be no shop fee. The only thing I had come in for was for a replacement electronic key -- nothing else! Didnt have any inspection, declined a car wash, was only there for my key. I ended up getting the key, but it was a very unpleasant experience. I have had only Toyota vehicles for the last 27 years, but Bob Bridges Service Department is giving the company a bad reputation. The problem was not of a large dollar value, but it sure was irritating and reflects a lack or either training or bad attitude on the part of the sales staff.. If this is how Toyota treats people, maybe next time I should consider another maker.
