I love this place! They have wonderful, fresh, ready made green salads, pasta salads and homemade desserts that youll wish you never discovered. The deviled eggs are worth a visit alone. They will even make you a tray of these delicious eggs for a party or if youre just feeling glutinous. They always have fresh hot soup and thick delicious cold cuts served deli style. They rent movies and have a small selection of fresh produce. Customer service is always top notch and the owner is usually always there with a smile. This place is everything you would expect from a local general store including slightly higher prices. Dont let that deter you though, this is a place that you will revisit time and again.

Sandy and her staff at DGS are amazing. I felt awful the other day and went in for some soup. They had already closed and I did not realize it but when they seen me they opened the doors and let me in. I was able to get some much need amazing home made soup, crackers, and dinner for the kids. This place has that authentic small town hospitality. The hearts of Sandy and her staff are servants and they pour their love into our community. -Kendra

The General Store has amazing hours, a great cross selection of groceries, household goods, gifts, and deli/bakery goods. True to the name! What first got me was the soda selection with classics like Moxie and Sue City Sasparilla and the take out meals. But above and beyond everything else, the bakery is on point. The Snickerdoodles are insanely delicious and the cupcakes blow away every cupcake boutique Ive been to coast to coast.

Charming little general store. This is a great place to get a home cooked meal without having to cook. The food is of great quality and the baked goods to die for. They have a fairly extensive deli, but otherwise their goods are limited and representative of a true general store. Ive always enjoyed great customer service here and the clerks make a genuine effort to remember you.

This is a friendly, hometown kind of store. It has a little bit of just about anything one could need. Not only do they have groceries, including fresh milk and eggs and fresh produce but also dry goods,a good selection of gift items, and even fresh flowers. There are daily soups, baked goods and a deli counter, too.

The staff is quite friendly! The store has homemade cakes, desserts, salads, and entrees that are quite tasty as well. A deli and a wide span of necessities make this a go-to place when I need to purchase an item immediately. The florist is also an excellent gentleman. His arrangements are quite nice.

Love all the baked cakes, cookies and soups. Best part is you can recognize all the ingredients! I take my son as a treat sometimes to pick out a small toy or stationary. They have basic things you might need without having to go to a store further out. Staff is super sweet too!
